It occured to me the other day: it's often been asked whether players prefer to go clockwise or anti/counter-clockwise around the screen, though that was predominantly in the previous game's forums but this as far as I'm aware is a question that hasn't been asked all too often, if at all.

Are you right-handed or left-handed?

Perhaps we could draw some fun/interesting conclusions from this?

Also, for further analysis and possible trend identification, post your preferred direction of travel too.

Righty, counter-clockwise.  Interesting that you fly in different directions in each mode, BLACKMACH1NE.  I used to as well, but have been strictly CCW for a while now.

I'm right handed, although I can go both CCW and CW (I can also fliip it at any point in the game aswell). It just happens that I prefer going CCW :)

I should also have mentioned that like JDog I can go both directions, but prefer CCW.  I sometimes find myself forced to go CW in Evolved but will then switch when I have the chance.

Yeah, pretty much the same here. I experimented a little back in my Deadline days and tried to become an ambi-clockwise player but I play MUCH less aggressively when going clockwise, obviously because I don't feel as comfortable with it. I can do it but am not nearly as efficient, which is rarely a problem in Evolved but could be in Deadline. I guess I could've achieved true ambi-clock status had I carried on but it's no big deal, really, as long as you're able to temporarily do it.

they are my fav modes.The funny thing is Deadline is the most played mode I do and its not highest score on the leaderboard  from all the other modes.

Wow after reading all these us clockwise players are in the minority. Its just an old habit from the first Geometry Wars really, as in that game you could pretty much pick a direction and stick with it.

While my default is always to go clockwise, I don't feel nearly as uncomfortable going counter-clockwise anymore, and will when I have to, but like others will always revert back when I get a chance.

Im also right handed, so there is no correlation there.

Counter-Clockwise... although in Evolved I can usually go the opposite direction if there's too much blocking my way - but as soon as possible I will try and revert back to CCW.

Yeah, because you failed to answer the first question, you clearly have no hands and going zig zags with your feet due to having little control with them might lead you to die a lot.
