I have an Xbox 360 and am wondering if this game was worth the buy. I've played original gauntlets and they always lacked something. Could u compare this game to baldur's gate?

I own this game because I tend to be a loyalty buyer.  I would say that one could beat the entire game in under twenty hours so in retrospect I would rent it.  It is fun though.

Rent it... I just returned after beating it with no knowledge of hack and slash gameplay and it didnt even take that long without hitting useless enemies this game disappointed me.

It's fun and easy. I don't know if it is worth buying, but I joined gamefly for just this reason. I hate buying a $40 - $50 game and beating it within a matter of days.

If you're an original Gauntlet fan, then this game is for you.  If you're more for Gauntlet Dark Legacy and or Legends, then this one might not be for you.  I would consider this one more of a remake of the original but with updated attacks, better graphics and an ending. 

For those who hate it, well, they're not true roots Gauntlet fans.  There's no way as it plays too much like it to be anything different

certainly not worth a buy. just trust me, it gets old fast, and there's not anything enjoyable to look forward to after the first run thru the game, which is only a few hours anyway.

The 3/4(?) view is kinda limiting, but overall a good take on a classic.

I'd say it's worth a buy. I play it multiplayer with my brothers and it's a blast. The graphics are pretty good for an Xbox game.
