Oh well, at least this thread is a valid one unlike so many others. Also, this game and Catan are real great re-introductions to the table top genre that I have gotten away from in recent years. Visited a comic shop recently and I think I may pick this game up along with some others to play with friends when I am not on the console. Who would have thunk it?
Hehe. Yes, the rush to "200/200" is funny. I could care less.
Anyhoo, yes, with Catan coming out and now Carcassonne I too have recently been "re-bitten" by the board game bug. I've purchased over a dozen table top board games in the last two months *sheep* It's been a lot of fun to play them with friends and family.
I can so far recommend Zooloretto (recently won Game of the Year in Germany), Thurn and Taxis (Game of the Year last year), Ticket to Ride, Lost Cities (2 player card game), Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers, and Settlers of Catan in board game form. It helps to have someone to play these with of course :)
