If I could have gotten all of the achievements after one trip through on hard I would give it a 4/10, but since it made me play the damn thing twice I give it -3/10.

It was pretty fun, a lot better then LoTR's in my opinion.  I do like the grappling/throwing system.  I think they did a decently well game for the movie they based off of it.

You are comparing this game to great games probably.  The games that have great staff and a lot more money then this game got.  Most of the people who worked on this game are semi new and they got next to nothing to create this game based on a crappy movie.  For all those things, I still say it is a decent game.

games good (heh i played it on ps2-gasp blasphemy), movies horrible, book is good so is Eldest 2nd book in the series

This is a fun little game to play. Obivously it is not Gears or halo or something like that but it defintly is not a piece of crap, but i do feel sorry for anybody who bought it for the full price of 60 dollers.

easy achievements, a little time consuming, it was worth the rental for me...

I think they could have done a lot better with the graphics. They should have used the 360 to its full capabilities. Also I think that the game should have been extended beyond the movie, and based on the books as well to give atleast a little re-playable capability. This game is probably one of the worst I've played in a while.

it seems like a game you love or hate :P

Gears of War wasn't next gen?

I just want to say one thing, The book was really great I have read the first two. However the movie was garbage and the game it spawned was just has bad.

the game was delicious for 3 hours.

I paid ten bucks for this game and the part that really frustrates me (besides the graphics and gameplay) is that when you beat a level on hard they don't give you achievement for beating the level on normal.  I just don't like having to play the level twice.

Only good thing about playing each level twice is that the 2nd time through you know where the bloomin egg is

i never got this game, but i played the demo.

and when i saw a giant dragon get hit by one arrow and say "PAIN!! STABBING!!"  and then fly away...i was totally done

paid $9.99 for it, as far as platform games go it wasn't as awful as people make it out to be.. however there is no way i would pay more than $10 for it. For what i paid it does have some entertainment value.

I THINK ITS VERY GOOD BUT NOT BEST EVER IF YA LIKE LORD OF RINGS U WILL LIKE DIS ONE THING ANNOYING IS MAGIC WHEN U USE SPEARS IT AKES AGES TO FIRE AND THEY MOVE SO U PROBARBLY WONT HIT THEM BESIDES IT IS GOOD

I've only played a minute of this game. IGN gave it like a 5.5. I think that's a little unfair; this piece of 5HIT game deserves at least a solid 0.4.
