hEH, what do you mean dont skip the credits? you cant...  You cant skip anything in this damn game. 
Oh it would be nice if I could skip all those cut-scenes the 2nd time around but noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.    The Hunger of Knowlegdge was a stupid acheivement. it makes it where you have to watch all the damn scenes. For the love of God ubisoft, please allow us to skip cutscenes in the next one.  For those trying for the Hunger of Knowledge achievement, I recieved it right before I had to kill Robert De Sade.. I pretty much mashed buttons during all of the cut scenes.

I just started playing this again, after 2 years of having the game, started back up in MB4. I killed William de Montferrat went back to masyaf, then to jerusalem talked with the bureau dude, and I have no way to get to the poor district to continue. Dude, I just picked this up again myself after not playing it for about a year & a half. I forgot how a big a F'ing ordeal it is trying to go back and find all these cursed flags!!! Ughhh!!! I gotta sit through that old guy droning on and on EVERY time I startup. Fallout 3 has obviously spoiled me rotten! Quick startups & fast travel! Oh, I'd give 1,000 throwing knives for the ability to fast travel in Assassin's Creed.

Anyway, about your problem... now I'm hardly an expert with Assassin's Creed, so there are definitely a lot better folks out there you could get help from, but I'll do the best I can. I assume it's not a glitch since you probably already tried reloading. Are you just trying to go back and collect the flags and things you missed? If so, try loading an earlier memory block. Once you get out into the Kingdom, you should be able to travel anywhere you like, assuming that you're in a memory block far enough into the game that all locations have been unlocked.

Hope that helps. If not, check some of the other forums. Particularly the ones with the most current posts (still related to Assassin's Creed obviously).

Oh, and if it makes you feel any better, I just finished going back and checking each of 100 flag locations in Damascus. I have 99 of the 100... AWESOME! This means I get to go back to each of 100 locations AGAIN until I find the missing flag. Which is actually the exact same thing that happened to me in Acre... f'ing ugghhh!!!
