Hit the dirt again with yet another game in THQ's MX racing series.

NOTE: This project was confirmed by THQ as a game in production in a 2007 financial statement, but has not been officially announced for specific platforms -- it is likely planned as the first next-generation chapter of the franchise, but exact platform plans have not yet been made public. I hope this is good. It concenrs me when we have someones name posted on the box ie. Jamie Stewart....How many games with a name attached were really any good?

ive been hoping for a new MX game for 360...i sent a message to thq iunno y dont ask me but they mad MX vs ATV unleashed and i love that game even tho it has quads..i dont even use them or the monster trucks and all that crap but all they sent me back was sorry we cant tell anyone about or upcoming games so maybe that is true cant wait

just wondering, where did you get that cover photo?

This is great.  Even though it has Stewart on it (who is by far the fastest rider in the world) it is being made by THQ, who made mx vs atv so I think they'll do a good job.

There are 2 things that jump out at me when i see this game.

First is, the 2 motocross games i like most are mx vs atv and mtx mototrax

mx vs atv - made by THQ

mtx mototrax - made by Activision

This cover has the THQ and Activision logo's on it

Second is, of course the AMA logo.

This means that this game will have all or most of the current riders and maybe even tracks.

What I am hoping for is that they get licensing for everything like mx vs atv but more brands, real bikes like factory everything and also like the monster kawi, rockstar suzuki, san manuel yamaha. Also brand name parts, not to make bikes faster but just exhaust, silencer, and brand name suspensions that are all different. Also i would like the story line like MTX has with sponsors and everything. And most of all, realistic racing where you cant double backflip in a race and realistic tracks and also i would like if you could do some block passing and scrub some jumps and it would be awesome to have ruts that develop as the race goes on that you can use to turn easier sometimes

who cares about the cover...as long as theres a mx game comming onto the 360...I recently bought a KX 250F...It burns my ktm sx 125 so yes now im am KX Element or something...Any who this look ligit.  Not like how there a million gereric halo 3 covers...hopefully it has fully customizable bikes...like you have to change the oil, put new pipes on, change tires, preload the suspension...etc.  But it can do with out the monster trucks etc.  And what is the mx 07?  07?  Does this mean that they will make a new one every year...can it be...the world of motorcross finally is as big as dumb "sports"  Sorry but my parents make me play baseball...I hate how motorcross isn't on tv a lot.  They should have there own channel.  God i hate sports.

there r on TV...ABC and SPEED but u have to go to amamotocross.com to check listings...its only on sometimes...but arenacross is on often

Finally!  Even if the box cover is fake, MXvsATV was made by Rainbow Studios, at least there is finally something on the horizon.  I am still peeing myself.

Ok so the Jamie Little game sucked.  Travis Pastrana's Mototrax no one played, and the King Jeremy McGrath got screwed by Acclaim.  The only MX game with a name that was good was "MX 2002 Featuring Ricky Carmichael."

Anybody have any updates on this game? Please let it be true!!!

hope this game has real tracks from europe aswell as usa because some of them are great to watch. hopefully the weston beach race will be on but probably not. its about time they made a new mx game and i hope they dont focus on the monster truck part to much and they still have a clutch

im really dont think this game is active because we have not heard anything and just seen a cover that i can make in photoshop. so ill believe when u get real evidence.

I hope it ain't photoshopped. I might have to go buy my PS2 back for the 3rd time to get back ATV Fury. I'd rather have a quad game with Motocross, Supercross, Freestyle, GNCC with Hare scrablers and it could zoom in to first person view to navigate tight trails and zoom back out when you open it up, and maybe even have hillclims where you have to use the rightstick to balance your rider and left to turn your wheels. right throttle gas/left brake (is this too complicated?????) I want to see tunnel vision when you get on the throttle too and everything. MX ain't NASCAR, where is the rider experience?

I dont like how it is MX 2007, as we havent heard nuthin officially bout this game it cant possiblly be released before october....and who is gunna put a game with 07 in the title when 08 is near?

So yea as much as I wish it was true...I doubt it.

the game is by THQ MX vs ATV Untamed. It is supposed to come out in January. Google it...

I would love to see this game. i want a realistic motocross game that isnt arcadish and that over exagerates how motocross really is. like mx vs. atv it was a good game but what we motocross people want is a real simulation motocross game. If they come out with one like that, im sold and im sure ill love it.

DWally I agree with almost all of this, the only thing i dont like is your dirtbike bias. I would love to see a 7 mile gnnc course on a game, but... gncc is small and the tracks change like no other. I mean if they (developers) were to create there own tracks that would be cool, but it wouldnt be gncc's.

i read up on the game... sounds good i just hope they did good on making the track look good with ruts and the bikes look good and not tacky...i read theres gonna be a way to scrub over jumps at full speed and an all new control over ur rider so as time goes we'll see just how much they put into it
