I miss the days of playing Joust constantly, but I've done it all in that game and I wish they would bring Joust 2 to Xbox Live. Please Microsoft and Midway, bring Joust 2 to Xbox Live Arcade. It would be so easy to do and it's a way better game than the dumb new arcade games that weren't even in the original arcades to begin with!

Don't get my wrong, I love Joust, but Joust 2 is another story... It's a terrible terrible game in my opinion.

Joust 2 would be a great addition to Xbox Live Arcade. It's a deeper and more complex game, but the gameplay is similar to the original Joust and it would be just as fun of a challenge. It would be a far better addition to XBLA than many of the games they add.

joust 2 would be awesome.  just hope they patch the leaderboards or else some people might play 12 hours a day for a week with the infinite lives cheat on. Just like DannyVinyard did lolz. Has nothing else better to do with his life!

I also am in college and I workout and train like the warrior I am. I am inconquerable. Every achievement I have is legit and done by the one and only #1 in the world at Joust...DannyVinyard, the warrior, the greater, the performer! Robotron is 100% legit wave 197. You can ask Endar, Alextron, AFIXX, and anybody else. Robotron #16 in the world arcade high score, #1 Ranked Versus, #1 Versus, and #12 CO-OP high score with Endar....ohhhhhh yeahnhhhh nothing you have done compares to my Godliness. Keep on playing your nub games and collecting your nub achievements and I'll keep perfecting my skills at games that actually take skill!

Joust is one of the greatest games of all time and Joust 2 is great too, if only more people knew of this legendary franchise. Those music games are so boring and souless, I'll never play them. Just mimmic the patterns like a robot, how dull and uneventful. I'm a warrior poet, so I'll stick with the game that takes the most skill and strategy, Halo 3. I could be in clan NTA, but I'm a warrior and I walk alone.

Nah, I'm not good at Joust. I just got wave 100 in co-op with Psych then stopped playing the game. It bores me to death and I wouldn't buy Joust 2.

I'm a legend at both Joust and Robotron...wave 100 legit in both games. Robotron, I made it to 197 first time after 100! I got the wave 100 achievement in Joust alone, unlike most people that have to get carried in CO-OP. Also I am #1 in CO-OP with Psych. There is no way to glitch that. When I got the top score in arcade mode, I was on fire, hardly dying at all and scoring a million in 25 minutes. In Joust and Robotron, I played hundreds of legit ranked versus games, in which 95% of the people who have the rank 5 achievements never even played one legit game! It makes me cringe that they're in the top 10 when they just boost off someone and have a record of something like 12 and 0. Most of those kids can't even make it to wave 10!

i also made my way through the 100 wave alone, all the waves are exactly the same after 40 wave, but after 2 hours it's freaking boring playing joust, i dont remember how many points i did but i remember i was bored and let my self die atwave 180 i think i had like 30 lives , about rank 5 achievement, some people need help cause this game is dead online man, im sure many people is good at joust but they can't get this achievement because there are no matches online.

Just to let you know, Psych said he feels you don't deserve to be #1 in co-op cause he was doing all the work. And don't boast that you played many ranked games legit cause you and I both know what you do when you are about to lose. You quit and it doesn't count as a loss.

You made it to wave 197 the first time you got to wave 100 on Robotron: 2084 but you haven't been back to wave 100 since...even though you carried on playing it quite a lot. You're not one of the top 5 at Robotron VS, so why do you feel like you deserve to be at #1? Me, Alextron69, PeteBloodyOnion, AFIXX and dogofwar28 would all comfortably beat you and a few others would as well. Well DannyVinyard is a quitter but at least he does his achievements legit. Mippy is a joke. He sucks bad at Robotron lol. I played Mippy and he was on his last life at around wave 30 and quit out. He then tried to convince me he was legit and it was hilarious to say the least! Sometimes legit wave 100 players die at around wave 30 but not with a score of only 600K! I was on a million when he died, talk about an easy win! XD
  I have also played DannyVinyard at Robotoron VS and at first, we were just playing private matches so he wasn't quitting and I thought he seemed ok but then when I met him randomly in a VS match, he quit out. Then the next time, he played me to about wave 40 and I actually thought he wasn't going to quit but as soon as he was on his last life, he quit again. It wasn't even ranked but it would have uploaded to the player match leaderboards so he didn't want the loss on his record.
  It's kind of annoying...there aren't many people who are good at Robotron so getting a decent match is hard. I hate playing people who die out almost immediately and are no challenge but DannyVinyard seems to enjoy it. As you will know SUPER OMAR007, I help people boost Robotron or Joust if they ask me nicely. I don't care about my meaningless record on either game. I helped you when you didn't even have wave 30. I just like to have a good competitive game and I don't care wheteher it's ranked, player or private. I used to play Alextron69 at Robotron quite a lot and after I beat him for the first time in my life (twice in a row as well ), we agreed to play in ranked VS to make it more interesting and so that one of us would take the top spot. I was enjoying Robotron at that point but then his Xbox broke and I got bored of it cause there were no other good players who wanted to play. It's a shame cause it's a great game. DannyVinyard undoubtedly loves Robotron but he lets his obsession with his meaningless VS record ruin it for him.

Does Psych really say that?! Everything he was doing, I am capable of doing as well. And after wave 100, you both have to do a lot of work to keep going. On Robotron, I did make it past wave 100 again...you can ask NTAEndar. But I got a new 32 inch Sony LCD tv in December and Robotron has been frustrating since, so I've hardly been playing. It's like there is a super slight delay or something and it's really affected my aggressive style of play. I think Joust is a great game, an arcade classic, and not boring at all...but hey that's my opinion. It's really not hard to learn if you give it a chance. I remember when I first got wave 100 in Joust...I knew the achievement unlocked when wave 99 starts and I was down to my last guy and there were still 4 birdies to kill on wave 98. I was so nervous but I came through like a warrior poet and even kept going for a little bit after 100. Most people who have wave 100 achievement in Joust get carried in CO-OP cause they're ok at the game but not good enough to make it even close to wave 100 alone. If thats how they want to get it, then fine. I've managed to play hundreds of ranked versus games in these "dead" games. You can find a match if you have some patience, instead of waiting 5 seconds in the lobby and then leaving. I guess the only reason I care is that these kids are just so bad at the games, I hate seeing them in the top 10. What I don't get is that you're so obsessed about me being #1 in Ranked Versus when I am a legit wave 100 in both games. I know I can beat you in Robotron, but you're so laggy every game and I'm not used to that lag like you are.

I feel that I'm a legend at Robotron and Joust. I did dedicate myself to both games, and many others have as well, they just don't have the talent. How many people are legit wave 100 in both Robotron and Joust?! Less than a handful....out of hundreds of thousands who have these games. If that doesn't make me a legend, I don't know what would. Of course it takes practice, but it also takes more than that....skill, confidence, tactics and excellent hand-eye coordination. There are people who have practiced and dedicated themselves to both games but still can't get wave 100 or even wave 30 in some cases. If you want to think nobody is a legend at either game, go ahead and think that, but I will choose to think otherwise. You can try to diminish my accomplishments as much as you want but it's not gonna make me feel less about them.

lol i also remember very good my first time to wave 100 (ive got 6 times to break my record but i always get bored) i also remember when i was on wave 80 i think i sent a message to mos of my friend list (including scotland) sayin, look at which wave im at!!!!! im about to get my 100 achivement and i also got my achievement when the 99 wave started and i was likeeeee ohhhh yeeahhhh (wtf!!) and i tell many people they can get the 100 achivement when they finish the wave 98!! but its useless when they cant get even to wave 50.
scotland i promise ill buy robotron and ill become a very good player and we can play then, just give me many months of training.

I never said you did. That response is for SCOTLAND1986. If you want Robotron, just buy it. It's only $5 (400 microsoft points).

I don't know how you could possibly have it in your head that you could beat me at Robotoron Danny, I average between 3.1 million and 3.3 million by wave 100 and you don't even get near that. Ask Alextron69, he said I'm the second best at VS (right behind him) and he's played everyone. I've been to wave 100 over 100 times and you've only been there twice. My highest wave (430) is more than twice yours (197) AND I actually stopped on 430, I could have kept going. So why exactly do you think you could beat me?!?! It makes no sense.

Also, there is not less than a handful of legit players on these games. There are 13 people on Robtoron: 2084 and something like 30 or more in Joust. And like I said, not many people actually bother to sit down and practice at these games. I'm not trying to diminish your accomplishments, you should be proud of reaching wave 100 because of all the time and effort you put into them but is it just me who thinks that "legend" is too strong a word for someone who has got a difficult achievement in a video game? You say you know people who have really dedicated themselves to these games and can't make it to wave 100 or even wave 30 so please let us know who these people are cause I have never seen or heard of anyone play either game for weeks or months and still not get wave 30!
