For those that are actually enjoying the game and think it's the best since sliced bread! Let's hear your comments, for example what is the best feature of GP07? Do you like the bike swapping parts or maybe the new online tournaments? or are you looking forward to using the new pink slip features?

Also what got you playing MotoGP 07? was it on a friend's advice or are you a veteran?

    The pink slip feature sounds good, just cant get a game at the minute. Suppose everyone wants to get the collecters achievement first. Graphically better than 06, wasnt going to bother with it untill played the demo but that rekindled the love of the 2 wheels for me. Been playing it solid and had bioshock on the desk and not even put that in, so i suppose thats high praise. When i played first i was just using the default tuning but soon as you alter the ratios, wow tweaking them for each track makes all the difference. Defo gonnna buy 08 lol. Now ive just a few crits as ive gave the pos, is there any way to save bike setup, after turning the 360 off the setup returns to default until loading the saved setup again.When doing challenges cant distrubute credits or tweak setup unless you exit to the menu screen. Also whats with all the airplanes, so distracting lol. 8.5/10 rating.

unlike all the other Moto GP games i have played,i am addicted to this, i am playing REAL laps,and playing on PRO and it is awesome,i am taking notice of timed laps,and the xbox live races are really good..my favourite bit....when my racer is changing gears,his foot moves perfectly..pathetic i know..anyway 9/10.cheers

i like the fact that you can use an actual GP rider in a season.

How much stuff u can do i.e. the longetivity

Lots of achievements

Career, pink slip, tournaments, xbox live etc.

Racing in the rain. Graphics are just gorgeous now.

Very happy with the game. Thought it would just have minor tweaks. They did a nice job. Love all the added ambience in the background. Jets, etc.

I also like the jump on a riders back feature, shows u the racing lines better etc.

I'm enjoyin' the Game workin' again, the MGP lobbys were always the best, now the voice is crystal that community spirit has come back, great fun.

Iv noticed that a lot of people is very happy about the boot button being back I guess it does something for the community spirit

i like many things about this game like the sense of speed you get not on other games and the croud and commentator boosting the atmosphere of the game. the handling is great too.

I like the whole experience of the two wheel racing. The racing in the rain is graphically amazing.

I like it, it is what 06 should have been! Love the handling best of all, always been the series' hallmark. The atmosphere is great as well, have to agree there.

I have small criticisms - the AI appears to be modelled on chimpanzees riding unicycles, the jerkiness on the pre-race grid is slightly irritating and I think the career mode should be better structured by making you run in extreme and then be offered contracts for MotoGP depending on your success. But they don't ruin the game at all.

After all, the fun part is racing online and that is just perfect.

Graphics nice improvement.

The detail on the extreme tracks has been ramped up significantly.

I love the drum beat as you approach the top of the hill in gulf.

When watching a replay on montery one of the views that it switches too albeit very briefly is from the inside of a building, very nice.

the cockpit view is awesome.

 

MISANO!!!!   I have actually ridden that track alot when overseas.  Always love it but I like it better the way it's setup now (clockwise).  Graphics are fantastic

I like watching MotoGP on Speed TV and I use the game to familiarize myself with the track and therefore enhance the viewing pleasure of the actual race. The imersion on the game is amazing... Sitting in front of my 52 inch HD with the sound way up, it sometimes feels like you are there... great fun.

Proper circuit based championship racing, nothing else on the xbox offers that at the moment

i love the way you can swap parts on extreme mode, however i never play extreme i prefer the gp class. i also love the online races which really thrive action. also the simualtor on gp07 is fantastic making it very life like. =D

To me its very much the tuning and tweaking of the bikesettings that makes this game.I just love the feel and sound when you hit the topspeed and go flatout for like a sek or 2Its just very pumped and very agressive.Also once your in a room whit people who wants a clean race the races can be amacingly tight.06 kinda had that down aswel but 07 is running at a solid 60fps and looks a lot better and should imvvvho be given GOTYTheres still room for improvment tho so somebody please get cracking on that 08/09

-Once you get used to the cornering its amazing on powerslides
-Love the xbox live multiplayer modes
-Love the whole game!

It's easier for me than 06, sharper graphics and not as much screen tearing. More tracks and better backgrounds but what I like best if the challenges (only played the demo for 06 so don't know if that game had challenges).

Been meanin to get this game as i heard great reviews about online play. Would an average gamer be able compete online by just jumping strait into a race or would it be a major disadvantage not knowing how to change the set up of the bikes and gear ratios and all the technical stuff???

Im more of a footy fan, playin pro evo, and i think it is a great advantage knowing different tactics and bein able to change them, but saying that, there are people who dont even bother wit tactics and can just jump stait into the game and easily be able to compete with anyone.

Moto GP something similar???

You'd be able to race ok, most rooms have varied skilled players, you'll learn as you go.  To be truely competetive takes time, a veteran MGP player will be a tough "cookie"

The beauty of the game is it will reward your input like no other, it'll never end up boring believe me and every step you take is a bonus.  MGP07 is the best racer out there bar none

Yeah i jumped staight online after only a few practices and i got taught a few lessons, yet to do a clean lap!!!

Been playing alot offline lately, after comin last in every race online! I think im getting quite good, but im completely lost when it comes to settin up the bike for each race to get the best lap times!!! Favourite points so far, other than the obviously great gameplay and graphics, is mastering how to knock opponents off when it comes to a tussle at a tight corner,(although i heard this is impossible against on hardest difficulty) I never realised the importance of a racing line before, cos i rarely stuck to in other racing games! 8/10.

you will need to connect to xbox live to update your gamerscore. it will then be represented on your gamercard on this site.

Can anyone tell me what you have to do in a stunt race online.

I downloaded the demonstration off the Marketplace earlier this year and found it quite entertaining ... a good racer to say the least. Now, as someone who enjoys titles of the racing genre, I was interested in picking up a copy of this title ... but I know little about it. I am not sure whether this is the appropriate thread to place it, but it seems like a suitable location. If possible, could someone please answer the following questions either as a reply or via Private Message.

1. Is this game still worth purchasing? Is a 2008 edition due to be released at all?

2. Do you race as a real-life racer or as a yourself?

3. What is the difficulty of the Achievements like? While I understand that games should never be based on Achievements, it is still something I would like to gain an understanding off before I look into getting this game.

 Thanks for the feedback in advance, it is definately appreciated.
