Update:  This is an updated version of the previous thread.  Unfortunately we exceeded the character limit on the achievement guide, so the guide needs to be divided differently in order to fit in all the descriptions.  There are also a few minor edits to be found

Thank you for your continued patience.

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips

II Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the chest I find in the Tomb of Heroes?  What do I do with it?
A. In order to activate this chest you must go to Fable2.com.  There you will find the interactive "A Hero's Tale" story.  Eventually you will reach an area with three crowns to choose from.  Each crown gives you a different set of items that will be transferred to the chest.  Complete the game three times, choosing a different crown when prompted, to win all the prizes.  The crown options (and their corresponding results) are:

Good King- LIONHEAD Tattoo and a Hero Doll
Evil King- 'Nasty Expressions' Booklet and Pink Dye
Leave it All Behind- The illustrious Chicken Suit

Next time you connect to Xbox LIVE, the items should be in your chest.

Q. What is the difference between Purity/Corruption and Good/Evil?
A. In practice none, really.  Both determine how your character's appearance as well as how villagers will react to you.  The main 'difference' is the actions by which to influence the two sliders.  Good and Evil is determined by how you react to certain circumstances during quests.  Do you help the poor, defenseless widow find her son?  Or do you take advantage of her unfortunate situation, rob her, and beat her senseless.  Purity and Corruption are based on less bombastic actions and reflect your characters underlying moral compass.  For instance, driving the rent sky high is an act of corruption, while lowering it is an act of purity.

Q. Is it possible to go from one end of the moral spectrum to the other?  Can I change from evil to good, and visa versa?
A. In short, yes.  It is possible.  Doing so will, however, require a bit of work, especially if you wish to go from evil to good and corrupt to pure.

The simplest way to raise your good/evil rating is to complete quests using the corresponding frame of mind.  Instead of helping villagers why not slaughter them, kicking their hapless chickens along through the mud the entire time?  Or you could always help defend an upstanding farmer's land from bandits, as opposed to burning it down.  As far as purity and corruption are concerned, I find that adjusting the rent prices appropriately is the best way to go.  Go sleep in an inn for 7 days and when you wake up you should be affected...  Or if you're feeling particularly righteous you could always chow down on some tofu and vegetables!

Q. My hero is fat.  How do I make him/her skinny?
A. Eat celery.  As far as I know, it's the only way to lower your BMI.  Just a cautionary heads up, as well: It's a lot easier to become fat than it is to become skinny.  And when I say a lot, I mean a lot.  Especially considering I've only found one vendor in all of Albion that stocks celery (Bowerstone Market produce stall), and it's usually in quantities of... one.  This means that you'll have to go sleep for 7 days until he restocks his shelves with another lone peice of celery.  Rinse and repeat.

Q. Is it possible to get rid of my scars?
A. No.  You can, however, get the next best thing: Resurrection Phials!  These prevent your character from being 'knocked out' every time he/she looses all available health.

Update:
If you purchase the Knothole Island DLC you will have access to potions that, when consumed, will take away your scars.

Q.
My child is not aging.  How do I get it to do so?
A. In order for your child to age you must progress through 'Hero of Will' mission.  When you return from your ten year hiatus, the baby will have grown up.  Also, once you've completed the game, you may sleep for 7 days to get your child to age.

Q. My wife/husband left me.  Is there a way to track down my child?
A. As far as I'm aware of, no.

Q. Do STDs adversely affect my character?
A. Nope.  They serve no purpose at all, other than to provide your character with a little stamp reminding him or her of all the debauchery which has been participated in.

Q. How do I change my character's Title?
A. You can change your Hero's title by speaking with any Town Crier.  Each city has one unique title their Crier can offer you combined with the other standard ones.

Q. Can I have more than one save file?
A. Yes.  Just select 'New Game' from the main screen.  This will not delete your current character.

Q. How can I improve a town's economy?
A. Simply spend money.  The more cash you invest in a town, the more prosperous it becomes.  By the same token, don't run around jacking up the rent and slaughtering innocents.  This, as you may imagine, will bring the city's economy way down.

Q. When I raise the rent on property, I hear citizens saying they can't afford to buy goods or pay the rent.  Will this negatively impact me?
A. No, it won't.  The inhabitants of Albion just whine a lot...

Q. How do I increase my dog's treasure hunting/fighting abilities and/or teach him tricks?
A. You'll have to purchase books from local libraries or earn them through quests.  After obtaining a book, turn and face your dog.  You should see a book icon assigned to the 'down' direction of the D-Pad.  Press it and your dog will be taught the corresponding ability or trick.

Q. Is there armor in this game?  Or does you character just wear standard clothes?
A. Unfortunately, there is no armor.

Update: If you purchase the Knothole Island DLC you will have access to armor.  However, it does not offer increased protection; it's just for looks.

Q. Where can I find the Hall of the Dead?
A. The Hall of the Dead can be reached via a dive spot off the Bloodstone Waterfront.  I do not have the Limited Edition of Fable II, so, unfortunately, I cannot be any more specific as to its whereabouts.

Q. If I purchase the Knothole Island DLC will I be able to get my dog back if he died?
A. When you first appear on Knothole Island, follow the path up from the docks then turn left.  You should see a small cemetery.  Note the large mausoleum.  Now go find a villager and command him/her to follow you to it.  When you get close, the doors will open.  Lead the villager inside, cancel the follow command, then run back out and pull the lever on the side of the tomb.  This will sacrifice the person and get back your dog.

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips

III Achievement Guide

Story Achievements

These achievements are directly tied to the Fable II storyline and cannot be missed.  As such, and for the sake of not spoiling plot details, I will not go into depth describing them.

The Whippersnapper (25G)- A child Hero must collect five gold pieces

For this achievement, complete the 5 tasks in order to earn your gold from the Bowerstone sheriff.  The tasks are as follows:

Have your picture taken

Ransack the Bowerstone warehouse or clear the beetles out of it

Locate the drunkard’s alcohol (found next to the sleeping hobo in the alley to the right of the warehouse’s stairs)

Hand over the lover’s letter to either the mother (evil) or her daughter (good)

Locate all 5 arrest warrants.  Their locations are:

1. On the right side of the alley near where you save your dog
2. Near the sewer grate by the warehouse
3. Across from the warehouse (and up a little near the stairs) underneath the streetlamp
4. Complete the drunkards quest
5. After finishing the above quest your dog will signal that he's found it behind some crates

The New Hero (50G)- The terror of Bower Lake must be defeated

Defeat Thag the Impatient

The Hero of Strength (100G)- Complete the Hero of Strength

Help Hammer obtain the holy water needed to fertalize the Golden Oak.

The Hero of Will (100G)- Complete the Hero of Will

Rescue Garth from The Spire.

The Hero of Skill (100G)- Complete the Hero of Skill

Offer a sacrifice at the Shadow Court and help Reaver escape the siege on Bloodstone.

The Ego Maniac (25G)- A Hero must choose “The Needs of the One”

Select “The Needs of the One” at the end of the game.

The Family (25G)- A Hero must choose “The Needs of the Few

Select “The Needs of the Few” at the end of the game.

NOTE: This is the only achievement that will bring your dog back.

The Sacrifice (25G)- A Hero must choose “The Needs of the Many”

Select “The Needs of the Many” at the end of the game.

Combat Achievements

These achievements can only be obtained through fighting enemies.  I will describe the tactics I used to unlock them.

The Duelist (10G)- String together a full-speed chain attack, or see another hero do so

I personally wasn't able to do this until I maxed out my speed skill.  You'll also have to unlock the ability to do chain attacks by reaching strength to level 3.  It's difficult to time it right.  You will see a blue trail behind your weapon at the peak of the swing.  That's the time to hit X again.  It would seem easy since you don't have to actually land a strike for it to count.  Just find and open area that you can swing away in and practice.  It'll probably accidentally unlock when you don't expect it.

The Archmage (10G)- A Hero must kill five human enemies with one spell

Power up a Tier 5 spell (I used the fire one) and unleash it when 5 bandits step inside the attack radius.

The Sharpshooter (10G)- Hit three enemies with one shot, or see another Hero do so

The best way I've found to do this is to head to Wraith Marsh.  Once you are there you are bound to encounter a wraith which will spawn shadowed ghosts to attack you.  Run around and let them build up a small army.  Use the blunderbuss, legendary or otherwise, and shoot the crowd.

The Teaser (5G)- Make bandits respond to expressions with fear, anger, mirth, and confusion… during combat!

This achievement may sound confusing, but it’s actually quite simple.  Here’s the strategy I used:

Fast travel to Bowerstone Road in Rookridge.  Continue along the path until you come across a group of bandits.  Kill all of them but the leader (the burly guy with tribal looking decorations on his back).  Now sub-target his arm and shoot the sword out of his hand.  He’ll pull out a gun; do the same for it.

Once he’s down to fighting with his fists, target him with the left trigger and perform one expression out of each of these categories- Scary, Rude, Fun, and Flirty.  The achievement will unlock after doing so.

The Black Knight (10G)- Shoot the weapons from a hollow man’s hands, blow off his head and then kill him for good

This one resembles the achievement above.  Sub-target the hollow man’s hand (hands if he happens to have two weapons) and shoot the weapons out of them.  Now target his head and blow it off.  Finally, kill him in whatever manner suits your fancy.

Miscellaneous Achievements

Miscellaneous achievements relate to content which falls outside of the other 3 categories and can be obtained by ‘living your character’s life’.

Menace to Society (5G)- Commit an act of public indecency, or see another Hero commit one

This one is fairly simple- take off all your clothes and run up to a villager.  Target him/her and perform the Vulgar Thrust expression.

The Gambler (10G)- A Hero must win 500 gold at a pub game in one sitting, or see another Hero do so

After you've played all of the pub games make your way to Westcliff to play Keystone.(that's where it was in my game but I've heard others suggest elsewhere.  If it's not in Westcliff, try Bowerstone Market or Oakfield.  I'm not sure if the game is different for others.  A friend and I were playing and his game had some vendors in different spots.)  Anyway on to the strategy, once you get into a game place a bet on any of the keystones to get started.  Then place max inside bets on the following... 4-9, 12-17, black, diamond, oval and red.  Roll the dice and assuming you land on one of the regular spaces and not a keystone they should all cancel each other out except the one you won with.  I don't think you have to actually profit just some time in the course of the game win 500 total.

The Party Animal (10G)- Get five villagers drunk in under three minutes, or see another Hero do so

To get this achievement, go to any tavern and purchase 5 bottle of alcohol.  After doing this, go to an area with a large concentration of villagers.  Simply give one bottle to five different people for the achievement.

The Swinger (5G)- Take part in a debauched bedroom party with several participants

Find at least two hookers and perform the Come Back to My Place expression on them.  Go to a bed, activate it, and choose Protected *** (some prostitutes won’t do the dirty if you choose unprotected).

The Pied Piper (5G)- Start a party where at least five villagers are dancing, or see another Hero do so.

Find a bard in a busy area (They’re usually found in or around taverns/inns [I used the one in Bloodstone]).  Pay him to sing a ballad about you and perform the Dance expression.  Hold the expression until the achievement unlocks.

The Show-off (5G)- Impress a villager with a perfect expression, or see another Hero do so

Target a villager and press “Y” to find his/her favorite expression (make sure it’s an extendable one).  Go to your expression wheel and perform the expression, holding down the “A” button until the green bar stops moving.  Now release the “A” button, timing it so that the moving sphere lands inside the green bar.

The Gargoyle (25G)- Find the gargoyle’s legendary treasure, or see another Hero do so

See collectible guide below.

The Hoarder (25G)- Collect every silver key, or see another Hero do so

See collectible guide below.

The Cliff Diver (5G)- Cliff dive 500 feet, or see another Hero do so

In order to unlock this achievement you will need to engage the “Treasure Island of Doom!” quest.  Once you’ve started the quest, you’ll have to go inside Sinkhole Cavern.  After walking a short ways, you’ll come to a drop off.  Press “A” to dive off it.  This nets you the achievement.

The Muse (5G)- Inspire the Bard to compose songs celebrating your great deeds

Pay a bard to sing a song about you.  Walk up to one, and when prompted if you’d like to hear him perform a ballad in your honor, press “A”.

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips
The Goth (5G)- A Hero must dye their hair black, and wear a black outfit and black makeup

For this achievement you’ll need Moonless Midnight dye.  It can be found by completing quests or purchased at any cloth/barber shop.  Dye everything on your character black.  Do this by going to:

Start --> Items --> Dyes --> Select what you want to dye

After doing this, the achievement will unlock.

The Illustrated Hero (5G)- Tattoo every part of your Hero’s body, or see another Hero do so

Purchase a tattoo for both the head and body portions of your Hero.  Piece of cake.  And yes, tattoos can be removed.

The Hero of Many Names (5G)- Change your Hero’s title, or see another Hero change theirs

For this achievement you’ll need to find a Town Crier.  They’re located in just about every major city in Albion.  Once you find one, pay to receive a new title.  However, there are free titles that can be earned by completing certain requirements, such as “Chicken Chaser” “King/Queen”, and “Shadowfiend”.

The Rogue (5G)- Steal something undetected from a building while there are people nearby, or see another Hero do so

All you have to do is rob from a cupboard or cash register while people are near… just don’t get caught doing it.  I got this achievement in Westcliff.  Travel down the road leading to the shooting range.  There will be a small hut on your left.  Walk inside it and steal something.  Normally, there’s quite a few people walking that road, so you should have no trouble obtaining this chievo.

The Paragon (15G)- Reach 100% Good or Evil, or see another Hero do so

Just do what the achievement description says.  Slaughter civilians, take the evil route during quests, and shoot bunnies if you want to be bad.  On the opposite side of the spectrum, make good decisions during quests.

The Extremist (15G)- Reach 100% Purity or Corruption, or see another Hero do so

Same as The Paragon.  Hike the prices up on rent if you want to be evil.  Or if you want to be good, chow down on some celery.

The Workhorse (10G)- A Hero must achieve a high enough chain while performing a job

Complete 10 hits in succession while performing a job.  I find that this is easiest to do at the blacksmithy.  Not much else to say.  This achievement depends largely on your hand-eye coordination.

The Artisan (10G)- Succeed at one job to Level 5, or see another Hero do so

In order to get this achievement, you’ll have to reach level 5 on any job.  To do this, earn the amount of gold required for the next promotion.  I find that the blacksmith job is the easiest to do this on.

The Property Magnate (10G)- A property must be sold for twice the price it was bought for

I bought a cheap house and filled it with broken furniture, sold it and bought it back fill it with 5 star and sell it again.  Make a note of what you buy it for.  Then put some 5 star furniture in there and go to the scroll on the door and select sell.  If the selling price is higher than your noted price sell it if not back out and add some more fancy furniture.

The Executioner (10G)- Sacrifice ten people in the Temple of Shadows, or see another Hero do so

Gain entrance to the Temple and make your way down to the Wheel of Sacrifice.  You’ll go through a brief tutorial provided by one of your slightly demented colleagues, and then you’re off to find human sacrifices.  To do this, walk up to a villager, target them, then perform the Follow Me expression.  Go back to the Wheel and the villagers will stand in the sacrificial circle.  Pull the lever to sacrifice them.  Depending on your renown level you won’t be able to have 10 people follow you back to the Temple at once.  This is not an issue, seeing as the achievement does not require 10 people be sacrificed at the same time.  Just go find some more people and bring them back with you.  Rinse and repeat.

The Romantic (10G)- Take a villager on a perfect date, or tag along to one.  Location and expressions are all important.

In order to complete this achievement, find any random villager that is attracted to you, target them, and press “Y”.  This will display their likes and dislikes.  Look for a villager who’s favorite location, expression, and gift is displayed (as opposed to 2 expressions and 1 gift, or any combination like that).  Take the person to their favorite spot, give them their favorite gift, then perform their favorite expression.  This will unlock your achievement

The Spouse (10G)- Marry a villager, or attend the wedding or another Hero

Self explanatory, really.  Get a villager to fall in love with you and propose to him/her.  After that you’ll need to purchase a house.  Once you designate it as your marital home the achievement will be unlocked.

NOTE: If a villager is rejecting your marriage proposal, try purchasing a ring with higher stars.  Higher class citizens will demand more stars- prostitutes accept 1 star, with the number increasing as you rise in class status until you reach aristocrats, who require 5 stars.

The Bigamist (10G)- Get married a second time, whilst already married, or attend the second wedding of another Hero

Propose to a second man/woman while currently married.  Just to be on the safe side, I’d marry another person from a region that is separate from where your current husband/wife resides.

The Parent (10G)- Have a child, or be there for the birth of another Hero’s child

This achievement requires you to have purchased and used the “Come Hither, Dear” expression booklet (which grants the Come Back to My Place expression).  Simply use said expression on your wife/husband then lead him/her to a bed and select unprotected ***.

The Persuader (5G)- Convince a villager to give you a present, or see another Hero do so

You can tell that a villager wants to give you a gift when they have a thought bubble with a present in it above their head.  Simply walk up to them and press “A” to receive the present.  If the bubble is grey, you will have to perform various expressions to raise that villager’s opinion of you.  Once their opinion is high enough you may accept the gift.

The Chicken Kicker (5G)- Kick a chicken a good distance, or see one getting kicked

I’m not exactly sure how far “a good distance” equates to, so just find a chicken and adlib it.  You can kick one by walking up to it and pressing “A”.  If you do this enough the achievement will unlock.

The Hunter (5G)- Kill a sweet, innocent, fluffy bunny rabbit (remember, safety’s off!)

First things first: turn off the combat safety.  This can be done by pulling up your expression wheel and selecting the skull.  Now, travel to Bower Lake.  Find one of the cute, fuzzy bunnies gallivanting carefree through the fields around the lake, enjoying it’s simple yet pleasurable life. Now shoot it.  Achievement unlocked. I can instruct you on how to get this achievement, but it’s up to you to deal with your own conscience…

The Archaeologist (5G)- Dig up something the dog has discovered, or see another Hero do so

When your dog finds a dig spot, walk up to him and press down on the D-Pad.

The Pooch Pamperer (5G)- Play fetch with your dog, or see another Hero’s dog play

As the achievement description states, play fetch with your dog.  You’ll need a rubber ball to do this, which can be purchased at the Bowerstone General Store or dug up on the path in front of the bridge leading to the gypsy camp.  Simply press down on the D-Pad to throw the ball.

The Dog Trainer (5G)- Teach your dog a trick, or see another Hero’s dog learn one

In order to get this achievement you need a dog trick booklet.  They can be found by completing a myriad of quests or they can be purchased from the Bowerstone Book store.  To activate it, do the following:

Press “Start” --> Items--> Books/Documents --> Select the training book --> Press “A”

Ruler of Albion (100G)- Amass a 2.5 million gold real estate empire, or be there when another Hero does

NOTE: This achievement does NOT require you to own every property in Albion, just a substantial portion of it.

I unlocked this achievement by purchasing all of Oakvale, all of Bowerstone, all of Westcliff, the Gypsy Camp, half of Bloodstone, Castle Fairfax, Bloodstone Mansion, Cemetery Mansion, and Brightwood Tower.

I find that the houses in Bowerstone Old Town aren’t worth very much, and therefore slow your progress for this achievement.

The Celebrity (50G)- Reach 50,000 renown, or see another Hero do so

Again, this is one of those chievos that sounds hard, but actually isn’t.  50,000 renown really is not that much.  Just complete every quest you can and you will eventually achieve it.

The Completionist (50G)- Get all expressions, pet tricks, and abilities, or see another Hero do so

You begin the game with some of the expressions.  Most of the rest are learned from books purchased at the bookstore in Bowerstone.  Making your way to 100% Evil and Good and to 100% Corruption and Purity will net you the others.  I've read that you don't need the ones from the Pub Games or the website for the achievement to unlock but I had them for my achievement.  The pet tricks are mostly found in the store in the forms of books.  You will also need to fully upgrade all of your skills, to do this later in the game you are able to purchase 5 star XP potions which give you a significant amount of XP.  Buy them sleep and buy them again until you are full.  Don't concentrate on this too much as you will find most of the items and XP throughout the course of the game.  After that I'd recommend looking at the detailed list here.

Online Achievements

Online achievements can only be obtained by playing cooperatively with another player.

The Philanthropist (10G)- Send a gift to an Xbox LIVE friend, or watch another Hero send one

Send an item from Fable II to somebody on your Friends List that has the game.

The Double Thread (10G)- Get a co-op combat bonus

From what I understand, this requires you and your friend to attack and kill an enemy at the same time.

The Companions (10G)- Perform a perfect co-op expression

Both you and your friend need to target a civilian at the same time, pick an expression (must be the same for each of you), and let up on the slider at the same time.

The Dollcatcher (10G)- Collect all the Hero dolls, or see another hero collect them

For this achievement you need to have every single Doll in your possession.  For information and help on this achievement, please visit THIS THREAD.

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips

IV (Pt. 1) Tips and Tricks

Here are a few quick tips that I personally found very helpful:

Upper Tier Spell Charge Times- This tip pertains to the issue of long charge times for Tier 4 and 5 spells.  As you power up your Will, your character is susceptible to any and all attacks.  That can turn into a problem with the more advanced spells, due to their long charge time.  Luckily, there's an incredibly simple way to bypass this: Time Control.  I highly suggest that any Will aficionado invest in the first two tiers of this spell.  When cast, a 2nd level Time Control charm will keep time slowed long enough to almost completely charge up any Tier 5 spell, and completley charge up a Tier 4 one.

This translates to less beatings for your character to endure.  Simply run off to a safe distance, cast the spell, then charge up any high Tier enchantment you please!

Use the Raise Dead Spell Wisely- This spell is most effective when used near recently defeated enemies.  The ghouls summoned near fresh corpses will be quite a bit stronger than those randomly snatched out of the ether...  In fact, I find that the spell is almost entirely useless unless cast near recently felled foes.

Manage your Guns Effectively- Guns are the most diverse weapon you will encounter in Albion.  Unlike their hand-to-hand and magic flinging counterparts, there are different guns for different situations.  My personal favorites are the rifle and the blunderbuss, and I find that they work very well in tandem.  The rifle is fantastic for precision targeting and picking foes off from a distance (I prefer Clockworks, as opposed to the Turret load out, due to their lack of reload intermissions during fire), while the blunderbuss can be whipped out when combat gets uncomfortably close.

Here is a strategy I frequently use: When you see a group of enemies, whip out your rifle and start picking off the enemies from afar (this may even be supplemented by a Time Control spell, if you have access to it).  Try to decapitate your foes using sub-targeting.  Doing this will greatly reduce the number of rounds you empty into a baddie, thus making it unnecessary to reload as often.  When the remaining enemies close in, shoot them with your blunderbuss.  This should knock them back several steps, while at the same time inflicting substantial damage.

Watch Albion's Economy- Albion, like any nation, has a working economy.  Make sure you're using it to your advantage.  Take note of when stores have sales; you can often save a lot of money by doing so.  Also, take the opportunity to stop by a town suffering from shortages.  Look around to see what's in demand and out of stock, and you might just be able to sell some highly coveted items at an increased price.

The player may also want to look into investments in the property industry.  Almost every building is for sale in Albion, so be sure to investigate the housing scene from time to time.

Utalize the Book Stores- If you're in need of an expression, dog trick, or just some leasurely reading, check the local book store!  This is a much quicker way to come by valuables as opposed to leaving it up to chance via questing.  And if the shop doesn't have exactly what you're looking for, go sleep in an inn for 7 days and come back to find a fresh stock.

Pay Attention to Your Dog- It may be annoying to stop at every single dig spot your dog encounters, but you'd be surprised what he can dig up!  By skipping over these areas you may pass up and extremely valuable potion, a mass of gold, a silver key, or even one of the few legendary weapons.  Your time is well spent investigating dig spots, even if it may become slightly tiresome.  And don't be discouraged by a long string of shoddy wedding rings or dog collars; the good treasure is there, it just may take a while to find!

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips

IV (Pt. II) Collectibles-

"Treasure Island of Doom!" Treasure Chest Locations:

1) When you land on Lion's Head Island, you will see a wrecked ship on the beach.  Walk over to the rusty cage with a skeleton in it and follow the path inside the craft.

2) As you circle around the broken ship, you'll have to cross a tiny stream of water flowing from underneath the vessel and out into the ocean.  Stop there.  After killing the Beatles, turn to the right a little bit and you should see a rock wall going out into the bay.  Swim along the wall.  Once you travel it's length, you'll come across a small island that was hidden behind it to your left.

3) Go back to the ship and walk around it like you normally would, progressing up the hill the whole time.  When you're just about to reach the top there will be a small path with a lone tree beside it to your left (if you reach the waterfall area you've gone too far).  Attack the bushes and vault down ontop of the boat.  Upon getting the treasure, jump down and go all the way back around and up the hill.

4) When you get to the cliff above the waterfall oasis, DON'T JUMP DOWN.  Instead, turn slightly to your left.  You'll spot a small outcropping which holds a vine covered chest.  From there jump down into the lake.

5) On the small island in the middle of the lake there will be a dig spot with another treasure.

6) Look behind the tree for the 6th bag of gold.

7) Turn around and face the cliff you just jumped off of. Turn left; there will be a dive spot with a piece of treasure.

8) Face the cliff you jumped off again.  Now begin to turn right instead, making note of the number of waterfalls you see.  Behind the 3rd waterfall is a small grotto housing a chest.

9) Continue on your merry way up the cliff and into a cave with Beatles hanging on the wall.  After killing them, destroy the wooden wall on your left to find the treasure.

10) Exit the cave and vault down onto the ledge below.  The 10th and final chest is on your left, making for a nice 15,000 gold piece profit!

Enforcer, The- Found in the cellar of Gile's Farm.  If you're good and did not kill him, you can buy the house and receive a key to the area.  If you were bad and did kill him, search his tombstone and you should find the key.  Go through the cellar, fighting beetles and/or bandits until you come to the main antechamber.  There is a dig spot in there with the weapon.

Hammerthyst, The- Located in the Oakfield Demon Door (see below for how to open it).  Once you enter, follow the path when it splits left and go up into the windmill.  When inside, turn right.

Rising Sun, The- Begin making donations to the Temple of Light when you receive the "Donating to the Temple of Light" quest.  Eventually, a monk will tell you to make a large donation when the sun is at it's greatest strength.  After hearing this, donate 10,000 gold between 12PM and 1PM.  You will be gifted the weapon.

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips

Silver Key Locations:

Bandit Coast-

1) About halfway through the region (where the road makes an upside down 'R' on your map) and after you pass through a bandit checkpoint containing a chest with a Resurrection Phial and two Children's Health Potions, you'll walk past two large, stone columns resembling an arch.  There will be a vault spot on your left with a key.

Bloodstone-

1) Immediately after you exit Wraithmarsh, there will be a large tomb on your right.  Open the door to it and you will find a large statue making a pose.  Execute an expression which mirrors the statue's stance (in my two experiences, I saw the 'Blow Kiss' and 'Pick-up Line" BLOCKED EXPRESSION.  If you performed the correct one, the statue will lean forward and fall apart.  If you got it wrong, you'll be blasted a few feet back by a shockwave.  Now, once you've gotten the expression correct, exit the tomb and walk a little bit up the road towards Bloodstone.  There will be a cypt on the right with an open door.  Walk inside and open up the coffin to find a key.

2) NOTE: Keys 2 & 3 can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Treasure Island of Doom!' mission.
After jumping down into the waterfall oasis on Lion Head Island, make your way up the small path until you reach an entrance leading into a cave.  Turn to your right and jump down onto the ledge below.

3) Once you return from the island you'll talk to Salty Jack.  After wrapping up all the loose ends of the quest, make a right and head back into The Sinkhole.  You'll find that it has been filled with water and that you can now swim across what used to be a large drop off.  Do so and break open the wooden paneling to find a key.

4) Walk along the Waterfront pier to the second pulley tower at the far end of the docks (by the path leading to The Sinkhole).  Jump into the bay and you'll find see a dive spot directly in front of the tower.

5) Located in the cellar to the right of the furniture store.  As you walk in, turn to your right and melee attack the blue orb.  This will open the door ahead, allowing you to grab the key.

Bowerstone Cemetery-

1) There is a key inside the fireplace on the third floor of 'The Cemetery Mansion'.

2) Right before you reach the large mausoleum at the southern most point of the map you'll have to walk up a few stairs. To the left of them are three tombs on a hill.  The far left tomb houses a key.

3) In the Northwest area of the map is a man who offers you civilian displacement missions.  To the left of him is a shed with a clock on it.  The key is inside that shed.

4) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by progressing through 'The Cemetery Mansion' mission.
After finding The Stone of Myr'Bregothil you'll make your way up a small ramp and past two cracked walls.  Break open the one on the right to find a key.

Bowerstone Marketplace-

1) To the left of The Cow & Corset bar this a small alley.  As you walk down it your dog will signal that he's found a dig spot.  When you select the dig action, you'll uncover a silver key.

2) There's a large river that runs through the Marketplace.  Jump down into it and swim to the side with the shanty huts.  Now face North and swim as far as you can in that direction until you reach some docks, hugging the rock wall the entire time.  Swim underneath them to find a dive spot.  That spot will take you inside the locked room you may have observed when entering Bowerstone.  Grab the key in front of you.

3) You'll find a key in the cellar of the furniture shop.  Shoot the sphere in order to unlock the door and retrieve the key.

4) This key is found underneath the stairs leading to Castle Fairfax.  Follow the stone path in the courtyard behind either of Lady Grey's tombs.  Turn left/right, and then walk underneath the staircase.  Make another left/right to find the key.

5) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Love Hurts' mission.
As you exit the main burial chamber where you found Lady Grey's head, you'll go up two flights of stairs and enter a large room.  In this room, there will be several beetles that you have to kill.  There will also be a large staircase which is elevated off the ground.  When you enter this room, turn right and you will find the key.

Bowerstone Old Town-

1) Enter the warehouse and you should see a key underneath a staircase in front of you.

2) Go to the tattoo stall.  Now turn around so you're facing away from the Rookridge region exit.  You should see a two story house directly ahead with a key on it's 2nd story balcony.  Simply enter the house and walk up to the balcony to claim it.

3) There is a cellar across from the 'Helping Hand' house containing a key.  The house is located where you first encountered the dog and where your sister got attacked, if you recall where that is.

Bower Lake-

1) This is the first key you will find.  It's directly to the right of the entrance to the Old Tomb.

2) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Rescuing Charlie' mission.
Once you reach Charlie, walk behind the large statue on your right to find a key.

3) From the entrance of the Gypsy Camp, head straight ahead, past the oak tree, and through the fence.  Turn left and head that direction until you reach a ruined tower.  The key is on the top.

4) Go to the small pond located on the right-hand side of the large stone tower.  Turn around to face the treeline in the direction of Brightwood (or the barricade, depending on where you are in the game).  Now hug the cliff face to your left and follow it to the first tree you see.  There should be a key behind it.

I apologize for the vague description on this key.  I found it difficult to verbalize its exact location and the landmarks by which to identify it.  If you have any questions whatsoever, by all means post them and I will try to more descriptively point you to the key to the best of my abilities.

Brightwood-

1) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by purchasing 'Brightwood Tower'.
Go to the second floor of the tower where Garth activated the Cullis Gate.  Walk to the left of it and you should see a broken portion of the railing.  Go over to it and vault down into 'Archon's Knot'.  From there, progress along the linear path until you run past an expression statue and into a room with spike floor.  There's a key immediately to your left.  Solve the puzzle, then grab the silver key on your way out.

2) Transport to the Bower Lake Road section of Brightwood.  Head down the path and make a left at the second signpost.  Continue that way until you reach two horse statues.  The key is between them.

3) This key can be found in Farmer Gile's cellar.  If you did not kill him in an earlier quest, purchase the house to receive the porticullis key needed to open a gate in the cellar.  If you did kill him, dig it up near his grave behind the house.
Progress through the cellar until you come to a large, sand filled room with statues and fallen columns.  The key is to your left.

4) To the left of The Forsaken Fortress entrance a rundown, stone bridge.  Go up it, and continue around until you reach a bridge which has been cut in half.  The key is directly in front of you.  It should be noted that this bridge is located in the SW portion of Brightwood.  It is also the bridge that had a gargoyle on it.

5) Key number 5 is located in the southern most part of the bandit camp.  It's in a small alcove to the right of a large, iron gate (this is the area where you, Hammer, and Garth sneak through the back of Brightwood Tower).

Oakfield-

1) As you enter Oakfield from Rookridge, proceed down the path to your right.  Pass the carriage driver and continue on until you reach the next house on the right.  Inside it is a key.

2) This key is located in Echo Mine.  When you first enter you'll walk down a path and enter a large, cavernous room.  On the right side of the wall, behind some stalagmites, is the key.

3) The 3rd key is on the second story of 'Porridge Cottage', otherwise known as the sculptor's house.

4) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by progressing through 'The Hero of Strength' mission.
When Hammer opens the first of the three gates you'll be led into a room in which she fills her jug.  Your character is required to stand on a switch located on top of a large platform.  Behind this platform is a key.

5) To the left of where the Golden Oak is planted, and to the right of the 'Luminous Cottage', is a wagon with some hay by it.  The key is next to it.

6) On your way to the Temple of Light you should spot a key along the path.  It's kind of hard to specifically describe where it is, but really, you can't miss it.

Rookridge-

1) After jumping off the bridge, swim past the Hobbe Cave entrance and make your way to the wrecked ship.  Follow the sandy path until you reach Gemstone Grotto.  Make your way through the cave until you reach the one and only treasure chest in it.  In the room just before is a small alcove to the left with a statue in it.  The key is directly in front of the statue.

2) Right before exiting the Hobbe Cave you'll end up in a room with long stone walkways suspended above a misty drop off.  In the room before there is an 'X' haphazardly painted on the ground.  Your dog will signify it as a dig spot; dig it up to find a key.

3) You'll emerge from the Hobbe cave in a large barn.  Circle around it to the left and up onto the porch.  Follow the porch and it will lead you to a key.

4) Exit the Rookridge Inn from the back and head up to the mining depot.  Instead of walking in the opposite direction of the station building and on down the tracks, go the other way.  At the end of path, right beside the broken section of the bridge, will be a key.

5) Coming from Bowerstone, you'll eventually pass a wooden bridge leading out to a statue to your left (this is where you get the 'Till Death Do Us Part' quest).  The key is behind the statue.

6) While you're in the Temple of Shadows, hang a left in the Wheel of Misfortune room.  You'll end up in a council chamber of sorts.  There is a key behind the desk and chair on the large platform.

Westcliff-

1) The first key can be found on the beach area.  It can be found directly right of the ship captain and is located behind some crates.

2) Make your way to the southern Howling Halls entrance.  You'll come to an area with a watchtower and some huts.  In one of the huts is a key.

3) Continue on your way to the Howling Halls until you cross a large, stone bridge.  Walk past the small mound on your right and then walk to the edge of the cliff.  Note the silver key on a patch of land below you.  Jump down and swim to it.

4) In the Howling Halls, right before you reach Westcliff, you and Hammer will pass through a room housing a massive knight statue and a spiral staircase.  When you finish climbing the stair case you will come to a room with lots of alcoves in the walls.  The key is in one of them.

Wraith Marsh-

1) Follow your golden breadcrumb trail from the cage you start in, over the pond, up the hill, and to the area in front of a marsh surround by houses and with a well in the center.  DO NOT go into the marsh yet.  Turn left, and enter the house in front of you.  Walk upstairs and you'll find a key.

2) After progressing a ways, you'll end up walking down a small hill into a graveyard covered in fog with several ruined tombs and coffins surrounding it.  I *believe* the area is called the 'Elder Hollows'; a name similar to that should appear on your screen when you reach this destination.  After dispatching all the Hollow Men, turn to your left and look towards the tombs with their doors falling off.  The second one down will have no door.  Enter it and retrieve the second key.

3)  In the area where you kill the second Banshee, there will be a small trail to the right, before you get to the shack ahead.  Follow it.  Turn left and you will see the key in between some tomb stones.

4) NOTE: Keys 4-6 can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Love Hurts' mission.
After passing through several puzzle rooms, you'll eventually head up a large spiral staircase and end up in a room with a coffin.  Search the coffin in the middle of the room.

5) To the right of the above coffin is a key.  It's in plain sight, on the floor.

6) After you exit the Tomb, there will be a key directly in front of you on a ledge.

7) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by progressing through the main story arc.  You will have access to it after entering the Shadow Court and progressing past the corridor with the spikes shooting out of the floor.  Shortly afterwards, you'll come upon a room with a steel door, barring you from the path ahead.  A message will appear on the screen telling you to kill the Shadows (which are comprised of Hobbes, Bandits, and Balverines).  Upon doing that, the door will open.  Do not go down the path yet.  Instead, while facing the door, turn left.  Attack the section of the wall you are looking at.  It will cave in, revealing a small trail leading to the key.

Congratulations!!!  You've found all 50 silver keys in Albion!

Re: FAQ, Achievement Guide, Collectibles, & Tips

Gargoyle Locations:

Please note: All gargoyles require that your character have at least 2 stars in the 'Dextrous Styles' ability.

How to destroy the gargoyles: While facing a gargoyle, hold down the 'Y' button, set the gargoyle in between your reticule, and release the 'Y' button.

In order to access the Gargoyle's Trove, jump into the Bowerstone river.  There is a dive spot leading to the Trove about midway down the river, directly underneath the bridge.

Gargoyle Treasure-

10 Gargoyles: Dog Trick - 'Growl'
20 Gargoyles: A Potion of Life
30 Gargoyles: 3 Emeralds
40 Gargoyles: 10,000 gold pieces
50 Gargoyles: ...A rotten apple?

Bandit Coast-

1) Before reaching the bandit camp, the roadway splits in two.  Follow the left fork around the cliff wall and to a stone door.  Enter it to find a chest and a gargoyle on the left wall.

2) In the ruins where the bandit headquarters are, there is a tower to the left of the camp.  Climb it to find the 2nd gargoyle.

Bloodstone-

1) NOTE: This key can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Treasure Island of Doom!' mission.
After jumping down into the waterfall oasis on Lion Head Island, make your way up the small path until you pass a small waterfall on your left.  Spin around and slightly to the left.  A gargoyle will be perched upon a small overhang above.

2) This gargoyle can be found between the boathouse and 'The Knotter' house (check the name by activating the deed).  Look up onto the ledge.  There should be a gargoyle perched conveniently on a fence.

3) Run around the right of the boathouse and continue down the docks until you reach the first pulley tower.  Perched on the far side of it is a gargoyle.

4) From the tower, jump into the water and swim across to the right side of the bay.  You see a small, sandy area; swim over to it.  Once you reach it, look directly to the left.  A gargoyle is sitting on the rocks ahead.

Bowerstone Cemetary-

1) NOTE: Gargoyles 1 & 2 can only be obtained by progressing through 'The Cemetary Mansion' mission.
Unlock the gate to Shelly Crypt using the key you obtained by purchasing the mansion.  Now look up and to your left above the statue and carriage wreckage.  There's a gargoyle on a large tower above you.

2) After progressing through the Shelly Crypt for a while, you'll come to a room where you have to attack a glowing orb in order to create an invisible path over a ravine.  Once you reach the other side of the drop off, turn to your right.  There will be a gargoyle wedged in between some rocks.

3) From the cemetery courtyard (the area with the expression statue), progress forward up a flight of stairs.  Upon doing so, turn left and walk over to the mausoleum.  To the right of it is a tomb with a gargoyle on top.

4) Head up the next set of stairs and immediately turn right.  Above the large crypt is tower with a gargoyle on it.

5) Continue on to the tomb at the far southern end of the map.  Directly face it, then turn around to your right.  You'll see the side of a tomb behind a fence.  There's a gargoyle hanging off it's roof.

Bowerstone Marketplace-

1) The first gargoyle can be found inside the carriage driver's building, above a chest.

2) Swim to the side of the Bowerstone river where the shacks are.  Face the wall in front of you (where the path starts raise up) to find a gargoyle between two alcoves.

3) As you enter Bowerstone from the Bower Lake entrance, there is a path to your right leading up onto the town wall.  Once you're upon the rampart, follow it all the way to the right to find the 3rd gargoyle.

4) This gargoyle is actually inside the Bowerstone furniture shop.  Go up to the second story and make your way to the 3 windows which can be seen from outside.  Once you reach them, turn around to see a gargoyle in the doorway.

5) NOTE: This gargoyle can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Love Hurts' mission.
After entering the tomb, follow the path for a short ways until you need to vault off a ledge.  The gargoyle is directly in front of you.

6) In Fairfax Gardens, stand directly in front of Castle Fairfax and look up.  There will be a gargoyle hidden in a small recess above.  It is my experience that only a rifle can shoot far enough to knock this gargoyle down.

7) NOTE: This gargoyle can only be obtained by purchasing Castle Fairfax.
Enter the library, turn around, and look up; you'll spot a gargoyle. Simple as that.

Bowerstone Old Town-

1) There is a gargoyle located inside 'The Felling Residence' house, about halfway up the staircase.  The house is located in the alley behind the area where you and your sister activated the music box.

2) A bit behind the tattoo artist's stall is a large retaining wall with a set of steps going up it.  If you look up that wall, you'll spot a pulley tower above with a gargoyle on it.

Bower Lake-

1) NOTE: This gargoyle can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Rescuing Charlie' mission.
When you enter the Tomb of Heroes, continue down the path until you reach a room with a small pool in the middle of it.  Continue through it and under the arch to the next room.  When you pass that arch, turn around and shoot the gargoyle on it.

2) On your way from the Gypsy Camp to Bowerstone, you'll cross a bridge that runs across from a waterfall.  Make a left when you get to the other side and walk in between the first two oak trees you see.  Now turn left and walk to the edge of pool above the waterfall.  A gargoyle is hanging from that edge; shoot it.

3) Across from the Old Tomb entrance are some ruins.  Inside them and on an arch to the left is a gargoyle.

4) Near the Brightwood region exit is a ruined archway on top of a small hill.  There's a gargoyle on top of it.

5) On the oposite side of the archway there is another gargoyle on the top right.

6) Make your way through the Old Tomb until you reach a lake with some ruins in it.  Swim across it and continue up the path.  You'll reemerge above the lake next to a row of stalagmites.  From here, simply aim up and shoot the gargoyle on the roof above you.

Brightwood-

1) NOTE: Gargoyles 1 & 2 can only be obtained by purchasing 'Brightwood Tower'.
Head up to the bedroom on the top floor.  You should hear a gargoyle taunting you.  Look through the windows and shoot him.

2) Go to the second floor of the tower where Garth activated the Cullis Gate.  Walk to the left of it and you should see a broken portion of the railing.  Go over to it and vault down into 'Archon's Knot'.  When you hit the water swim over to the stairs.  Turn around; there's a gargoyle directly behind you.

3) As you exit from Archon's Knot you'll notice a treasure chest to your right.  After opening it, look at the ruined tower in the lake ahead.  There's a gargoyle hanging from it.  Shoot it.

4) Transport to the Westcliff Road section of Brightwood.  After arriving, turn left and continue along the path until you reach a ruined arch and a small pool of water.  The gargoyle is on the arch

5) NOTE: This gargoyle can only be obtained by progressing through 'The Hit' mission.
When you first enter The Forsaken Fortress, turn right and head up the staircase.  A little over halfway across the bridge is a gargoyle on a ruined tower.  Turn right and shoot him.

Oakfiled-

1) Across from 'The Sandgoose' bar there is a small, cobblestone bridge.  On the right-hand side of it hangs a gargoyle.

2) Circle around the side of 'Porridge Cottage' (otherwise known as the sculptor's house) to find a gargoyle.

3) There's a small lake directly below the Temple of Light.  Swim to the side that leads you to the Oakfield cemetary.  The gargoyle is hanging on the ruined arch to your left.

Rookridge-

1) Before entering the Hobbe Cave (and after jumping off the bridge), look to your right.  Up high is a gargoyle stuck between some rocks.

2) After you progress for a while in the Hobbe Cave, you'll walk into a room with some hanging, Gothic style light fixtures and a ramp leading up onto a second level (assuming you entered from the beach-front).  After killing the Hobbes, walk to the far end of the room where you will find a small nook in the wall.  There should be a destroyed section of railroad track beneath you, and a ledge above you.  Now, turn completely around so you're facing the entrance though which you arrived.  Look up.  You should see a gargoyle on a wooden beam (it will be the second, and highest, of the two).

3) Before you walk down the stairs in the Temple of Shadows, face West.  You should see some broken out stained-glass windows.  Walk towards, and up the stairs past the two statues.  Turn to your right, and look through the archway.  There you'll find a gargoyle on the wall in front of you.

4) When you enter the Temple of Shadows, progress into the room with the Wheel of Misfortune.  Make a left and enter the chamber with some chairs and an elevated platform.  Now turn back around and look above the door you just passed through.

5) Behind the Rookridge Inn you'll find some mine cart tracks.  Follow them until they run out and the path branches to the right.  Continue that way until you come to a second set of tracks.  Walk down them until you're parallel with the tower on your right.  Look up and you'll find the 5th Rookridge gargoyle!

Westcliff-

1) Follow the hillside path to the beach until you reach a flag about halfway down.  Look up and to the left a little to see a gargoyle hanging from the cliff wall.

2) Make your way to the southern Howling Halls entrance and pass underneath the large arch in front of it.  Walk up to the steps leading into the Halls.  Now turn around and look up and to the left to spot a gargoyle.

3) Coming from the Bandit Coast into Westcliff, there is a small grove to your left with a treasure chest in it and an archway in front (this is a fairly long walk from the region entry point).  Walk to the chest, then turn around.  A gargoyle is perched on the arch.

4) In the southern portion of Westcliff there is a ruined tower you can climb which is located near the log cabin.  From the top you can vault down onto a ledge with a treasure chest and the gargoyle.

5) This gargoyle can be found in the Howling Halls, after you fight the Queen Balverine and Hammer knocks over a pillar so you can cross the spiky moat.  Go to the right side of the room and stand behind the pillar.  Look up and to your right to spot the gargoyle hanging from an empty tomb.

Wraith Marsh-

1) As you first step out of the cage, turn around and look to the North-East.  There will be a small house.  Enter the front door and stop.  Look up and to your left.  There should be a gargoyle on the remains of a wall.

2) When you leave the house, follow your golden breadcrumb trail across the small pond and up past the first house on the left.  When you reach the top of the hill, there will be a large barn to your right with a dig spot inside.  Walk past the barn and to the small building in front of it.  Circle around the left side of the structure and you will see a gargoyle hanging on the side of the barn.

3) Upon defeating the Banshee, you will continue along the path ahead, to the left, and across a large, covered bridge.  On the other side there are some ruins.  Follow the path as it branches right, instead of left up onto the stone structure, to find a treasure chest containing a diamond.  Now turn around and slightly to the right.  There will be a gargoyle mounted on the crumbling arch in front of you.

4) After a while, you'll come to the 'Elder Hollows' area- a small hill leading down into a fog covered graveyard that is surrounded by ramshackle tombs and coffins.  After killing all the Hollow Men, continue down the path where you see tombs on either side of the cliff you're walking through.  You should end up looking down a path that leads under a large, stone bridge and onwards into a marshy area.  Once you get out from between the cliff walls, stop, turn around, and look up and to your left.  On the last tomb above you there should be a gargoyle.

5) NOTE: This gargoyle can only be obtained by progressing through the 'Love Hurts' mission.
After deducting your way through several puzzle rooms, you'll eventually proceed up a large spiral staircase and end up in a room with a coffin.  Turn around when you enter the coffin room and you'll spot the gargoyle over the arch you just came through.

6) NOTE: This gargoyle can only be obtained by progressing through the main story arc.
You will have access to it after Reaver has given you the Dark Seal.  Upon entering the Shadow Court, continue down the path until you reach a hallway with spikes rhythmically jutting out of the ground.  Sprint across the spikes; make sure you get your timing right!  Now stop and turn around.  The gargoyle will be hanging on the arch above.

Congrats on finding all the gargoyles!  Some of them can be a pain, but in the end the reward is well worth it.

Nice work, hopefully this will stop stop some of the pointless threads, especially about the chest in the heros guild.

That's what I'm hoping too, lol.  Unfortunately a lot of people are either oblivious to the stickies or too lazy to read them, especially in terms of Guild chest question.  I mean, I made a point to make it the first question in the FAQ, yet people still post threads about it.Indifferent [:|]

What do you mean "the others"?  There are hookers everywhere around Bloodstone, Westcliff, and Bowerstone Old Town (if you gave the criminal the arrest warrants).

Err... well that's more quest related (seeing as it relates to one mission with little import) and I didn't really want to do a walkthrough.  But if enough of you guys really want it in there I'll see what I can do.  No promises though, as I'm probably starting to get on the mods' nerves with all these edits.

I would appreciate it if you would actually read the FAQ before posting.  It's the last question.  Yes, if you purchase Knothole Island you can get your dog back.
