Making the game 1 shot 1 kill also makes the game more unrealistic, your average Army issued flack (sp?) vest will withstand 3-4 AK47 bullets before breaking and shattering all of your ribs...

You should have researched it a little more before you made the purchase. You aren't going to get COD or Halo like experiences from a game developed with the U.S. Army. There are countless games out there that provide that kind of experience, this is one of the few that try to provide a realistic feeling for those that want it. Variety is a good thing, and that is what this game is amongst all the countless mainstream FPS shoot clones. Because of this, you can stick to COD4 for your unrealistic experience, and those that want an extremely realistic game can play AATS.

Future advise. You might want to pass on Operation Flashpoint, Armed Assualt, Ground Branch, Soldier of Fortune, and Rogue Warrior.

The thread creator didn't buy the game. He gave his oppinion based on playing the demo, because he is a moron. Notice how this game isn't in his games list?

You can set respawns on all modes, individual, team or infinate respawns are available. I have the game and don't have it in my play list either at this point. I'm using my other gamertag.

seriously there are so many games that suit ur needs this 1 is made for gamers like me, who like to think and have realism. also to the person who said in real life it takes 4 to 5 shots to break the armor u are wrong it only takes a quick burst of 3 shots. which it usualy takes 2 to 3 shots to kills some1 unless u hit them in the right spot otherwise.

and how does COD4 not classify as a realistic shooter? if thats the case no shooting game classify as a realistic shooter because I can pick out many things thats not real about any of this. AA you get shot up, or a rocket up your *** and you just roll around on the ground til someone comes to revive you? its like you running around with a squad full of guardian angels with healing powers or something. well in this game the rocket launcher isnt meant to kill ppl its meant to blow up vehicles its even stated in the training that thats what its made for so my guess is u arent even suppose to aim a rocket launcher at ppl just like u arent suppose to aim for some1s head in the military. so yes it is still much more realistic then any other shooter out there, and thats what draws ppl like me to it.

well it doesnt matter if you not suppose to do it or not. If it was so "realistic" a person would be blown to living ***, not rollin on the ground for christ to save him. But if you find it to be so realistic, thats all good. But me personally dont find it nowhere near realistic in many areas, but it get points for trying and almost succeeding over alot of other fps. But the thing is, most of those other fps dont suppose to be "realistic' such as Halo which fits more under a fantasy setting. And COD4 is what it is, and does it so so well...

yea maybe u should be dead right away but the way the army made it was so u wouldnt be so there could be more emphisis on teamwork to go recue ur downed teammates like u would do in real life. i dont know if u ever played roas but in that ppl would be shot by a granade launcher and the same thing would happen so its nothing new.

Take Flashpoint for example, rockets are not ment as super power weapons.  You have a couple rockets that waste more time and can give away your position faster.

This game -- like most other games -- can be played as using both run and gun and tactic. Same thing with halo and call of duty.

for everybody saying Halo doesn't have tactics, it does. you haven't seen any MLG then. don't expect there to be perfect tactics before any game. in COD4, Halo & Gears I have experienced tactics so would you shutup about saying there's no tactics.

this game is horrible. WORST GRAPHICS ever. and yes I do care about graphics, one of the reasons I bought a system that had great graphics. and don't say Halo, Gears or anything doesn't have tactics cause you either haven't played them, or haven't played them long enough. or you just don't know anything about the game to start tactics.

1st of all i know they can be tactical (gears and cod4 moreso then halo) but they arent tactical shooters. also u are saying the graphics are bad but have u played the real game? no. the real game has much beter graphics then the demo each blade of grash moves leaves on the trees along with amazing explosions. it may not have gears graphics but if thats all u want out of a game then thats pretty bad. as said b4 this game isnt for every1 just cuz it doesnt suit ur gaming style doesnt mean it sux it means its not for u.
