Stage: Osaka
Sorry for the new thread, but there appears to be a few people like me who are stuck on this achievement. Does anybody have a sure fire way of getting this? I've tried a few mentioned already but nowt seems to work.

Re: Stage: Osaka

same problem here. blew through all of the fiefs except for the ones the hint said to skip, then just ended turn over and over, defended if i was attacked, went toeht year specified... nothing... went a few years past.. still nothing... does this need to be done on a cetain difficulty or anything?

Stage: Osaka--- hard... start the "Sekigahara" scenario and choose Ieyasu Tokugawa's forces... annihilate all other fiefs EXCEPT Hideyori Toyotomi's fiefs. Now, skim ahead to the year 1615, Spring, and the battle should iniciate (NOTE: Yukimura Sanada  must be alive and always under Hideyori's control... so do not make him defect or anything)

this is the hint im talking about, i followed that..

Re: Stage: Osaka
Yeah ive followed that too. Stupid thing is Yukimura Sanada got captured by an opposing force in the year 1610 the first time i played it, so i had to reset.

Stage: Osaka Campaign
In Empire Mode, play the special stage "Osaka Campaign" and save your game.

OK here is exactly what i did.

Start battle of Sekigahara (1600)

Play on Novice

Change setting to MAX officers

Go to fief "Kai" and exchange Yukimura with okuni

Go to fief "Settus" and Place Yukimura there

Start the game by selecting the fief "Settus" which is controlled by Hideyouri Toyotomi, and also now has Yukimura as a General.

That's it, Now i just put my defences to max, my troops to max and keeps hitting proceed until the year 1614, Then I check to make sure all my people have max troops. And when 1615 comes you should get a prompt to participate in the battle of Osaka.

You can train your guys build up there weapons whatever you want to do just defend the 2 feifs "flawless i tried this like 10 times with a couple walkthroughs and this one worked first time.

P.S I stole this from xbox.com so please dont praise me

guess i didnt see it here, eitehr way it def works. just set it up like that, and just proceed. near like 1610 or so i had to defend a few times, but beyond that i never attacked or joined in on any allies fights...

Re: Stage: Osaka

dont know if i can post links to other places, but here it is....

http://www.achieve360points.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31040

incase it gets edited out, the post regarding the 4 guardians says

during the game when you have to choose to delegate, consult or decree just consult with the same 4 officers. if you keep consulting with them you will get he cut scene where your lord declares them the 4 guardians of the clan. this is how i've done it and its worked 3 times already once for the achivement and the others just because of gameplay. hope it works for you

sounds about right, i dont recall exactly how that one popped up for me, but i do try to use certain people more often than now when delegating tasks(ie my 2 created characters get the bulk of the work) so it makes sense that this is how i unlocked it..

Re: Stage: Osaka
That worked too. So simple, yet so frustrating to figure out!! I just kept 2 fiefs (1 with 1 Lord and 2 generals, and 1 with 3 generals), defended when need to, and Consuled with 1 of my 5 generals. Soon got it. Fantastic

I tried this and it didn't work. Are you supposed to help all of the allies or something? After I built up my defenses and all that jazz I just kept skipping my commmands (selecting proceed) so I could skip to the year 1615. I defended when I had to, but that was all the fighting I had to do. Is there a specific general you're supposed to replace Yukimara with in the fief Settsu? Or am I supposed to do some type of command every turn? The game didn't like something I did becuase the stage never happened for me

To BACKF1R3,

I had that same problem, Okuni wasn't even on the map, instead, I switched Yukimura with Ne-Ne from Hideyori's force into the Sanada Clan. Hope that clears things up abit. Smile [:)]

Re: Stage: Osaka
does anyone still play or remember this osaka thing, my problem is, i already beat this campaign through with Ieyasu (spelling), and now that i see to get this achievement i need to go back and play and Hideyori, i decided to start a new campaign, one problem, Yukimuria is no longer listed as a general for Hideyori in either base, so is there anyway i can reset him there, or anyway i can find him, anyone else have my problem ? if anyone has any suggestions much thanks

Re: Stage: Osaka
ok, like i said, i dont know if anyone plays but if u do, i figured out how to move Yukimuria, and its kind of cool just to play around with for a new campaign, if u hit the back button on any base u can change the generals of that base, so u can stack ur team or in this case move yukimuria from the sanada clan to the correct place, when i first started this campaign he was with Hideyori, but when i went to play it again, he moved back to the Sanada's, well anyways, just use ur back button, and then scroll down and click ok use u change each base how u want it

To clarify this works, I joined a few allied fights, that didn't seem to change anything, as for alliances I'm not so sure, don't ally with Ieyasu...duh..

But omg I finally have it, now I need that stupid 4 general achievment and I'm done ^^

Also, an even easier way is to do everything listed above, but keep allying with anyone and everyone if they start making their way to your base (though most of them are your allies to start with anyway) I even stayed allied with Ieyasu up until 1615, then as soon as I annulled the alliance (assuming you have it) the secret scenario started.

With that method, you never have to do ANYTHING. No defending, no fighting, no thing. Just keep up alliances.
