LEGO®: Indiana Jones Acheivement Guide *NEW* *In-depth*

Hiya,

This is my New Acheivement guide for Lego Indiana Jones!

I hope you like this one because it is more In-Depth now, so please rate the thread,

thanks, oh and a PinnedThreadPop [SP] is welcome, haha, ok, right so I made this one again,

because the other one was not fully In-depth, but this one is.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Ok, here is the break down, There is 50 Acheivements,

All acheivements, add together equals a total of 1000G.

The Difficulty of the acheivements, are personaly rated as: So-So

5 out of 10 (The higher the harder, so medium)

The time it will take to max out the Gamerscore for the game is (approx)

4-5 days, with breaks. All i have to say now is, Enjoy!

----------

I hate these guys! - 20G

All you have to do for this is kill 200 enemies (Bad Guys), you can do this really
eaisly on the "Temple of the Grail" level at the start where enemies just keep on
coming out of the trucks.

-

It's not the years honey. - 40G

For this you can't die once in a level. This is best done on the Shanghi Showdown level
where you can skip alot of the level, also try having a friend in to help you.
*Note: You can't use the invicability extra, it will not unlock if you use it.

-

How dare you kiss me! - 15G

For this you have to use any type of Lego Indy and kiss Marion, Elsa and Willie.
You can use any type of them girls aswell, just line them up so when you use the whip
it goes through them and keep doing that and you will envetually get it.

-

Oh it breaks the heart. - 15G

Ok, so many people have said different ways of doing this. The easy way is
to go on "Into the Mountains" on the first movie and then use the glass bottles
to smash over another charaters head, use Indy and Marion to do this.
You can do this in Free Play, you use marion and then hit Indy.

-

That belongs in a Meseum! - 10G

You need to complete the Bonus Level "Young Indy" for this.
You have to at least have 130 artifacts, thats when i unlocked it.
But just keep gaining artifacts and it will unlock.

-

Nice try, Lao Che! - 20G

For this one, take controll on Indy and then in Free Play or in the museum
and kill Lao Che, this is easy if you have 2 Players and you select Indy
and the second play takes controll on Lao Che in Free Play, any level.

-

Goodbye Dr. Jones - 20G

This is the same as the Acheivement above, but the other way round,
kill Indy (any type) with Lao Che.

-

I step on fortune cookie! - 20G

You can do this qiuck by going onto the "Pankot Secrets" level and ride an elephant
at the start and crush all the spiders over the mud pit.

-

He's not nuts, he's crazy! - 20G

You have to smash 250 Lego objects, just play through the game
and smash every Lego object you see to get this, it is not that hard.

-

Hey, you call him Dr. Jones. - 20G

All you do is create a custom charater, and then thats it.
To go create one, go to the artifact room where all your artifacts are
stored and then jump off the edge, and you will land outside, follow
the path round to go into a small room and there you can create one.

-

That’s for blasphemy! - 20G

All you have to do is Kill Indy with Henry Jones aka (Jones Snr.)
Go onto "Castle Rescue" and then when you meet up with Henry
you can change to him and kill Indy. This can be done in Free Play,
Story Mode and also in the Museum.

-

Show a little backbone will ya! - 20G

Ok, lots of people have said that this does not work, but it does, i got this
by doing: Going on to "Pankot Secrets" level and using a charater that has
grenades and throwing them into the pit at the start of that level.

-

Blow it up! - 40G

This is so easy, you may think how, and here is how:
Go onto "Pankot Secrets" level and then use a charater
with grenades anf throw them at the big swarm of spiders that crawl along the floor.
Aim it right and Acheivement unlocked.

-

This... This is history! - 40G

You have to collect all 180 Artifacts, Click the link for a guide on how
to get these, Guide created by: Stcottish Steveo.
Artifacts and Parcel/Postbox Locations.

-

Your mail is on your desk. - 40G

For this one, you need all of the Parcel Boxes, you need to post them
and then go and buy them at the museum, click the link above that will
also tell you where they are. (Thanks Scottish Steveo!)

-

Fortune & Glory Kid. - 100G

To gain this, you need to complete the game to 99%, so complete The 2 Bonus
levels, Ancient City level and Young Indy, get all the artifacts, post and
buy all Parcels and then get True Adventurer on every level, then when you
have 99% you unlock the Warehouse level, upon completing that level you get 100%
complete and the Acheivement should unlock.

-

You choose, wisley. - 30G

For this you need to complete the game, then buy all the charaters you can.
You should have 2 left to buy, so then when you get the "Young Indy" complete that
then you can buy one of the last two charaters, you unlock 2 for completing that level.
Once you only have 1 last charater in the whole game to get, you need to find all the
Lego Star Wars charaters, and then buy Han Solo and then it will unlock.

-

You will become a true believer. - 20G

For this one, access 20 Thugee Statues, this is easy if you complete the game,
if you still don't have it, keep on repeating the "Battle on the Bridge" level,
and then that should speed up getting it.

-

Bad Dates. - 20G

You can do this on the "City of Danger" level, all you have to do
is throw 20 bananas to monkeys, so go on that level and at the start
keep on picking up bananas and aim at the monkey so it has the blue
target over it, the throw, 20 times to get the Acheivement.

-

What a cautious fellow I am. - 20G

This one is fun, use the Bazuka Trooper and go on any level that has
lots of Lego sceanery and just blow it all up! Happy Xplozions!

-

You call this archaeology? - 20G

For this, you need any charater with a blue book and just keep
re-peating the "Temple of the Grail" level and accessing the puzzles
and this will unlock easy, complete the whole game and then you will
not have to have to do it as much.

-

The best digger in Cairo. - 20G

Ok, there is not really a "Best Level" i no for this, just dig up
50 objects with a charater that has a spade, just keep going through
the game and it will not take long, i suggest the first level of the first movie
level on the first movie. Near the start you dig up about 2 things, just
repeat it, easy.

-

Trouble with her is the noise! - 20G

Ok, there has been some confusion about this, you have to break 50 objects
with the charater "Willie" with normal scream, or 50 objects and 50 enemies
with super scream, go on to the "Temple of the Grail" level and use super scream
to break the continus bad guys coming out the trucks. And repeat the level
"The hunt for sir richard" level, and keep breaking the glasson the 2 windows
right at the start after jumping on the rope and then on the ledge.

-

Start the engines, Jock! - 20G

For this you need to fix Lego objects, EG: Cars and engines etc.
All you have to do is get a wrench and then go on to the level
"Pursuing the Ark". And look around the first area and there should
be an engine you can keep on fixing and then just do that till it
unlocks, it's not that hard. Do this 50 times.

-

How we say goodbye in germany. - 20G

How do we say Goodbye in Germeny? Well go on to the "Motorcycle Escape"
level and keep on using an enemey charater to open the three enemie
restricted areas on that level, repeat it and it will be done in no time.
50 times for this one.

-

Where Forrestal cashed in. - 20G

Right, for this you have to complete the level, get 1 million studs.
Just smash and build your way through the level to get this.
Also, Multiplyers do not work on this level.

-

A source of unspeakable power! - 20G

This one is sort of the same as the acheivement "He no nuts, He's crazy!"
You have to build 250 lego objects, go on the level "Pursuing the Ark"
and there are lots to build on there.

-

Got lost in his own museum. - 30G

For this just simply go (in the museum) to the artifact room.
And pick up the crystal and put it in the stone block for it to
unlock and then it will turn into a control panel.

-

You cheat very big! - 30G

For this one, you have to get all the Parcels and then post them and buy them,
the this will unlock, you can put in the codes in the classroom and then buy them.
Visit the link above for the locations or for the codes click here:
Codes, and Unlockables

-

Throw me the Idol. - 20G

When i found out the easy way for this i got it really fast, go on any level in
Free Play or Story and just keep whipping objects like boxes to build things
and the drop them and then whip them again, repeat that, it is really easy.
Do this 150 times for the 20G!

-

We go for a ride. - 20G

For this, use the whip to swing from ledge to ledge.
On the level "The lost Temple" and then swing on the rope,
go forward to the next bit and just keep swinging from ledge to ledge.

-

I can't believe what you did! - 20G

To get this, you have to disarm 100 enemies, this is easy. Go on the level "Temple of the Grail"
and run towards an enemie and use the whip and you will disarm them every time, if you do it right.
To help take out one stick that holds the back of the truck up so that not loads of enemies come
at you at once.
*Tip: Use invicability, just in case other enemies hit you and kill you.

-

Ok, to make this guide just a little shorter, i have added all the complete levels
in to one, every time you complete a level you get 10G, there are 18 levels, so you
get 180 gamerscore in total.

-----------------------------

Ok, well thats my guide done, i hoped you like it,

and yes, please rate it, also leave feed-back if you like but the mian thing

is that it helped, the old one can do with a lock.

Here is the credits for my new guide.

This is a good guide but there is a serious downfall to it.

On quite a few achievements you haven't actually said what you have to do! Like the cautious fellow one, you tell us how to do it, but you don't actually tell us like how many things we need to blow up etc.

You know what i mean?

Re: LEGO®: Indiana Jones Acheivement Guide *NEW* *In-depth*

Sorry to say, but I think some of your tips/solutions are not correct:

- The 100 snakes (Show a little backbone will ya) can not be unlocked with the little snakes in the pits. You have to kill the big ones that snap/bite. I have tried your tactic for about 1 hour, and I got no unlock !
- The 50 spiders (I step on fortune cookie), also have to be normal spiders. The ones that come out when you destroy a plant and/or the same ones as for the achievement: Blow it up. I think your tekst is somewhat confusing.
- Oh it breaks the heart is hard to get with your advice. Simply hitting Indy with Marion (and vice versa) and/or killing Indy with Marion didn't unlock it for me. For me it took some tries in various levels, with various object: bottles, chairs, etc.
- I am nowhere near 130 Artifacts, yet I have the "Young Indy" secret level unlocked.

I'm trying some of your other achievement tips now, but I have the feeling on a few achievements, you have been guessing how you got them earlier.

Well you are not getting the acheivements in the right way.

And as Geometry says, the amount even tells you when you look

at the acheivement details on your xbox console.

I can't stress enough, the pit of snakes does work, i got it like that,

so if you can't it is glitched. Also the motorcycle escape tactic

for getting the "How we say goodbye in Germany", it may be glitched

but i don't know, i no as much as you, it does say 50 times though.

Agreed, I just went through that level and used the bazooka trooper to open doors 45 times and no achievement.  And you cant tell me that I didnt use the skill more than 5 times in the story and freeplay.  I hate glitched achievements!

I found a faster way to get the "Trouble with her is the noise." achievement. In the secret level "Ancient City" there's 7 objects you can break with the super scream. There's what looks like a train station right where you start with 3 glass objects. Then there's a cave at the top left in the wall you have to jump off a camel with a high jumper to get to, with 4 glass objects. Just break 25 of those and kill 25 enemies and you should get it.

I found a super easy way to do this last night and it worked first try. You need to play Co-op, one player as Willie and one as a Bazooka Trooper. During the bridge fight with Mola Ram you have a bunch of guys on each side with crossbows and once in awhile 4 guys will run to the middle of the bridge, try to stop these guys at one of the ends of the bridge so that they stay with the crossbow guys. Play as the Bazooka Trooper and have Willie stand behind you and use the super scream, this will stun the guys and you should be able to easily get 5 kills in one shot before the super scream kills them. I was surprised at how easy it was after trying to get it for awhile now.

on story or free mode, or you can get to 99% and then complete warehouse,

after that you should get it, I did.

This is correct. I did exactly this ..ran to a bottle (there were unlimited bottle supplies), use B to pick it up and walked over to an enemy, and used X to drop it on him... 15 blasting and killing (you must killed the guy with the bottle) and achievement unlocked for me last night.
