80070570 Errors on Marketplace. UPDATED.

Hello everyone,

If you receive error code 80070570 while trying to download content from the Marketplace, we would like to know what content you are having a challenge downloading. Please post the following in this thread to help us research the content and hopefully resolve:

Update: There is now a support article available that may assist with 80070570 errors, or situations when your download stops at 1%.

Not getting that error but I am getting 8007274c. Everytime I have a download going and go to add another to the pending list the data half the time won't even load. Just gives me this error and I can only have one thing downloading at any given time. No pending list anymore. I tried deleteing the marketplace data hoping that would fix it but to nope. If you got anything on this error please let me know.

This thread is more for tracking occurances of the 80070570 error message specifically. Can you post your concern in a different thread?

In your new thread can you answer the following(except for the second question, it may be good for others who experience Marketplace error messages to answer similar questions in their own threads),

- Have tried to download your content at different times in the day to see if you are able to fill up your Active Downloads then?
- Have you tried downloading content using the Xbox Live Marketplace on Xbox.com application to see if you can fill up your Download Queue on Xbox.com instead? 
- Have you tried to test your connection to Xbox Live using the Connection tool found in the Network Settings area of the System Settings slot? Does the test give any indication of any issues with your connection?
- How is your network setup? ISP? Router, modem?
- What is the full error message that you are seeing with the 8007274c error code?
- Finally, have you tried to clear your system's cache recently?

well i get that error every time i try downloading something and my dash board is not fully complete i only have 2 thing
my xbox and my friends.

What content are you having problems downloading when you get the 80070570 error?

Also, you said that you are only seeing the My Xbox and Friends channels on your dashboard. How are you connecting to Xbox Live? Have you tested your connection to Xbox Live recently to see if it indicates any issues with your connection?

Can you make sure that Port 80 is open on TCP for both inbound and outbound requests on the firewall you may have your 360 connected to? You may want to consult the documentation for your network devices if you need  steps on how to adjust your port settings.

Then please try again later with the content you are trying to get after having tried clearing the cache on your console.

Also, the issue with certain marketplace channels missing is being looked into, so please be sure that that particular port is open on your connection.

ok thx . where can i found this cache. i also asked other people they had the problem and then it automatically disaapered. so maybe i get it slower or something

The Atifacts/Wonder Packs from Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution won't download and i purchased them already and i tried everything plus it turns out that others are experiencing this problem as well.

I downloaded some free map packs for the same game the same day I purchased the artifact packs and the maps downloaded without any problem.

Purchased Mythic and Eternal simultaneously, points for both were deducted, but only the Mythic downloaded. Eternal always gets to 1% and gives error 80070570. No partially downloaded file in memory. I've tried downloading at different times every day since NXE. I tried queueing the download from the web. I tried saving to a memory card instead of my HDD.

Ok so I think I figured out something,  I was first saving to my HDD memory and would not download then I got the code.  But this time I saved it to my MU memory and it worked then I just copied the file to my HDD memory and Im in business.  Dont know if it will work for everyone but its worth a try.

I actually tried this method before (had a problem with CivRev Wonder/Artifact: The Eternal).  Didn't work for me, but your mileage may vary.

Also, I'd like to report that as of Thurs, 11.27.08, I was able to download the DLC in question.  Hopefully the CivRev issues are clearing up for everyone.  Yes [Y]

This should now be resolved for the Civ Rev content.  If you still experience issues in pulling down the Civ rev content follow the steps in this article:

I am having a ton of problems with the NXE.  When I connect, I can see that my friends are online the traditional way but in the NXE screen, I see 0 friends online.  I also can't click on or connect to any features.  When I try to select anything in the NXE such as the maketplace, I just can't do anything.  When I try to update my avatar, my Xbox just freezes.

How does one do this? Also, how does one clear the cache?

I can't go into the specifics of how to adjust your network ports. You can check with your ISP or router maker for steps to see if that previous suggestion helps with your issue. Please know though that we continue to investigate the concern and are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

For future reference, to clear your cache to resolve freezing and game auto-update concerns, you can follow the below steps.

  1. Re-attach the Xbox Hard Drive.
  2. Locate the System section of the Xbox 360 Dashboard.
  3. Select Memory, select Hard Drive, and then press Y to view the device options screen.
  4. On the Xbox 360 Controller, press the X button, press the X button again, press the left bumper, press the right bumper, press the X button, and then press the X button again.
  5. You will be prompted to confirm system maintenance. Select Yes by pressing A.

Well I half fixed the problem

I figured it has something to do with Strict NAT.

I came across this problem when I turned on my xbox and got the popup message. I thought it was some random maintenance message but its still going.

I'm using both computer and direct modem connection for different needs ie. streaming movies.

So I tried to access the market place but it didnt work, eh, I thought, probably maitnence, so I decided to watch a movie and was told to update my xbox to watch it, problem is, the download won't start due to the error message. I cleared my cache, then did a network test and it came back saying my network was strict.

I then, unplugged the connection to the computer and instead plugged into my modem directly, I DMZ'd the connection to my xbox and I redid the network test and its open. I could then access the market place and all its features.Problem is, I cant do the update I wanted to do for streaming movies since I cant connect to my PC.

So I unplugged it again and plugged it back into my PC directly, DMZ'd my computer connection to the modem and redid the network test.

Still strict....sigh

Every time I turn on my console and sign into XBL I get status code: 8b010008 saying some marketplace content is unavailable. I currently cannot access any marketplace content at all. Every time I try I get sent back to the My Xbox menu. Does anyone else have this problem?

yeh the game im trying to download is metal slug 3 iv paid 800MS points for it but i keep getting the 80070570 error and its not downloading i had this problem yesterday and today. can someone please help
