For me, the dumbest is NBA 07's "1000 players online" achievement.

The most impossible is GRAWs "top in the world" achievements.

It was pretty funny though. When I got the achievement I thought "Cool! I got an achievement..... for what?" then I looked and got embarrassed. I was like... wtf?

except, one that was 0 and not dumb was Lord of the rings battle for middle earth two's  "loose to someone twenty levels below you."

on one that is dumb, i have to say one from Dead Rising. which had some great achievements, like genocider. but had the dumbest one i had ever seen. "free fall". drop, i think, 18 feet. you could do this in the warehouse the first few minutes of gameplay. and almost impossible to not do once.

Personally I want to see what Halo 3's will be.  Bungie's first time with achievements is either going to be horrible or great, but not in between.

are you getting the Legendary Edition of Halo 3(with the helmet)?  I will because it's got RvB.  RvB= teh funniest crap in teh hole wied intrnt.

i originally ordered just the game, but that was back in may of last year. and i got a message from best buy saying "we wont be able to get it into in time, we are refunding you and cancelling your order" which was bull. but i can at least now order the legendary for fourty more. i wish i could wear the helmet. that would be awesome. i didnt know it had some r vs b goodness on it? do tell. i want my heart is a lonely hunter on marketplace.

Yes for an extra $40 bucks, I expect the actual Halo 3 disc, a documentary, probably season 5 of RvB, and some extra never-before seen eps.

RvB is so funny, I get this like tingly feeling every time I watch it.  I love Caboose- he says the dumbest stuff ever.  Remember Krunchbite the alien elite?  Oh god that was good stuff.

Why can't you download the regular seasons via XBL Marketplace?  the OoM series weren't funny.

EDIT:  There will be RvB, I didn't mean it to sound like I assumed there would be.  It was released in OXM magazine.

we only have the seasonal greeting. and some other series that isnt so good on marketplace.  i like doughnut.

i want to see achievements for halo 2. it is by far the most played original xbox game. and i am thinking of what some of it's achievements could be.  a big one, nigh impossible. achieve rank fifty in any match type. an easy one, well, imagine anything. how about reload your weapon 5 times? ( thanks gears)

I wish old games could have achievements too, like you said for Halo 2.  Like if Bungie went back real quick and added them, then next time we play Halo we can unlock them.

I was a 50 in major clan match, although I haven't played in like half a year and I know that they took away one of the clan games :(.  Although the 50 symbol was insane, it's the legendary alien head with dual swords.

For Halo 3 though, every achievement has to be hard.  No easy ones- I'll be playing that for years, and I don't want the achievements to all run out.  Plus, I hope the max points is booted from 1250 to 1500. 

For instance one achievement should be 50,000 kills online which in Halo 2 I definately would have =)

well, that is because in halo there are respawns. tower of power gets me 100 kills easy.

they need some easy ones. though i agree they need a good few of impossible ones. and the rest should be hard.

it wouldnt take much, just an update, to get achievements for halo. i want my legendary to mean something.

When I got that gamer picture it reminded sort of like a trophy that I can display and show off. I really hope you can unlock a gamer picture for beating it on Legendary or like getting to Level 50

Except that beating Gears of War on insane is easy, even by yourself.  So it's not a trophy, and you don't show it off.  I never put that picture on my gamercard.  It doesn't even look good.  You're not special, everyone with Gears has unlocked that picture.

The "Seriously..." picture could be considered worth showing others.  It does look good too.   For me though the special edition saw is the winner.  You could get it one way and one way only.  And the Outfit one with the lady riding a bomb.  Hot...

I'll tell you though as soon as I get Halo 3 I am playing my brains off to get my rank up quick and early.  It worked for Halo 2 and it should work for Halo 3.  I hope the ranks are a little easier to boost up, I remember in the beginning of H2 online they were harder but after reset ranks it was easy.

Dude what is your problem, I type a thing and get criticized for writing it. You might not realize that playing video games is hard or easy for some people. For me it is a little bit harder and yes even though I got most of the Gears achievements in a month, my brother played on my account too. Please be more considerate, when I beat Gears of War on Insane I actually felt like accomplished something. Sorry, I didn't know it was a worthless achievement to most of the world.

Playing 8 hourse straight is not impossible.

Oh my god man- you set up a game, set auto-reset timer and each game to 1 hour and then just invite some friends in who need it too.  Then just sleep for 8 to 10 hours and wake up.

NOTE: I can't remember the specific settings to achieve this, my point is you're posting ignorant retarded crap.

Really just shoot yourself.  And a fact is that beating Gears on insane is not hard/ something to feel good about.

An even dumber one is the second secret acheivment in CoD3 the Purple heart one. It is die 20 times in one place. I did it just for the five points but it really should just be zero points.

It would be sweet in Halo 3 if you got a gamer-picture for every online level symbols you got, like if you got a 35, then you would have a picture of the 35 level and etc.
