What annoys you the most while playing the game?


The Survivor AI is terrieble for me. They always stand there and yell "Frank!" and just sit there as the zombies devour their skin, while I'm yelling at them to get their asses in gear and come to my location to save themselves!

It's been a long time since I played this game, but I remember how frustrating that was. I also remember how happy I was when I discovered that you can set waypoints for them to go to. Set the waypoint as far away in the direction that you want them to go, and they'll start running there. Follow them to the waypoint while clearing a path. It works much better than them following you, since they have an exact destination to go to. Once you reach the waypoint, set another one and another until you reach the safe room.

Yeah, definitely one of the most annoying things. I don't really like the save system too much either because once you try to restart that mission, that all of your surviors were killed you would start back at the last save. I'm not one to save too often so its like doing 2 missions over again because I forgot to go to the bathroom.

I agree. You give them a weapon and they only use it once before yelling. They can't take care of themselves. Forget Frank the Pimp, it should be Frank the Nanny.

I have the same problem too . Effing Aaron kept getting stuck and yelling Frank when i gave him a shotgun . A funny way a survior died on me was a zombie chick 69ing him and eating him out .

yeah AI annoys me but its also lack of life when you first start and that it take only 4 hits by a zombie then your dead

Hmm the AI is bad although you can give them your items which are going to break and they can keep using it forever.

I also find the scope timing annoying.
I think I need to restart my game coz I went to do some side quests and the scoops for the cases expired.........

And there was also once when I died and then I tried the save and load option only to have my character start from day 1 but with my levels.

Oh yea the only one save slot is also damn annoying.

Im annoyed by how boreing the game is when your a lv 50

Survivor AI, how quickly weapons break, size of text on the screen and boss fights...  now don't get me wrong, I am not complaining that the boss fights are so badly out of whack they aren't doable... they are just a tiny bit overpowered, at least for the earlier levels of Franks life.

Still doable, but with the other 3 issues, can get a tad fraustrating.    Particularly Carlito, in his damn van, on the bomb gathering case :(

I have two that annoys me like no other . When I was going for the true ending and Unbreakable achievement effing that fat *** Kindell shot at me when i had one bar of life left after i had been hit by a zombie or he shot the canister and killed me by the explosion -_- . My second one is when in infinity mode you can't check your watch to see how many hours have passed by and have to enter a new area to find out how many hours have passed . God I hope i don't get bored for doing these two achievements . T_T

Hitting X+A to attack and it not working can be a pain.

lol that too. His voice is annoying too...but on topic, the survivor AI is really annoying at times. I noticed that if you break a window in a store the survivor will not go out the window. Even if the entrance is blocked by zombies the AI will try and get through them. Super lame.

I know what you mean, you have to baby sit them all. I undestand they are being swarmed by zombies, but they can't even fight right and end up getting corned.

Well I've just come back to this game after a long break from it (hoping to get saint and transmissionary) and one of the annoying things not mentioned so far is the lack of a quit option. I've no idea why it won't let you quit to the main menu from the game. When going for saint and you make a mistake that will cost you too much time it seems that you need to quit to the dashboard and restart (or perhaps let yourself get killed then reload).

As for the AI, some survivours are pretty dumb but others are pretty handy if you give them a good weapon like the shotgun. The pathfinding does let them down - at times they get stuck behind doorways or even each other. You end up having to give them a whack to get them back on track - at least if zombies don't path correctly it actually makes them seem more convincing!

I completely agree with you about not being able to quit to the main menu if something goes wrong. It's a big hassle and it takes forever when I have to let a zombie chew me up so I can start over.
