i liked both of the getaway games and i thought they were well done, not the same type of game though i just think you both are being very close minded, they dont HAVE to make any games and thus far they have made games that have appealed to you however if they chose to set a game somewhere else you should be thankful to have it, thats all im saying... dont whine some people wouldnt enjoy it, the games arent just for you guys

I agree they do it to make money. and I won't buy a GTA Europe. So if they want to keep making money they will make games people want to play. Now I am not close minded I like alot of entertainment set in the UK I love Spaced, the rest of Simon Peggs stuff, Ali G, Monty Python. They have the best bands like Beatles, The Who, rolling stones, Queen, coldplay. I like Douglas Adams and I am even going to be visiting London in March. So I am not close minded, I just really really think GTA in Europe would be lame. Just like GTA London was lame and I forgot about the Getaway and how bad it sucks.

Personally I think London would be an excellent location. No one else think some cockney villian from the East End would make a great protagonist? Not to mention all the different cultures you find there, along with the many different gangs with their many motivations....

I would perfer another Vice City or San Andreas but I wouldnt MIND a europe based game because we all know R* will do it right and make it a great game. Only place I think GTA would fit in Europe is Russia. But they did do a GTA London so they might go back there.

Wouldn't want London though as gun crime is not very high therefore wouldn't really fit the auto shotgun havoc of 4. But who cares. Whereever R* takes it, we know they will make an epic game.

You do relise that the GTA serires is made by Scots, right? And the core aduiance is not just from the States. I see no trouble with there being a GTA basied outside of the US. I for one would like ot see one in Scotland, it is there home after all. XD

USA stupidity never ceases to amaze me (not all of you). Why the hell would it be GTA Europe? You do know Europe is massive? BIGGER then America.. its made up of lots of different countries.. A GTA LONDON COULD WORK... East London... Americans aren't very educated in modern day "britain" as you guys call it. Gun and Knife crime is very high in London. There are proper east end cockney gangsters, plus imagine the extensive underground system, all the famous land marks... Sure it probs won't be chosen as a location, but you guys seriously underestimate how the game could be IF it was set in London. The rest of europe wouldn't work, as they don't speak english.

Don't know where you've got this impression from, the UK is one of the only countries where firearms aren't standard issue (the policy being that it is better to have a small number of highly-trained armed units, rather than lots of poorly-trained, gung-ho cops).
