Glad I could help, anyways as for the new information.
The FRS is for tuning your ac to your liking, like more energy, or to go faster than the boosters will take you. There's more than that, but the menu to use it is after the stabilizer menu. The stabilizers menu and the truning menu both have auto or manual. Auto will automatically do a suggested configuration for you. The stabilizers just balace the ac, you aim for center (0,0).
As the the raven rating list. There is technically one in the simulator menu if you press Y. You don't work up the rank, but there is still a list. You can also tell which ones are available to fight.
Schematics - no, you don't have to pay for them, you do have to pay for the parts if you want to use them in a mission though. Note: the yellow names mean that you don't have all the parts, the red names mean you need to unlock more frs or parts.
stabilizers - yeah, it's a little confusing, the easiest thing to do is to tell it auto, unless you want to make you ac look cool. you can see the stabilizers, but you have to remeber when you add one it can affect the weight, not by much, and the balance of the ac, which I have never seen a difference between a balanced and an unbalanced ac.
Radar - red dot means Mission objective enemy unit white dot means Secondary enemy unit yellow dot means Allied unit green dot means Player AC position or allied AC red square means Target to attack yellow square means Subject to defend
If needed be, destroy it. I found myself destroying everything I had in sight when I first started playing. Once I got better at it and started seeing how everything worked, I only went for what was important. Mainly after I had already beaten the game once, trying to get an S rank. Oh, there is moonlight sword, it's the strongest one. I believe you unlock it in Chapter 5 in Jardin De Chavalier, you fight a close combat ac in a closed space. Either go heavy firepower, or quick with close combat. As for the devastating energy charge, don't know, didn't even know about it in previous use, unless you mean an energy wave. Then I'm still not sure, I don't think so though. All the weapons are more powerful then they used to be though, but you also have more AP. There are a few weapons that can take out an AC in 1 or 2 hits though, depending on accuracy and the amount of defense the other AC has. The Kojima Weapons or the Cerberus Blade, not energy blade.
Hoped that helped.
ps. Ring of Death?
