I thought they had a group of proffesional writers andcreators to make up all the stories and action we see on the weekly WWE wrestling shows. Id have to say that they are not proffesional at all, their work is amateurish at best. The storylines are ridiculous, and the wrestlers are not being used properly by the company.

Mistakes include:

-shelton mom storyline
-father of  orton storyline
-fall in love lesibain thing
-too much marlenena and stupid marlena screws the guys (batista, m. henry) storyline
-the ring entrance of the masterpiece
- whole booker t injury belt thing
-those flashy guys accompanied by marlena should be re-done into other characters
-making the ex hurricane a harcore champ
-putting  hardy on smackdown
-ashley in the roster
-not enough women wreslters, always same girls and gimmik every show

....the list goes on that was just the ones i could think of in 30 seconds...



by 4 way, re-do your markieting work on the shows for the ppv dvd events, it really old school.

Plus i also noticed the WWE makes moves accoriding to how a wrestler preforms in the ring just like a nromal everyday compay does. If you miss a move and injur another wrestler, they will modify your storyline accordingly, maby they will make you fight someone they want to risk less losing to injuries or they will make you become the loser instead of the winner if they have any suspicion you did the move which caused the injury on purpose. Examples include masters being absent and having a few 1minute "short" matchs afeter his intial breaking match where he broke the guys face. obviuossly the guys backstage decided Masters would have to proof his worth on camera a bit more before they would push him like they have. Another example is the sudden twist of Hardy leavin raw and becoming a loser to not only edge but other less porpular wrestler after he missed his move on the raw show when his suplexed edge throuch a bucch of tables and almost brokes the guys neck. I watch the move on replay and matt really botched it, there no question wwe authorieties penalized him because of it.

MY point is thats this should not be as transparent and the storlines should be made to camouflage this kind of thing and that the WWE should send me a friend invite and contact me and ill join there creative team and get things rocking 4 real.

The problem is that the WWF/WWE was at its highest in the Stone Cold Steve Austin/McMahon fued. After Austin got hit by the car and was away for more than a year, thats when WWF/WWE storylines started to crumble.

They have a few decent storylines these days but no...and I mean NO storyline could beat the Austin/McMahon fued.

The Kurt Angle storyline in wich he copied some of the stuff Austin did was funny (like him coming out with a truck full of MILK instead of BEER). Some other storylines have been pretty good too.

I have not watched wrestling really in a long time due to the storylines. Just recently I baught the WWE 2005 PPV DVD collection. theres one storyline that was just plane bogus....the storyline between Eddie Guererro and Rey Mysterio and the kid Dominuqe. Who in the heck in this world would be sick enough to put a child on the line in a WRESTLING MATCH! That was too unbelievable.

Maybe someday there will be a storyline that will change the WWE just like the Austin/McMahon fued braught an entire new life to the WWF and changed wrestling forever  but not any time soon.

Yeah i agree WWE is now becoming unwatchable these days. I think WWE is not the sameas it was a few years ago, like when The Hardy Boys, the more hardcore Team 3D, Goldberg, Stone Cold, Brock etc now there is an elimination chamber with Carlito......what?!?!?!?!? Compared to the previous elimination chamber. I think they should give a big push to Lashley and The Boogeyman.......but more especially Gymini, theyre really good, just like TNA is giving Jay Lethal a big push coz hes promising. This years wrestlemania does not have any of matches that are really exciting, except for HHH vs Cena.

I response to the main person's (Bird Flu In You) thread: here's a couple points I need to correct/make:

A) You said ((-ashley in the roster )) was a bad thing.  Solely for this I hope the world swallows you and you burn in he.ll.  Ashley is very enthusiastic and has worked very hard on her in-ring skills.  She is attractive and brings a lot of talent (potential) to the ring.  I sincerely hope she comes back from he bad leg break. 

B) Hurricane is not the hardcore champ.  He is the cruiserweight champ and since he's 5'10 and about 210...it fits.

C) They typecast Maria as the village idiot (which is okay)...but Candice fulfills that every single time she talks.  Candice IS beautiful, but she's dumber than a brick.

- They promote the Chris Master's Masterlock as an unbreakable hold.  The problem is they keep saying it's unbreakable, but I've seen 3 or 4 people break it.  Then Master's or someone kicks them and knocks them out and he sinks it in again.  It's not an unbreakable hold if you consistently need assistance to keep it.  ** For example, Goldberg's streak of 180 straight wins is legit because he did not get help from run-ins.**

- Anytime they bring that idjit Hulk Hogan in for a match, he is put over to win.  Don't mention that he's like 110 years old.  He went up against The ROCK and won.  He went up against Shawn Michaels and won.  And that was after about 3 weeks of Michaels refusing to get punked.  Finally Michaels gave in for the better of the company and agreed to drop the match.

I agree, Vince and the WWE has been completely out of tune with it's fan base. I am not sure if it is the stories. But more they just don;t know what to do with Great talent. For example:

RVD; Carlito; Christian;Chris Jericho; Shelton Benjamin; Paul London just to name a few.

That is why I turned to TNA, yeah they have some storylines but it has great wrestling. That is what made the Stone Cold Era work so well.

Vince has to realize Wrestling fans like Wrestling not interesting storylines.....

Well nice to see this thread still goin on.

The WWE has expanded its operations recently with the ECW brand. A sound decision for them to have done so also, but, bottom-line a rather evident one to take.

The storylines...well they haven’t been good since my last post a few months ago. List of errors:


The biggest problem: DX...they are Fake, they dont act it out well, they have poor communication (shawn and hhh),and at least 60% percent of there jokes are vey lame compared to what they could do with no more of a budget (comon creative team. wake up) they have poor communication (shawn and hh)
Spirit Squad....surely they could have come up with something better then "we have 5 guys we want to add to the roster...so we will have mcman team up with a bunch a cheerleaders"  -comon guys u suck at creative work!
The mcman vs  dx  thing is a waste a storyline its already been done better before .....the guys really arent innovating here
too many wwe wrestlers on ecw shows
way to much marketing junk when watching the show live...this combined with the commercials is too much downtime or marketing time for the viewer.
sometimes too much waste of time recapitulating past moments that lead to a match (5 minutes of "this is what happened to this guy and the last show" is too much,,, could be condensed...)
suspending rob van dam (live and let live guys...your and employer and as long as hes working when well when hes being paid you should not ask more-) - well don’t let him hit citizens like ric flair does though//.lol

shleton benjamins character need to be completely redone. i think the are making him pay his dues and willl push him up the ladder later.
WWE tv show music...should all be re-done. to old.
 ecw belt should be bigger (all belts should be the sizes of edges)
edges belt should have a "clicking" mechanism so the spinning part with the wwe could hold straight or spin.
very poor storyline elaboration with the women wrestlers...
downfall of trish stratus character
jonny nitro should not be on roster (poor speaking + hestitant wrestler)
miz should be replaced for his mistakes (what is he on?)

 

Anyways that’s just what I could come up with off the top of my head. it would have a lot more to say had I took notes during the shows to remember everything…but I still haven’t received any offers from the WWE, who defenitly need a guy like me for DETAIL CONTROL…just send me a friend invite…

WWE dont want anyone from outside of the usa. witch was what i got told when i asked to see if there was anyway to join as a wrestler. anyway they dont like people asking to join them i got a whole lot of bad mouthing from HBK one night becouse i asked him to do somthing for me nothing big just a easy thing. but all i got was i dont know maybe am not sure that i can do this or do that... all this and swearing as well. well since i most likely bord you by this lol. am just going to say i still fancy Lita and thats it.. but other side of it i agree with you and i guess ur right about some of it...

Johnny Nitro is a very good wrestler and I really wish MNM hadn't split up because they are one of the best tag teams since Le Resistance. But I can't really say it was stupid because Mercury is in Rehab.

Also Trish is getting pushed away from the spotlight because her contract expires soon and she is not expected to resign. Also I think that Mickie James is the best thing to happen to the women's division in the last coupl of years.

Gregory Helms is a great CW champ, too bad he doesn't get a match now that they scrapped Velocity

I like the look of the Pitbulls and I think that Kid Kash is good as a tag wrestler, even though I believe the way he wrestles could make him the next Jericho. They need to boost the Tag division on both shows a bit and I am sure Kid Kash could still be in the CW division and have Noble be at ring side like the mexicools used to do. Also I think the CW division needs some new faces, I can't really see Scotty 2 Hotty or Funaki ever really being a success again.

The Carlito and Trish thing wont last too long but I am very impressed with how much Carlito has improved as a wrestler, that triple threat he was in was an awsome match and performance.

Raw:

• DX pranks
• Randy Orton
• Divas
• Carlito
• Edge

Smackdown:

• Chris Benoit (injured)
• The leprechun
• JBL's hilarious insults to other wrestlers like MY CHEESEMO

ECW:

• Cant't get in AUS
• RVD
• Kurt Angle
• Cool atmosphere
• Hits are actually real and people aren't afraid to take any

Smackdown is really suffering now as Randy is gone, Kurt is gone, Benoit is injured and the whole Rey underdog champ is old. Also Henry and Khali going around injuring people isn't very entertaining. They have cut Velocity as Smackdown is getting little watchers so Velocity must get none. Also Eddie Guerroro is dead and they're trying to bring it back with the whole REY and CHAVO thing. Booker T was mad b4 he became King Booker. Raw is suffering because of Cena but Edge brings cockiness and hardcore to Raw and it used to be people booed Edge and loved Cena but now they see Cena is awful and boo him while Edge gets a fair few cheers (and his you cant see me thing he disses Cena with is great)

I wish ECW was in AUS as I love tables and they could put it in the Velocity slot since its cut.

Lets hope the game is great

well, as a life long wrestling fan i will say that invasion was the best thing that ever happened after that, everything began to fail. stars left and there was no one to take up their roles. all of the magic of wrestling that was alive before invasion started to disappear. now there's just nothing there. i mean tna is at least exciting, it's like how ecw was when it first came out. it's the little show compared to wwe so they do what they have to do to make you want to see it. why the *** did vince bring ecw back? i knew it would be trash once i heard of it's revival. think about it, what made ecw good? it was how they couldn't get airtime cuz the stations thought it was too real, too extreme. you won't see anyone being crucified on this ecw, no mass transit incidents in this ecw, how can you have ecw without the dudleys? without rhyno? wtf is this? put tough enough back on already, that is wayy more exciting than wwe storylines. wtf vince? give hogan a break, i love the guy to death but i'm afraid that if he does one more leg drop he's gonna break something! the rock was sposed to take his baton but he left you. oh well get another guy. and give lashley a shot at a big title plz! the biggest man i've seen since the times of the ultimate warrior and he's being beaten by the ancient fit finley and a leprechaun. wasn't his first month of wrestling featherweights good enough?

If you're looking to become a wrestler in the United States I recommend checking out "Ring Of Honor". TNA & WWE from what I've read both take interest in finding wrestlers there. If you could get accepted by TNA I don't recommend taking as I also read WWE is just trying to make sure TNA doesn't make more good wrestlers.

 

Also working with WWE means you'll most likley start in "Ohio Valley Wrestling"  or their "Deep South Wrestling". Honestly though I don't recommend WWE training at all with out training from a well known & respected wrestling school. Talent from OVW has been known to be rushed into WWE.

Examples

• The Heart Throbs
• The Dicks
• The Boogeyman (rumor had it he might have lost his teeth in training or knocked them out himself)
• The Great Khali

Also IMO it seems it's a bad idea to be a tall body builder with out real good training. The stronger you are the more likley you are to *** up.

 

& look out for soda... you don't want to make or become the next Droz... No offense to Droz...

I've watched WWE/WWF since i was a toddler and sure there is alot of $h!t in it but i've always liked it and i always will.

I think it's time for a new WWE champion, Cena has worn it out. It should start sometime before Wrestlemania, possibly the Royal Rumble Winner. I think it's time to give Ortan another shot at being a world champion, i know he sucked as World Heavyweight, but then it was too early for him. A rivalry between Cena and Ortan that ended Cena's title reign and begin another, would be interesting.

Another thing i would like to see is a heel/bad guy that doesn't cheat to win. He could be arrogant, cocky, an ***, etc... but he can back it up. The perfect persona would be Ortan or Kennedy, they think they're all that and maybe one should be (if not two).

And they should stop with all the $h!t storylines. They could do better they're just lazy.
