im going to buy the sequel because even though there were technical issues the gameplay and online was a blast and i loved it the sequel could really be something else if they did it right. lets here your opion

I might rent it if they've managed to work the kinks out of the engine and stomp out the bugs.  I'm really hoping he sequel will be a massive improvement, because the original had a lot of potential...  Unfortunately it was just too buggy, ugly, and had too many broken mechanics to be good.

I'll be getting it.  I just started playing the original a few weeks ago and loved it...Just wish the lockups weren't so random and it didn't lock up while saving ;/  Of course there are tons of other xbox games I've played with just as many or more problems, so I can't complain too much.

It sounds like they've learned a lot from making the first one, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, and likely reserve this one.

I will buy it, mostly cuz the original had extremely strong Rpg aspects. If the devs don't half *** the graphics and give us a decent frame rate, then it has great potential.

If it is not a total desaster I will buy it sooner or later.

I will never buy a Two Worlds game ever again.  Worst $70 I ever spent( yes i got the LE )    Story sucked, Gameplay sucked, Online sucked, & Voice Acting sucked.   I forced myself  to get as many achievements as I could so I wouldnt feel completely ripped off.

I probably will. I hated the first few hours but then really enjoyed it before becoming a bit bored once I went higher than level 45.

For a first attempt at a huge RPG they did not do a bad job, I played TW for about 90 hours so it was value for money.  I enjoyed the large map with distinctive areas and the creatures were cool. It was unbalanced after a certain level but I preferred it having the world level with me. Some of the skills were useless but others were cool.

Hoping they just build on what they learnt from the first and it should be fun.

So i was bored very recently...for having the game almost a year, i have never tryed online...Heres what i think...The graphics suck,the gameplay sucks..it all seems to suck, BUT IM HAVING SO MUCH FUN. theres not many people playing but there is enough.. i get 1 or 2 other people to join in a few minutes and i have a blast battleing...its new and fresh from the same old shooters


If temptation is fixed the game up(from some screenshots it has)Ill definetly buy..specially if the pvp is made even better...its so much fun.

Day one purchase for me. Loved the original albeit it had its issues. Looking forward to hopefully a more polished experience.

Wow man you just got beat up by a Girl

Day 1 purchase.

I thought the original Two Worlds got a bad rap. I was amazed at some of the games that got worse reviews than it.

That said, I was dissappointed in the horrible frame rate issues, cave bug, and lock-ups. Hopefully TW2 will have that stuff fixed. I will definately give it a shot.

I though that the original had potential, yeah the voice acting was bad, and everything else eas below par, but I enjoyed it strangely enough. Will try the demo of the sequel first, but not too bad a game. There is worse.

If a resteraunt sucks, And they know it sucked, and accept that it sucked... And they build an entire new resteraunt instead of just changing the old one. (DLC, multiple patches) Then most people would try that new resteraunt to see if they've changed. Otherwise you are simply ignorant to hate what you have not tried.

Also I have to comment on how you find insults somehow trying to make a point, I've come to the conclusion that you are >13.

I was using 'you' as a general term for our customer who didn't try the new resteraunt, not pointed towards you directly, sorry for the misunderstanding through that. Also, calling you an age is in no way an insult.

Your telling me 'get a life' when it's you, going into the forum of a game you obviously don't care for, and arguing with an old fan of the game (me) just pointing that out.

If they learn from the first game it can go from ok to great.  It would be nice to see more good rpg games.  I would give it a chance.

If they made a demo of the next game, then I would try it out and see for myself. 

Or a special edition box with a written apology about the creation of Two Worlds signed by each member of staff.
Also the special edition box set should come with a cheque (check) for the money I paid for the first 'game' and a receipt to acknowledge that if I think the second game is crap, I will get my money back, and also have the right to slap members of the development team with a fish of my choice at any given time. .......... and free pie.

The game had potential with its idea's, but the only Two Worlds I saw was my two dark blue eyes slowly drudging themselves into the descent of 'I'm never playing this game again'.

So keep the idea's, get better developers, and we'll see.

Did you know the developers actually did the voice-overs for the first game, they thought it'd be a fun, cost effective way of making the game.
In a very loud shouting voice altogether now come on! "THEY WERE WRONG!!!!!"

i agree about one thing...is that the actually rpg game wasn't very fun..i just play it for the pvp!!! which i find fun cause i 95%ly win and i like the ranking points system!

I'm gonna buy it. Despite all of the rotten reviews, I actually really enjoyed the original and I'm quite excited about the sequel.

i'll be buying the game, the day it comes out, i think that it will be quite good, it looks like they are gonna get to grips with everything that was wrong in the first game (not an insult, i enjoyed the first game a hell of a lot, and still am) and build on that.  so it should end up being a very good game :)

If I can get the extra money, I will get this. Would be good if they fixed the bug where the horse gets stuck on the benches.   >_>

Glad to see the arguments have ceased. Yeah, the game had some flaws. But with it being their first attempt at a game. Its obvius that things were going to be very wrong. The cave that teleported you across the map was annoying, but all in all. I did like some aspects of it. I thought the voice acting was so bad, it was funny. So I really did not mind to much about that. At least they know the problems they have to address. Hopefully, Two Worlds 2 ( Is it gonna be called this?) will be a vast improvement.
