Hey guys.  This is Matthew Paul, the producer from Activision on Marvel: Ultimate Alliance.  I wanted you to know that we are still wrapping up QA on the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Heroes and Villains XBL DLC so it isn't out yet as some of you might have read.  We are working hard to finalize the packs and will let you know a new release date shortly.

 

Thanks for your patience and support.  The DLC will be well worth the wait once you get your hands on it.

thanks for the update. anychance of any conformation torwards when we can expect the dlc?

this is so lame.....if i didnt have some free microsoft points on the way i would not buy this!

Ok I dissed the guy a hair for his gamerscore on the game (fr me really I'll get it up no time ) so now I have to defend him a little

It takes courage to come into a forum full of irrate customers. It is more than many companies would do in fact that is why I was so positive he wasn't with the company. Customer Service in my book seperates the good companies from the great. Who knows he might follow up and read these comments or he might be going to other forums letting them know they are handling things as well. My point at least he posted and is letting us know what is going on. His one post has turned me into a fan of his company and has recommited me to getting the download (though a bit overpriced) whenever it may come out.

Oh I just thought of something I bet he read of our ideas for a VS mode and Stan Lee as a character download.. cool!

Yeah, but after people have been so ungrateful that they are making more characters for us (which, they don't have to do), do you really think they are going to go through this again? 

Welcome to the foot eating contest don't worry you can sit by me it's getting crowded but there is always room for one more. The D stands for Developer it came into place since this thread has been up. As much as I hate saying I'm wrong when I am I'm man enough to say so. He is legit.

Thanks for the update but how soon will this be out.  I downloaded the video, April 10 release date.  I downloaded the update and all I have to show for it is a screwed up save and some very empty shadows in my locker room.  Hulk want Hulk in Marvel game NOW!  Any clue when this will actually happen? Please give a date to quench my thirst for the "Smashing Puny Humans"

Has there been a offical delay to this game?  If so where is the source?  Bought all my pionts ready to download justt to find out a delay well this blows.  Get it out by Friday atleast!

Yeah you may want to check the entire thread before making questions that have been already answered.  Also people are still upset about the content not being released on time, just chill, kick back and relax, take it easy.  The developer said it will be released in a few days , they're workin out the bugs so let it be.  Find something else to do in the mean time like play another game or do your g/f ha ha but dont worry it'll be out.

He said they are going to announce a release date in the future!  Its definately not coming out Friday.  I doubt itwill be out until May.  He wouldn't be talking about release dates unless it was going to be some time from now, he would be talking about launch dates.

As I have been saying all along I'm thinking 2-4 weeks. Thurs or Friday to finish Q&A. Mon-Wed to find all of the problems. Give them a week and a half / two weeks to work on a solution and test it. Variables depend on their schedule, amount of problems found, complexity of the problems, and number of staff working to fix it. This time frame doesn't include the red tape of getting the downloads put up on live.

I agree on what you are saying Areacaode.  So everybody be patient and go occupy yourself with something and shut the f*% up with all flamin comments, good things happen to people who wait.

Good to hear an update. I am not surprised about, video game releases are often postponed and release dates are never cast in stone. I would rather have delay with a cleaner update then one that is filled with bugs. That is what Quality Assurance is all about, folks.

Well I've been waiting six months for a patch to fix the bugs found in the original game. They didn't even attempt to fix them in the faulty patch. Nothing good has come out of those six months yet.

At least they have made an attempt to inform us whats going on a little.

Even if it is only a small problem with the AU I'm sure they will at least look into fixing the problems they caused on people's game saves. Even if nothing can help just looking for solutions for that beast of a problem will still take time.

Weird content for this game goes up and down every other time I look...

First the tailer gets pulled then some other random content and gameply videos get posted now they are pulled again with just the theme and pics up...this is really weird I just want the new content and start playing already...

Yeah... this info would have been useful if the "automatic update" didn't suddenly dissappear, and now all the save data from after the update is portrayed as corrupted data.  Thanks for *** up my saves.  You guys better make the new content free, because this is bull.

Well luckily i haven't played the game since they made the update so i didn't download the update so my memory didn't get screwed up. I feel like playin it but i don't want the update to *** it up so i guess i'll have to wait to play it until everything is fixed.

Well thank you for taking the time to let us know what is going on. The thing that I was most mad about is that no one told us what was going on. At least we know that it won't be coming out for a little bit now, but a sure release date would be nice.

i think that the ones that screwed up was MARVEL! since they were the ones that gave the date of release in the first place! and if you got into activision`s page of the game... there never was a mention of the date! but...yeah! the least they could do (activision) was letting us know what was happening and not be turning the xbox every 15 minutes to see if it was available....
