The following is a guide showing the best way to get the achievements if your struggling. None of the achievements are particularly difficult and they'll all come with time and practice, but if your still struggling then see below for some useful tips. Hope this guide is of use to someone, it's the first one I've ever put together.
Deus-Ex Socca - 5G
Defeat a 'Computer' controlled team in single player or local multiplayer
This one is easy, if you can't manage this within your first few games then you need help! To make it super easy, play a friendly match as Brazil and choose someone like San Marino as your opponent.
Over The Moon - 5G
Score 10 goals in any match type except local multiplayer over multiple matches
Again, this is an easy one, simply score a total of 10 goals in any match type.
World Of Friends - 10G
Win an Xbox LIVE friendly match
Another easy one, win a match in ranked or friendly mode on xbox live. Make sure you pick a team that has a bit of speed. If you can't manage a win just keep practising.
Gentlemanly Conduct - 10G
Play a match without any of your players receiving a card
For this one just make sure you don't go for any saving tackles. Stand off the attacker a bit and he will either lose the ball, pass it or shoot. If he shoots you can do a diving header or slide in to block the shot. If your not bothered about losing then just do nothing for the full 90 minutes.
It Is Now - 15G
Score the winning goal with 90 minutes on the clock or 120 minutes if there is extra time
It is difficult to give tips for this one, it'll happen on 90 minutes or it won't; It's easy to score in the 89th minute or leave it just too late. Try Brazil v San Marino and make sure the score is a draw after about 80 minutes, then time your attack to score on 90 minutes. Make sure your in the opponents half in about 87 or 88 minutes and try your shot as soon as in turns 90.
High Tension - 15G
Win a penalty shootout
Penalty shoot outs don't come along too often. An easy way to do this is to create a DIY cup tournament with 2 teams, no extra times, with penalties. Play the match and make sure the end result is a draw. Make sure your a good team and your opponent is weak e.g. Brazil v San Marino. You should then win the penalty shoot out. Occasionaly the other keeper will play a blinder but just repear the above and you will get it.
Stay The Distance - 15G
Complete a single player preset league in 1st, 2nd or 3rd
Set up a single player league, preferably one with less than 20+ teams if your only going for the achievement. Remember that you don't have to play every match, click on result rather than match to skip the match. If you pick the best team in a league then get the match results you will find your at the top or near the top of the league with a few matches to go. If it's too close for comfort then play the last few matches your self. Good teams to choose include Man Utd in England, Real Madrid in Spain or Juventus in Italy, any team that was domintating their league 10 years ago.
Possession - 20G
Achieve an end of match possession rating of 75% or higher
Play another Brazil v San Marino type match but don't concentrate on scoring. Just pass the ball between your players. If your player has good speed and control then just use him to run around the pitch.
Champs - 20G
Complete a single player preset league as the best team
Look at the guide for the 'Stay The Distance' achievement above. I got both of these at the same time by winning the league the first time I completed a season.
Goalscoring Superstar Hero - 25G
Win by 5 or more goals in an Xbox LIVE ranked match
This is probably the most difficult one to achieve. It obviously helps for you to have a bit of practice behind you before attempting this, or you can just hope that you are matched with someone really bad. One tip I can give for this is to find a good team outside of the top divisions. My team is Man City and in 96/97 they were in the 1st Division. After selecting my team as Man City it is suprising how few people know that they can exit the 1st Division and select a better team, they end up picking someone like Crystal Palace and I have a siginificant upper hand. By the way, Man City have some great speed for a team outside the top division and I would recommend trying this achievement with them.
Thrash'Em - 30G
Defeat any team in single player by 10 goals or more
Another Brazil v San Marino type match is good for this one. Remember that you can change the match dutation from 3 mintes to 10 minutes to give you more time to get the goals. Once you have found a scoring routine that works, stick to it keep getting your shots in. More shots equals more goals.
Flying Header Hero - 30G
Score a goal using diving header
This is reasonably difficult to get. There are two ways that I know of to get headed goals. The first is from a corner, press and hold A for a second to get the corner lofted in to the box. As soon as you let go of A move you player away from the goal lightly and then back in for the header. Difficult to explain but you can consistenly score diving headers or slide in goals using this method. The other way to get it is to use you winger to loft a diagonal ball towards one of youe strikers. Aim the diagonal ball towards the far post from about 40-50 yards out, don't use any after touch, and run on to the ball with your stiker. This works best with a 4-2-4 or 4-4-2 formation so you have a striker coming in on each post. Remember with the diving header (and the slide) that you can change the direction of the ball before you make contact, you don't have to head/slide in the direction that you player is moving.
