Erm.... most of what you're *** about had no affect from TU4 anyways....

I think it's the double EXP causing more BS than normal.

Really cuz i did great yesterday. It was hella fun. This update came out and the game makes me want to go to work hust to get as far away from it as possible.

But TU4 did change the smokes which in turn changes the way people play. All they do is throw a smoke at the first sign of trouble like a flaming homosexual. stun you from a mile away and move in for the easy kill. They should have just left that *** alone. Smokes were fine when the stun could be avoided 90% of the time. I also thought the patch did more to keep you away from playing with people from the UK and what not. Futher more what it should have done was instantly ban anyone with a rank 100 next to there name. I dont care if they got it legit which im not sure is even possible yet. Maybe a good banning would inspire them to get a life.

Epic servers are pretty bad when it comes to playing against people overseas and in Mexico. After playing for 2 hours today, I didn't notice any difference with  TU 4.

   Smokes should just provide smoke. I remember in Gears 1, I would throw smokes at my feet all the time to keep people from sniping, torque bowing me, or getting a lucky boomshot on me. Smokes are not meant to be used the way they are in this game. If people want to stun eachother, they should have added stun grenades. What a no-brainer...but what can we expect from Epic?

if a smoke can knock some 1 down it should be able to execute them as a joke as well then

Connecting to a match hosted in Europe from the US (and vice versa) often means a lot of lag.  Oddly enough, my first 4 matches today were hosted by:

1)  someone in Asia
2)  two someone's in Europe
3)  someone in Mexico

All three matches were laggy as hell.  After that it was all matches in North America.

None of these were going to get fixed in TU4. The smokes already made you cringe but only at certain times, now their consistent, wether you like them or not you can't legitimately argue that something is better when its not consistent.

Today I got stunned by the smoke, but the problem was that I was stunned longer than usual, so this guy just comes up to chainsaw me.

None of these were going to get fixed in TU4. The smokes already made you cringe but only at certain times, now their consistent, wether you like them or not you can't legitimately argue that something is better when its not consistent.

there are a lot of inconsistent things in this game (shotgun, headshot hit detection, etc.) but the stun smokes were usually consistent before. they just only stunned u if you were walking or standing still, which was better. you could avoid them 90% of the time. now the stupid things stun you no matter what. the new stun can be inconsistent. Host and bots regain movement ability before most others do.
