Blitz N64 was the only original football game there ever has been and will be since all they seem to care about nowadays is Madden and NC and 2k whatever. There is no way I can take a football game seriously that promotes taking cheap shots.  I mean come on.  They should have spent more energy on trying to actually make a good footbal game with football strategy involved not just who can kick the other guy in the nutz the most.  This game will be crap IMO.

Ok here is what Romo says about the game. In his interview with IGN.

"I can talk smack, kick, punch, spit, knee you in the groin, and it's all legal," Romo told me over the phone, his voice becoming louder and more excited with every dirty trick. "This is my type of game."

If these aren't cheap shots then I don't know what is.

Romanowski came from a *** hole , Denver.  Anyone who has to put up with the BS their fans dish out to their own players would be lucky to not have fits of rage.  I have been to many games, and have never seen fans treat their own team, and ex teammates like such garbage.  To name a few, Shannon Sharpe, Bill Romanowski, Brian Griese, Jake Plummer, Zack Crocket, and so on.  I am by no means a Bronco fan, but I do respect the team.  They help make the Raiders, Chiefs, and themselves the Greatest rivalary in the NFL.  We have all had games online where we had our asses handed to us and just wished we could go in and drill the quarter back for venting reasons, and a laugh.  This game will serve that purpose, it will be more of a novelty than anything.  Just like the old BLITZ for the PS1 with Charles Woodson on the cover.  My only gripe about the game is I dont think it is neccessary to be so graphic with tearing joints and snapping bones.  Anyone who had seen Joe Thiesman or Naploeon Mccallum in their career ending injuries will no what Im talking about.  Anyway's, Romo at least appreciates his fans, he was always quick to take pictures and autographs, no matter what team he was with.

My friend's uncle (we have been friends for 15 years and I know his family well) played High School and College Football with Romo and he said that Romo is the biggest jerk he has ever met in his entire life.

Thats the whole point of blitz. This game is not a perfect world painting as madden trys to make it. (This is why playmakers was removed from ESPN.) Its about how the game really is. How the players act on and off the field. Its extremely over the top in some aspects yes. But its still a *** of alot closer to a football sim then madden is imo. *** they don't even talk trash in madden!

And when I say sim. I don't mean the strartegy wise. Clearly they are completely different. Blitz doesn't go for the realistic aspect there. *** the game isn't even 11 on 11.
