My 4th 360 stopped reading disc June 21, 2009. I called Xbox Support and they said my warranty had expired on June 17th. Great 4 days late! I ask the CSR if they would wave the $99.99 service fee, and was told Hell No! HaHa. On the 22nd I order my repair and printed off my shipping label, removed
the Hard Drive and Faceplate , boxed it and shipped it out that evening. The repair center got it on Friday.

So I check and sure enough they are sending me back a referb. w/ a different serial#, I went to UPS web site and checked their info, which had delivery date set for July 6th. To my surprise I got my 360 yesterday July 3rd.

And it works!
Now my problem is because I was out of warranty and had to pay the $99.99 repair charge, I'm to get a new full 1yr warranty right! If I got my 360 on the 3rd of July my warranty should be until July 3rd, 2010 but when I check my info on Xbox.com it states June 29th, 2010.

Ok that is 4 days shy of 1yr, which is how many days out off warranty I was when I called Support.
