I just finished it today.

No cheating.  I needed a partner for the hardest levels (there's no way I would have finished it without a 2nd player) but did it in 83 hours.   The last hour was spent farming for the Lysander Z, which I got on the level with all the giant insects (used the Genocide gun on them then just went around collecting until I got my last sniper).

1000/1000.

Just got my last weapon, the Buffalo Wide and in so doing, a perfect 1000/1000.

You did well completing it on Inferno with no Lysander Z! I got lucky and found this i think on level 42 or 44. How on earth you did 53 on Inferno without it I don't know but its the best weapon in the game and is essential for many levels.

just got it two days ago!

8124 Stamina-yea boi! my last weapon was some assault rifle

OMG! I helped my cousin beat the Hard, Hardest, and Inferno difficulties on his system but I couldnt get the achievements on my profile. I wish there was some way I could now. Isnt there a way to get those achievements on my profile from someone who beat all difficuties?

You have to play through the entire game on your profile, it won't give you credit for playing all the levels on a gamesave that was made with someone else's profile, sorry :(

Wow not many signed for 1000/1000. I can understand why though. It can be a blinking nightmare. Luckly for me being an Aspie my determination and focus are my strongest points. I got my last 200 points not long ago. All I needed was a Stampede MX and I got two re-doing level 53. I had 5500 stam and it took me just over 71 hours.  Which I don't think is to bad for my first play through.

Funny thing I never expected much from this game. I'm suprised how much joy I got from such a simple game.  This game reminded why I loved games from the 90s. I loved my Sega consoles back then. ;)

Finished it off yesterday.  Those last 2 missions were brutal.

Finally got 1000 today. I stopped playing this a year ago with just Wrath (48?) Inferno (52) and the last level to beat on Inferno setting. I thought I would boot it up and give it another go as I had to stop back then or I would have ended up minus a 42" HDTV and an Xbox wireless controller.

I had difficulties as I had to play the game by myself. I tried to get a couple of mates to help me but they thought the game was abysmal and generally tended to give up after a couple of levels.

As previous posters have stated, the game has something about it that just draws you in..... I dont understand it as this game has:

Terrible Graphics

Terrible Sound

Terrible Animation

Dreadful storyline

Cliched Japanese Enemies - Robots AND giant creatures!!!

Ridiculous random weapon pick up ( some people spent days getting their last weapon)

 

But the game was still so much fun.

Signed.  Finished Easy difficulty tonight to pick up the Easy clear and All Weapons achievement.  FWIW, 3449 stamina/47 hours.

Did it in Dec, yay it took about 50 hours but i did it.

Finally got the 1000 after playing this on & off for about a year. Took an age to get that last weapon to drop (Stingray MF).

Graphics aren’t great, story line is poor, and the dialogs are tacky. Loved it had my 1000 for some time now.

There's 53 levels and about 5 difficulty settings! That's 265 missions and only if it takes you one time to do all of them (which, granted, could be the case unless you're like me and didn't read the descriptions for every mission before going into it the first time and inevitably having the wrong weapons.)

Oh yeah. 1000/1000.

Finally, beat this game!  All single player...  It took 20k stamina and a few months but I beat it!!!
