Re: backwards compatible?
Here's hoping it will happen in the (near) future. I'm new to the 360 scene and for some reason I figured because JLH was a new game coming out it would work on both systems. Well that myth sure came up false. (I ditched my xbox too fast as well... however I wouldn't care if I hadn't bought the game)

I'm right there with you.  In the long run it would be in Microsoft's best interest to make sure any new games are compatible with the 360.  The console war is about to heat up and the more they can do to make sure we can play all the new stuff the better for them.  Although you have to wonder why a developer would release a new game almost for the original xbox and not the newest platform a year after the 360 was released and not work with MS to make sure it would play.

I really want to play this game, but like you I got rid of my xbox when I moved to the 360.

Right there with you. I really was looking forward to this game and just assumed a new game would be out of the box backwards compatible. I finally traded in my old X-Box for some moew games for my 360. I never expected a game to come out I would still need it for that carried the X-Box logo. Hopefully they will make it work and I can pick it up.

Re: backwards compatible?

Ditto with the rest of you...  (Though I do have my old system, I just don't have much desire to swap them out constantly and repeatedly.)

Microsoft needs to fix either this or the publisher need to realize that the Gamecube isn’t dead…  (Either solution fixes my problem.)

Well, I guess I can play this new game I bought when I go to my brothers house this weekend. He hasn't bought a 360 yet and I doubt this will do anything to push him away from waiting for the PS3. A new game from the same developer as Splinter Cell and they can't get an Xbox game to work on the 360 at launch of the game, sheesh. Back to playing Bully on the PS2 until I can exchange this game for the PS2 version.

I was really looking forward to this game when it comes out in the UK. I just assumed a new game would be backwards compatible. At least I saved myself a few quid by reading the forums.

I had to borrow my friends xbox to play this game after I bought it, since I traded in both of my xboxs thinking JLH would be backwards compatible. Do the xbox or microsoft people read this stuff and if not then who do we have to talk to for this to happen?

Glad to see I am not the only pissed over having wasted the money on a game
I cannot play, nor can I return since it is now open. Way to go Microsoft.

Re: backwards compatible?

Yeah, I did the same thing right before the 360 came out - since I heard it was backwards compatible, I bought X-men Legends II, Ultimate Spider-man, and a few others for the X-box instead of Gamecube, figuring, "I might as well get some games for this new system" and then they go and make SOME games compatible and not others.

It would be nice if at least NEW games, especially ones that will obviously sell well, would be backwards compatible from the get-go, kind of like how they did with Lego Star Wars II.

Here's hoping that backwards compatibility list gets updated soon!

I'm new here and came here because i have just brought this game and found that it was not backward compatible with my 360. I too traded in my Xbox for my 360. I have emailed the support team who deal with backwards combatibility and stated that Justice league should get an update. If we all do it they may respond to demand.

New update is out today but alas JLH is not on the list.  I don't know who to be more po'ed at - the company for not making sure all games that aren't being made for the 360 since launch are fast tracked for BC as close to launch as possible or the short-sighted game developers for not putting it out on both platforms in the first place.  Angry [:@]

I will add myself to the list. I still have an original Xbox but I am going to buy a 360 soon and I was very disapointed after renting the game and actually liking it that it was not on the 360 or BC. It really does not make any sense.

I was about to buy the game when I read this. Thank you for preventing me of expending 40 dollars. People from Microsoft should read what users are asking for!

Re: backwards compatible?

I agree - but I blame both MS and the developer for this one.  The 360 was out for a full year prior to the release of this game - why make a game for a system on its way out?  This should have been availble for both systems or the 360.

And shame on MS for allowing anyone to put a game out post 360 release for the original xbox without making sure it could be compatable with the 360 in short order.

Re: backwards compatible?

I am adding my voice in hope that this changes soon. I have had JLH for some time now, sitting by my game. I enter it in every once in a while hoping that the updates will be there, but alas, to no avail. How do we make this thing go faster?

Also, DC needs to create a Justice League Ulimited that is like the Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Man, that would be cool.

Re: backwards compatible?

Agreed - I enjoyed Marvel Ultimate Alliance even though I'm much more of a DC fan and I also have the game in my library sitting there gaining dust.  I'd love to see a DC universe game more like the MUA game with a huge cast of characters that would allow you to build the team you want to play.  From what I hear the backwards compatability thing has become less important the more time passes and I really hope this makes the cut before they stop working on it.

Is it over? Are there any hope left of seeing this game backward compatible, ever? Any news? Anyone?

Re: backwards compatible?
There hasn't been any news about when the next backwards compatability update will be released.  Usually it's once every 3 months and we've just passed that mark with no information.  It would be nice if MS would at least tell us something.   Angry [:@]

I wonder how they choose which game to work on next.

Sales? Complexity? Personnal developpers choice? Random?

Anyone else has ideas?

I'm not sure about how they choose the games they build emulators for, but I would not be surprised if this game was not supported until after the next update.

Re: backwards compatible?
I'm not sure why they haven't yet. I believe the game engine is similar to Baldur's Gate, which is compatible. I don't think the games require a full emulator as that is done in the initial update when you put an old game in. I'm not a game developer, so there's probably something I'm missing.

Re: backwards compatible?
This is ridiculous, this game has been out for forever and is still not on the list. How can they just ignore the pleas of so many people, especially when it was a "new" game after the 360 was released? This is really frustrating. I traded in my xbox for a 360 as well not realizing that this wasnt compatible, this game was really fun to play and I'm pretty dissapointed with this situation as it stands.
