Alright this is the official 1K club for Sonic the Hedgehog and seeing as I was the first to do so, I felt that I should start a thread. But...... you can only sign under these three simple conditions. If you do not meet every condition you can not sign. Sorry, but these are made to seperate the cheaters who gamesaved for the Achievements and the ones who actually earned them.

 

 

Conditions

1.) Every Achievement needs to have a date, no exceptions

2.) You cant have any Achievements listed before the release date of the game

3.) Your Achievements have to make sense, you cant have Legend of Soleanna before Sonic Episode Cleared

To the TC - just so you know, you wasnt the first to gain the 1k in Sonic the Hedgehog. Zombie on Xbox (i believe thats correct) was the first in the World to obtain this feat. Just so you know. And to everyone else who comes in complaining about the thread maybe you should also consider actually trying to beat the game before complaining that the rules arent fair. "wtf? you can play it offline you know." Yes Sherlock, I do know that, you don't have to be some magician to make it happen. But it still doesnt make any sense why someone would play the game offline if he have to sign into a live profile anyways. ONE or TWO achievements I might let slip because of that factor. That's all.

 

So once again if you don't have the skill to beat the game *cough* SvC Sonic *cough* then please go and make some toast in the bathtub. Talking $h1t here wont boost your weak self esteem.

and signed... what a rush you get finally finishing it! My final moment was as Silver in Kingdom Valley Hard mode, to run around with no rings at the end and a million rockets firing at you then come out with a triple achievement unlocked is sooo cool.

 

All dated too, so it meets the requirements here :)

I share a conection with my pc and I don't have a router or a lan card. So I can only have one conected at one time, and as I use my pc alot while gaming I normally play my xbox offline.

Do I agree with cheating? NO

Do I cheat to get acheivements? NO

Am I going to buy a router/lan card  just to keep you happy? NO

This thread was made specifically for people to sign there name if they had the 1K and give some insight about the game and give some opinion on it. All of a sudden I get people who dont have 1000/1000 commenting and complaining.

 

So once again sorry for the rude language and hurtful comments. Just try to put yourself in my shoes. How would you look at if someone has just magically acquired all the harder achievements??? I dont know how else to keep out people like MagicMe and x JMB x etc.

Why bother cheating to get them anyway? you rob yourself of that awesome feeling of satisfaction you get when all your hard work and effort is awarded as the achievement. Aquire too cheaply, esteem to lightly... is just another number without any real meaning.

 

For those who have the gold medalist legit, how did it feel when you finally got it?

I know for me it was incredible.

About the only way to cheat now is if someone else does it for u. With the latest dashboard update, it won't allow most gamesaves on your hdd because they are for a different profile therefore won't work. They locked it out. I should know, I'm a member at 360gamesaves.com. But sometime this week they are releasing the "new" method. What it does is resign the gamesave to your profile id.  I've never used gamesaves to get achievements. I've only used them because I didn't want to actually finish a game but I wanted to play any level. SNG is the only game I've actually wanted to beat

Oh that is good news. I am surprised they didn't do it in the first place actually. To not link them just screams out to cheat with it.

 

So from now on all the 1000/1000 Sonic's will be unable to be done by cheat? Or only those who apply this new dashboard update?

I was talking about the latest thats out right now. Not the new one thats coming in a few days.  So no one has been able to achievement cheat since fall last year really.  But like I said this "new" method that they are releasing resigns the gamesave to ur profile id # so yes once that releases everyone that has something to access their hdd will be able to achievement cheat. Another thing, I also have an 360 Elite. When I tried to access my 120 GB hdd to transfer all my gamesaves, the program Xplorer360, would only open partion 2 but wouldn't open 0 or 3.  Partition 3 is where all the good stuff is stored, gamesaves, downloaded content, etc.  I don't know, maybe M$ added some sort of lock out on the drive.  Now I'm waiting for my migration cable cuz thats the only way right now to transfer over all my crap to my 120.

Couldn't you move your saves over with a trusty MU?

 

But yeah, thats awesome that they can't do it anymore :)
