If enough people emailed him or contacted him about this - then its likely to be mentioned on his show which will bring it to everybodys attention and hopefully the issue may get resolved quicker.

sign me up this is the only game that doesnt work co-op for me online co-op is what sells the game and its broken thats false advertisement they should be made fix it or refund its broken for lots of people  

hey guys, I just got off the phone with Microsoft Customer Support, and it took a LOT of phone calls over the span of a few months to get my refund but I finally got it. It took threatening to cancel my account to get them to refund me the points. Just remember to speak to a supervisor and make canceling your account the LAST resort.

I'll try calling Customer Support back tonight.  This will be my 7th call to them.  All for a measley 800 MS points.  I hate that automated guy you have to get when you first call there!

I feel you. Quite honestly the whole situation really did make me want to cancel my account and I probably would have. I DON'T like when a customer service rep lies to me, tells me I cannot recieve a "refund" of MS Points, and then goes back on what they say when I threaten to cancel my account.

SIGNED I have had the same problem. I bought the game when it came out and have NEVER been able to play a co-op game. I've also encouraged people to get the game and feel bad that it doesn't work. They are liars at MS cause when I called the other day for a fix or a refund they said they'd "Never heard of this problem" and here is the thread on their own forums!! I also called Sierra and they directed me back to MS for a refund or fix. Sierra Online also doesn't even support this game anymore if you check their website.

THIS IS BS. Everyone needs to complain to make them own up to this problem. I wish 1up or gamespot would do a story about this so MS would be held accountable. They have the ability to refund points, they are just instructed not to.

Yep. Im SIGNED too. I bought the game when it came out too, and waited till my bro (who lives far away from me) to get it so I hadn't tried multiplayer till now. Great I told him to buy it and now it's money wasted because it's almost half a year later and Sierra or MS haven't done a thing to fix this issue.

thanks for touching base and all that, but it's hardly surprising that you have nothing to report since I would hazard a guess that absolutely nothing is being done to resolve the situation.

I would urge everybody here to pursue M$ for a refund, yes I know it's only a paltry sum of money but it's the principle that's at stake. We've all purchased something that doesn't do what it claims to do on the tin.

Well it took a good 25mins on the phone from customer service person to customer service supervisor to credit control supervisor and finally a refund (well fingers crossed I'll need to check my account later)

I had to laugh when the customer service person said that he had no information on his knowledge base about a problem with the game and that I should not believe everything in the official M$ forums since they are populated by kids.

Hey Lucky... Maybe the absolute best thing to do right now is to perhaps refund the 800 (or even 400, since the rest of the game is great single player!) Points to everyone that bought the game automatically, since it seems that dealing with MS is really beyond hassle.  I'd respect the live marketplace a whole lot more if this would happen.

I won an Xbox 360 9/10 10:20 PM.

I was unable to get a refund.

I spent literally an hour on the phone with the useless people from the 1-800 number.  i was eventually told there was nothing I could do, because I've had the game for more than 90 days.  Which sounds like complete crap to me, since of course i waited in good faith for a patch.

Instead, I let my Live Gold membership expire April 7th, and I will not re-start in until 2 month has passed ($10).  I will also not be purchasing any Sierra games again.

Vote with your money, not with forum posts.

So - congrats Sierra, Wanako, and Microsoft.  You pissed me off - and made me do something about it.

The Mantra in this situation should not be against Microsoft.  it should be against Sierra for distributing a game which clearly does not work as intended.  I will simply never purchase another Sierra Game till this matter is resolved.

Sierra/Wanako needs to take a page from Carbonated....Aegis Wing runs flawlessly over live (even with four players)...and here's the kicker, the head devs are mere interns (not a multi million dollar corporation that ignores their customers) and the game was........wait for it..........FREE

 

I would like to take this opportunity to bash sierra/wanako a little more and personally thank Scott Brodie, Danny Dyer and Matt Monson -and all at Carbonated for a game that functions as advertised and was well developed...cheers guys ....
