Just received this from Activision from the Customer Support team....

Thanks for contacting us.  Activision is indeed aware of the various issues on Marvel Ultimate Alliance in relation to the recently released game update. We are currently researching a solution, and truly appreciate your patience in this matter. For the purpose of acquiring more information regarding this issue, could you please respond with a precise account of what has occurred to your characters, items, and save game since the update?

Again, we are truly sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Your patience in this matter is much appreciated!

OK gang.....if you got bombed by the AU go tell Activision what weirdness you saw after.  The more information we give them, the faster this crap can get resolved.

Might help JUST a smidge if you actually put the contact info in. You know, so people would know who to write to and everything? Maybe just a little?

Might also help if someone(Activision) actually came onto the boards and said that. Not dissing OP, thanks for the info.

Clcik the SUPPORT tab at the top of the page and then the ASK A QUESTION tab.  It's pretty self explanatory from there.

I wasn't dissing you, I was saying that if someone can respond to your email, then someone should be able to come onto the boards and give a formal explanation of what's going on.

LOL, do you have ANY idea how many message boards there are that will be whining about this? No rep is gonna run around to every board.

 

Now, an announcment to IGN, GS, etc, that would be worthwhile.

I didn't say they should. But it's the fact that they haven't said anything period. Of course they're not going to "run around" to every board. FYI, its not uncommon for reps to come on here and give updates.

I have to agree. If I worked at Activision I wouldn't come 100 miles close to any forum right now unless I wanted to die a horrid flaming death by trolls. Only one dev I know could live through such a feat and still make everyone happy but he works for Rare. But a general press release would be nice.

No worries man...I didn't think you were dissing me.  If I had had my coffee when I posted that originally I would have included that info LOL.

Yeah it's time for a press release to Gamespot, IGN, someone.  At least I got a response.  I laughed when I read the "indeed aware of the various issues" part.  I bet they have been drilled.  But I say give them as much information as possible so they can act on it.

Thank you for posting this and at least giving everyone a solid answer.  It is nice to see that Activision actually still exists as I thought they packed up and left the country without answering and questions after they messed up.  To all the people who complained about the AU: hurry up and respond to Activision so everyone can get the DLC asap.  Gear wasn't all that important anyway.
