I just found this last night! I love it. I already had 30 out of 36 radio tags and 270 ores, but I got inpatient and sucked it up and looked at the map. It is awesome and even better since you can mark off everything you completed. Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I am guessing that the display is broken for non-IE users.
At least in Firefox the map is effectively unusable as you can't zoom without half the items moving outside of the map.

I use FF and it's fine. Basically the icons stay in the same place when zoomed out. When you zoom in they sit in their correct positions.

Ah I found what I did.
I moved around (grabbed the map with the 'hand'-icon) before zooming in.
After I did that the icons did not move with the map itself.

I wouldn't worry about the crates. There are many more than 250 crates, so you don't have to find every one like pigeons or orbs in other games. I just got to EOS and already have the achievement for 250 crates.
