1. How much does the Crash Course DLC cost?

The Crash Course DLC costs 560 MS Points, which is $7 (USD).

2. What is the file size of Crash Course?

Surprisingly, only 84 MB. Almost everyone should easily have room to store this.

3. What content is included with Crash Course?

This two chapter campaign includes Co-op, Survival and Versus action, and ten new achievements.

4. What new achievements have been added to the DLC?

10 achievements have been brought into the Crash Course DLC, equaling a total of 250 Gamerscore points:

• Crash-proof - 15G
• Survive the Crash Course Campaign.

• Quick Power - 25G
• Restart the generator within 30 seconds of it shutting off in the Crash Course campaign.

• The Littlest Genocide - 25G
• Kill 5,359 Infected in the Crash Course campaign.

• Smash Hit - 25G
• Win a Versus campaign of Crash Course.

• Truck Stop - 35G
• Your team wipes all Survivors after the escape vehicle has opened in Crash Course.

• 20 Car Pile-up - 20G
• As a Tank hit 20 Survivors with a car in the Crash Course campaign.

• Jumpin' Jack Smash - 25G
• Pounce a Survivor for 25 points of damage in the Crash Course campaign.

• Slippery Pull - 25G
• Smoker pull a bile-covered Survivor until you hold him during Crash Course.

• Tank Stumble - 20G
• Stun a Tank with an explosion in the Crash Course campaign.

• Wipefest - 35G
• Your team incapacitates three Survivors within five seconds in the Crash Course campaign.

5. I accidentally deleted/stopped my download - what do I do?!

Okay, don't panic; follow these steps to re-download any content that you've previously purchased for free:

• Press the Xbox Guide button.
  
• Scroll far-right to the Settings category
  
• Select Account Management ->
  
• Select Download History ->
  
• From here, you will be able to re-download anything you've previously purchased (for free).

Also, made a mistake on the file size of the Crash Course DLC. It's 84 MB, not 86. I'll try to get that edited.

Same question.  Additionally, it is messing with the achievement status on the original content.(saying 25/20 with a locked symbol next to it, saying in the pause menu an incorrect score for the game (325/1200 when its more like 900/1200). 

I am really close to my zombie genocider achievement but I am concerned it won't unlock because everything else is so screwy.  Is there an update coming to fix achievements?

You could try clearing your cache until a new patch is released.

Nice write-up. 

So I downloaded this last night, got an immediate update (assuming for the cheevos and the likes).. As many have said this DLC is HIGHLY glitch ridden.  The biggest isssue I had was I had downloads going on in the background which I thought had ceased since I was playing a game, no as soon as one finished and the pop up notice happened the game restarted.. I read on Steam's Webstite that a patch was made to fix many of the 360 and PC glitches.. Any thoughts at this point since I think that patch was also the update now in retrospect?

Silly question here! I have never played Left 4 Dead but am considering getting it to get me up to speed for the release of Left 4 Dead 2 which I think looks great.  The Crash Course DLC has two new chapters..........can these chapters be played in campaign (solo) only or do they have to be played in Co-op?

Campaign and Survival Mode can be played by yourself, or in Co-op. Versus is the only game mode that requires more than one person to play.

Any news on an update for this? I've done eveything required for the new achivements, but I still havnt gotten them. I should have the ones where you stun a tank, turn on the generator within 30 seconds, win a versus match, pull in a bile covered survivor with the smoker, and win a versus match. But I have yet to unlock them.

I follow you on this one; nonetheless, crash course is not worth it cause that would be the first campaign on LEFT4DEAD2 which comes out in November. Crass course can be a good map on expert but sucks on versus because people quit a lot which makes the entire system lagged. DLC? I think they are trying to make money but if we dont give money we don't receive it. I have played the game myself and I can tell that it is a disappointment due to the fact that more people leave their lobby room open and don't play which by the way should be also be voted in order to overthrow the lobby leader. Lag makes the game frustrating and annoying due to the fact that people might take this as advantage and win the much by cheating. If you have friends who like to getting on and kick it than it will be the best map ever otherwise I would stick with blood harvest were people actually know if you can play or not.

the same kinda happen with the normal achievement because people are using lag in order to get them. Also the connection is getting horrible because people keep on quitting; lets take into account that they are may people playing at the same time and places on the game that we are not supposed to go like laggy spaces such as once were "the jesus room" when this is done people create a hole on the game making to malfunction resulting in not adding up gamer scores and getting achievements.

I got tank stumble in co-op , just threw 2  propane tanks in front of the tank and shot it . It took quite a few games to get it , I had little genocide long before tank stumble , and shot tons of propane tanks right next to the tank, seems sketchy but it finally worked.


I tried the generator one numerous times on expert campaigns but never seemed to work even when I turned it on right away , so I gave up , took the easy way out and did it SP on easy with bots and it worked first try.

I heard Valve has a patch ready , waiting on MS approval , for a complete cheevo fix for CC.
