Everyone knows the 256s are mods or cloned from a modded account from signing in and out etc...
its still cheating and microsoft and bootblack need to go through the story mode leaderboards and start
doing something about the first 1100+ accounts with -1 exp or 256 levels
Seams no one from microsoft cares but if we get enough replies here im sure they will understand and maybe fix the game/suspend or ban the cheaters

Level 99 is the level limit and if anyone is above it they should be dealt with

Just because this game is not halo 3, gears of war, or call of duty.. it shouldn't be ignored

Two of my friends did it just to get every character, and guess what i dont really feel like playing with them, much or at all with them. It ruins the fun for everybody.

If you do also do something about the necromancer or other character names that show up on the leaderboard even thou those character arent playable yet.

I'd love them too, and the community is big enough for them to listen 2. But sadly im pretty sure it wont happen. Because first, half the friggin leader boards are taken up by them, there are sooo many i dont know if they culd do it. Second this game is old, they are not going to waste their time with an old game that only 4000+ people play (i actually have no idea how many people play, just a guess lol). They are going to mess with Halo3 and GoW2 because they have so many more people playing.

this is one of the #1 selling games on xbox live arcade
trust me it deserves some respect and microsoft needs to clean the community up

There is a glitch to get all charcters weapons and animals. And also boost all their lvl up 256 which basically makes u have infinate health and magic and amazingly strong.

I jus went through a portion of the leaderboard, out of 904,250 players listed... well the first 10,000 players are all at -1 EXP. Any1 want to go to 20,000 and tell me if it still goes to -1?

Dang, it was only 3,000 last time I checked a few months ago. I can't believe there are that many people who are retarded like this. The game isn't even that hard and yet people need an invincible character to do everything for them. I hope every single one gets banned.

The game is unenjoyable because of these people cheating. When I play the story mode online its not fun because someone has a 256 character and just plows through the enemies. Or, when I play arena a 256 character deals a lot of damage to my character, a lot of the times they use magic repeatedly without stopping. It is really ticking me off. Please do something about this. Ban the people who have cheated for 6 months, or better yet ban them from the game. When they try to play the game it could say, " You have been banned from this game."

Dude I agree with what I highlighted in red. But the arena thing is definitely a misconception. In arena no matter what level they are even if they are 256. They always balance it out therefore if you are getting owned by a 256 in arena then you are just getting owned.

And TcG Justice, of course we can attempt to avoid the hackers but come on, the leaderboards are completely trashed.

This is probably the only reason I stopped playing castle crashers 3 months ago. Ah well... Hopefully The Behemoth's next game has these issues fixed because it is coming soon and I am really looking forward to it.

I really don't like the 256s either. I can kick them if I were host, but my patience for waiting for people is low. HOWEVER, while Microsoft is (not) doing something about these losers, I know how to paralyze/kill the 256s when facing them after a boss or in the arena. Throw them. Simple, isn't it? Stand in the exact place they are & press Y. Boom. Frozen. Don't hit them with ground melee or the boomerang. You can actually range them until they die. That's only if they don't exit to the map first. Have fun.

first off no one would be 256 if someone didn't use a hex editor to acheive 256
and secondly there wouldn be 12,000+ plus 256's -1 exps due to the cloning glitch
so anyone defending these hackers/mod/clones/cheaters etc needs to be banned
we all payed money for this game, we all payed money to play on live..
there are rules and obey them like the rest of the world...

There are not supposed to be cheats in this game. Also, there is no way to filter out a 256 from real players. I don't see why I should have my gaming experience ruined just because you're to lazy to play for real. Your playing differently has also ruined the leaderboards as a result.
