Sorry to hear the game may be stopping for you guys. Have you guys made sure the game disk did not appear to be dirty or damaged? Have you all already tried exchaging your game disks to see if a new copy exhibits the same issue?

I see that you mentioned that your console may be overheating, so have you tried moving the console to another location or making sure the vents are not blocked?
