I think theres enough discussion about dashboard avatars that a forum specifically for avatars, the avatar marketplace and [eventually] Unlockables is a good idea. theres one other thread about this [obviously in another forum] but im sure there are plenty of ppl that wouldnt mind a consolidated forum.

if anything it would clean up all the other forums of random 'avatar stuff should be free' posts..

the only other forum i really want should be dedicated to Project Natal but thatll have to wait till the product actually has an official name and is launched sometime next year. till then ill settle for a consolidated place to ask questions about dashboard avatars and search for related topics.

I agree a avatar section would be nice.
Other than adding different hair styles to the store, they should also have user created outfits. I am sure MS can make a simple program that'll allow users to create the outfits and possibly have weekly contests to add in another "user created" outfit. So... every week you have a custom made gamers outfit you can buy. Possibly the person who makes it can earn some MSpoints.

 i like the idea of user created content but it would probably be heavily moderated. i cant imagine m$ letting us loose on avatar clothes and not having some say the distribution process. theyve got to worry about copyrights and obscenities and innapropriate images: if it did happen i can imagine most items wouldnt make it into the store and unapproved custom items would probably only be visable to friends..
