Just curious. I figure gamers would meet up here to challenge others and meet online, but being this is the only DOA forum, i guess we have to post here.

Anyway whos getting Doa 4?

Definately getting Dead or Alive 4.  They do that with certain games that tie together.  It's the same as how they don't have a Battlefront 2 Forum.  So because this game was out first and was a better seller than Dead or Alive 3.  I think they just thought "All the Dead or Alive fans can be in one area".

Its would be nice if they did make a doa4 fourm! GAH XBOX!

They should just be smart and make a "Dead Or Alive" forum, a "Halo" forum. When talking about DOA you shouldn't need to goto a specific forum if they don't have them all listed. What's the point of having an Ultimate board if you have a question about DOA3? Why not just make a general DOA board so anyone can ask about anything DOA. There's not much difference in any other games either.

Anyone know how many characters are in DOA4?  I heard 36 way back but that seems kind of high.  I am guessing everyone from 1, 2, 3, the Spartan, and I have seen 3 so far (one being Lisa from DOA: XV)

im definitely getting DOA4, really looking forward to it...

and my guess is they havent created the forum for it yet, because theyre waiting for the 360's/games release...once its out and theres actually something to discuss, making the forum for it will likely be a priority of the xbox staffs.

Your list is pretty correct because from the newest issue of Famitsu Xbox, we know that Spartan, Gen Fu, Leon, and Ein will be the guest characters. The last 2 question marks left for later this month. I doubt that Alpha 152 will be playable and it will be a badass boss. It shouldn't be another Omega because Itagaki also think that the creation of Omega was a fault.

Kokoro is so hot with her new costume from the new Famitsu scans, can't wait to try her out.

I seriously hope that one of the hidden characters will be Raidou, oh I've missed him so, and ever since I first saw the DoAU trailer I've gotten my hopes up he will be in a future game =D

I don't know if they will add the last guy into the game.  DOAU was one of the first unless you hacked the second version on Dreamcast.  (then again maybe the hardcore version had him, but three did not)

What I think V4R14N7 meant was the 'last guy' (on a per game basis), is usually not added to the game, since DoA3 didn't have it (as the only DoA game that didn't actually have it as a playable character), since both Raidou and Tengu are unlockable in respective games and remakes.

I think this forum should be renamed "Dead or Alive series" instead of "Dead or Alive 3" and a seperate DOA4 forum (which you know they'll make).

• I think the forum should be changed to "Dead or Alive series" to encompass the fighting games: DOA3, 4 and Ultimate. And "Dead or Alive Xtreme" to cover DOAXBV and DOAX2. Or maybe 1 forum for all 5 games. Unfortunately there's no one to "tell" that to. The webmasters don't read these forums, much less every thread - and they would simply defer responsibility to some higher-up giving them the go-ahead.
• Does anyone else think the last character could be Rachel? One of Christie's alternate constumes closely resembles Rachel's (or at least the poster suggests so).
• Jarel - looks like you somehow got a hold of the 360 on the 15th and have been gaming away ever since. Care to share with us how you pulled that off?

Actually I'm Canadian, so I won the Pepsi and Doritos Every hour contest.  Quite properly called Be First to Play.  I'm quite proud of my Achievements so far.

I currently have 10 tags with achievements sorted by gamescore. 2 of them (you are one, Kestrel's the other) are not MS employees.
I'm really excited about this launch. Hopefully my wife and I can pick up the desired number of 360s we need. 'won't be getting an HDTV until we get our tax returns back in late February/March. Which is just excellent because GRAW begs to be played in HD.
