OKAY, I'M RELOADED!!!

I'm almost there, but it would be almost impossible for me to give a rough time of how long i played. I believe I recieved it from Amazon on Oct 2 and started playing with my GF. I know I finished Wei that night cause i had off of work ^_^.  Basically I was playing WO2 from Oct 2 till Oct 14 when I started playing Saint's Row 2. If I remember right I finished Saint's row 2 on the 18th and started playing WO2 again until Fable 2 came out on the 21st, which i played for 3 days then went back to WO2 and I am working on it now.  So a rough idea so far would be 19 days or just shy of 3 weeks and I hope to 100% it soon.

I'm sure you can figure out what I am working on. I just need that Uber high Prof level Dream mode stage, which i am pretty close to right now. I would like to finish up by the end of the week so I can go back to Fable 2 but I am working all week plus going out tonight and my only day off this week is Halloween and I have some plans to go out and enjoy myself that night.

Got the 1000 just a couple days ago. Took about 2 months, playing it here and there.

This one takes too long. Since not many people have posted yet I would think that not many people have 100% WO2. I haven't even done it yet, but I haven't really played much in a couple months either. I just finally 100% DW: Gundam last week and now I am trying to finish WO2. I'm still working on the same 3 achievements as I was last time I posted in this thread

I'm trying to break the Prof achievement down a little by getting every character to at least Prof level 10 (when you unlock the third outfit) first, then just going from there. So far I have everyone in Wei and Shu at at least level 10

each character needs to be at pro 30 to unlock the final dream mode stage. i have just finished clearing all the levels in story mode now to work on the dream mode levels clearing each one the remaing three difficulties so damn time consuming though

Yeah, there are 92 characters in the game, and 2,730 Prof is needed for that last dream mode stage. That is exactly 30 Prof per character, since you can only play as 91 till you unlock Orochi X.  Now that I know there is exactly 92 characters in the game this makes complete sense.

I'm  not really even worrying about clearing the stages on each difficulty right now. Currently I have all characters in at least Wei, Wu, and Shu at at least 10 Prof. Every one of them has their Lvl 4 weapon too.

When I had posted back in October I had 12 characters at 50 prof. Xiahou Dun, Ling Tong, Wei Yan, Cao Cao, Liu Bei, Sun Quan, Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Ieyasu, Lu Bu, Kojiro, and Orochi. I know that I had finished off a couple more since then. 

Guan Yu, Yue Ying, Da Ji, Keiji Maeda, Hanzo and Yukimura are the characters that I have maxed since then. So thats 6 more characters, for a total of 18. That's 900 prof points from just my maxed characters. With 18 characters at 50, that would mean I need 1830 between 73 characters which is about 25 per character. I still have a way to go.

From here I am pretty much going to keep doing what I am doing. Getting every character to prof 10 while making sure i have all of their abilities unlocked as well as their 4th level weapon. Once I am done that I am going to start knocking off some of the dream mode stages and maybe build a couple more characters up to max.

These achievements aren't hard to get, thankfully, but they are just really time consuming. It's ashame that there is nothing that gives you total playtime cause I would love to know how much of my life got sucked away playing WO2 so far. I know I just finally 100% DW: Gundam and that took 73 hours.

I finally got Orochi X yesterday so all I have left is the All Difficulties achievement; which I already have Dream Mode and the Shu missions 100% done, and all the rest of the missions just done on Easy with the exception of Wei-1 and Wu-4. That's 30 more stages to do (I did 38 today). I hope to get it tomorrow.

I got 1000 gamerscore from Warriors Orochi 2 on 12th of january this year. Ive had it since November 25th last year so it took me about 3 months to finish it but i will add that i had games like Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Sonic Unleashed, Fable 2 and a couple of others i worked on in between the endless grinding of WO2 to get the profiency. I would say in total playtime all togheter i used between 3 or 4 weeks. Good game but overused on my account for the looooooooooong profiency grinding. Just hope there wont be an expansion requiring more grinding in that department hehe. Next up is DW6 empires and DW Gundam 2 :D

i think there is 93 characters before orchi x bc when the ach unlocks for the all officers it has a 94 on it. i havnt counted but thats what i think

Your correct. There is a total of 94 chars in the game but only 92 totally playable characters. 91 of which are available to play and level up until you get Orochi X. The other 2 characters, as referenced in the achivement pic (which does say 94) are Dodomeki and Gyuki, which are only playable in VS mode and are not able to level up and do not count towards the level and prof requirements.  That is why they were  not counted in my previous count.

And a quick update on my 100% run.

I just got 10 prof on all charcters + 18 chars maxed. All 4th level weps and abilities unlocked too.  that means i have about 1830 prof now. About 900 more to go

Your pretty much doing what i just did lol

After I did that I was figuring out who I could build up while finishing up the dream mode stages on all difficulty levels. I ended up chosing Tadakatsu Honda and the dream mode stage with Tadakatsu, Lu Bu, and Keiji Meida.  Kieji and Lu Bu already had 50 prof so it seemed fair to finish it up with Tadakatsu as well. The stage takes about 10-15 minutes to complete and I had only previous done it on easy. By the time i finished it with him on Normal, Hard, and Chaos he went from Prof 13 to 48.  There are so many officers on that mission! And you are practically guarenteed 1000 kills. It is ashame that you can't take anyone else in that mission.

Finally got this one.  It took me far too long - about 3-4 weeks.  I enjoyed playing through the game and even beating every difficulty, it was the hours and hours of Wu level 4 to boost the proficiency that forced me to self-harm.

Am glad it's over, my life is now full of joy again & I'm 1000 points richer.

LOL.  congrats on that one. I'm still working on it. I took several days off. Now that I think of it, getting 100% in this game would make for some good blogging lmao.

Day 1 - Recieved the game from Amazon. Was very excited till I found out about the severe slow down. Tried hard to deal with it.

Day 4 - A patch was released! Yessss! The gameplay is much more bearable now and I love the game.

Day 10 - Got all ingredients, finished the story mode stages once through. How do I get all the dream mode stages?

Day 11 - Holy *&^%!!!! I need how much proficiency!?

Day 32 - My thumb is cramping up....

A long long time? lmao  Gotta love the sound of that. These last 3 achievements are such a pain in the neck. So easy to get, but so very far away lol. I haven't played much of anything else in like 2 weeks. I was thinking of going to DW5:E after this but i am thinking of finishing up Last Remnant or starting Dead space.

I now have 31 chars maxed.

Also, I was thinking of this one earlier today. Unlocking Orochi X should give you a gamer pic, kinda like the Seriously! gamer pic for Gears of War lmao

Alrighty, I can finally say that I have gotten 100% on Warriors Orochi 2. I finally got it Sunday. It took way too long. I estimate somewhere very close to 90 hours. Now I think I can start playing something else or finish up something I haven't played in awhile. I'm debating on finishing up Last Remnant, or starting up Dead Rising or Dead Space.

I got alot of characters at Max Prof. and all the rest had 10. I had about 45 characters at max Prof. When I really started to focus on the WO2 achievements I had like 18 max, then I started to get everyone up to prof 10 (when they gain the 3rd outfit) and made sure I had all of their abilities and 4th level weapons. Then from there I concentrated on making sure I had all stages on all difficulties complete before I finally unlocked the last dream stage. This is what I recommend.

4th level weapons - Wei Stage 1. With a properly equipped character you can finish this stage in about 4 minutes or less, killing the 4 enemy officers that drop weapon crates, and thus quickly gathering new weapons. This is my FAV weapon farming stage. Probably the best one.

Prof Leveling - Wei stage 8. I used to use Wei 1 for this as well but while playing through it again I noticed just how much this stage boosts you up, and quickly too. It has a bunch of enemy officers and can be completely in around 10 minutes. Depending on how thourough you are, you could gain from 8-10 prof levels EASILY in about 10 mins. I know someone else mentioned this stage before in these forums but I honestly didn't give it much thought then.

39% luck + 61% skill.

Ergh, I am one achievement short of 1000; I just couldn't bring myself to play all stages (including the Dream stages) at every difficulty. I think I burned myself out on the profiency grinding.

And on an unrelated note, I think this game might've been my last Dynasty Warrior-related game; I would love to see any of the series (DW, SW, or WO) advance a bit more than it has before I invest in another one. Things like an improved overall game engine (view distance and slowdown in spots are not total game-breakers, but considering its been like this since DW2, I've been wondering if Koei will ever make a leap to a newer engine to support their large-scale battles). Also I've heard people would be interested in some sort of online co-op...I've always applauded these game with their local multiplayer support, but I also think the addition of online would be welcomed (I can't always get my friends to gather in one location to play).

Anyways, props to everyone else in this topic that obtained 1000/1000 gamerscore...it isn't something so utterly difficulty to get (Ninja Gaiden 2's weapon achievements come to mind...ack) but it sure takes dedication. Kudos to all you guys and gals.

Unlocking the last stage of dream mode took me really long time.Need total proficiency of 2730 pts.
Kept on trying Wu stage 4 many,many times. This is not really hard  but takes just too long.I am almost done with finishing all dream mode stages and I will finally get 1000 achievement pts and will be done with this game.Kudos to all the ones who got the 1000 achievement pts!  Now I know what you guys went thru to get it.
