I'd like to see Astropop, Feeding Frenzy and Jewel Quest finally get released.  Also, Burgertime would be sweet and an updated R.C. Pro-Am (Is this liscene still held by RARE)

Old School Wishlist

Games I would LOVE to see that would be easy to program:

ARCHON (this game ruled.  Sword and Scorcery characters on a chessboard.  When you move into the opponents square, a battlefield opens and you fight it out.  It's PERFECT for online battles.)

M.U.L.E.  hard to explain.  This goes back to the early 80s.  I had it on my Atari 800.  I believe it was put out by Electronic Arts in the early days.

QIX

Rampart head to head

Worms 2d!

Lemmings

I would like to see Arkanoid.
The original arcade version of Arkanoid would have made a great addition to Xbox Live Arcade.

Re: Arcade wish list

Something like x-com or a really good turn-based strategy game that two players could battle it out (virtual warhammer 40k or soething like it) with downloadable squadrons and such! archon was great but a little dated for todays gamer, but something in that vein wouldn't be too bad...

Golden Axe 1 &2

The original Arcade version of Ninja Gaiden

River City Ransom with online play

Double Dragon 1, 2, 3 with coop online

Heavy Barrel With coop online

all of the D&D arcade games (3 if I remember correctly)

Mike Tysons Punchout (any version though the super version ould be great!)

X-men arcade game

Powerstone

Dark Stalkers

Rival Schools

P.O.W. (obviously with online coop)

Duke Nukem 3D

Space Harrier (preferably the newer 3d version)

I can think of more, but this should be a good start...

Re: Arcade wish list
I do like the track that they're on now, and upcoming games like Wild Trax and Novadrome look pretty cool... as far as something classic though, man I'd love to see Sega's Virtua Racing through XBL Arcade with Live play, leaderboards and downloadable material that could include everything that's ever been created for it at one point or another...

Re: Arcade wish list
I don't think a true classic "beatable" game is/would be fun.  I saw contra etc...I can beat that game with my eyes closed. TMNT is the same way.   Games like bubble bobble would be a nice addition cause it's a 2 player game and levels could be added later on.

That doesn't make sense, on the one hand you say that bubble bobble would work because it's two player and it could be added to later.  On the other hand contra wouldn't?  It's two player and if BB could be added to, why couldn't it?

Re: Arcade wish list
contra has a definite ending to the game.  Bubble bobble you could add different modes, like timed mode etc.  (doubtful) but still....contra is pretty plain and a very easy game.
