I bought a Japanese version to use on my hk version 360. The problem with my headset is that after I sync with my xbox, channel 2 light was on for both my console n headset.  However, the headset does nothing at all, no humming or buzzing, it seems to me that the mic is not working at all.......

#19 ...Mine just died, and boy am i pissed about it because Rainbow is in my tray and i wanted to play that game fully wireless, (by the way that game is sweet just what the X360 needed) anyways, i can't turn it on, or charge it, and it was working fine yesterday and now NOTHING, either microsoft have children in asia somewhere making these things or they are using cheap components and charging us big dollars for cheap products, WHATEVER HAPPEN TO QUALITY CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!

• on occasion, but muting and un-muting fixes the issue
  

everything works fine with mine accept the cutting out. i am good for about 5-10 min. then it cuts out for a second and back on. randomly does this and not for long periods. i hear the beep in my ear a few times an hour, and i am not even moving around. my range is pretty good.
