Story: With the Overlord from the first game being trapped in the Abyss, at end of the Raising Hell expansion, you play as the Overlord's son.  In the Overlord's absence, the Glorious Empire - a Roman-style world of discipline and order - has taken over the land is trying to rid the world of any traces of magical creatures.

Mounts: There are 4 different varieties of mounts for your minions.  The Browns ride on wolves, the Reds charge around on flame-spewing salamanders and the Greens scuttle up and down walls on spiders.  There was no mention of what the Blues mount is.

Tower: As posted earlier in this thread the Tower has been replaced with a Netherworld domain with your tower now as a hanging downward spire.  You'll have a selection of mistresses.

Minion Revival: You'll be able to revive your favorite Minions from a Cannon Fodder-style graveyard.

Gameplay: You'll be directing your minions into battle with formation-obsessed Empire soldiers, over-running mighty siege engines and hurling rocks into ramparts.  Whether in snowy Nordberg, day-glow Fairlyand or classical Club-Med Everlight, each area can either be destroyed for instant magical bonuses, or dominated for more long-lasting and slow-burning power.

I work at Movie Gallery and I looked up Overlord 2 to see if there was a date for it yet. Our computer has it down for June 2009. Don't remember the exact date, but I'll look again the next time I go in and post the date we have.

I work at Movie Gallery and I looked up Overlord 2 to see if there was a date for it yet. Our computer has it down for June 2009. Don't remember the exact date, but I'll look again the next time I go in and post the date we have.
