I posted previously but I'll recap.  I was playing through easy, with no challenge until level 10-4. I had 24 lives and about 8 million points.  I died three times and after the third the game treated it as if  it was my last life.  It reset my score to 0 and made me start over at 10-1.  Major frustrating.  *NOTE* This was in the middle of a game, not an instance of the game not seeing the hard drive and my save... I died and everything was gone.

I gave the game a rest for a few days and went back to it last night to give it a go.  I proceeded to make it to 10-4 again only to be greeted with a win/loss record of 0/579.  I died again so I could have a camera ready to snap the photo(hence the 580, not 579).  After a couple of tries I did beat that level last night, but no glitch last night.

WTF?  Are there any developers of this game trolling the forum that can address this?  Anyone else have anything similar happen?

yes Level 10-4,  I had 17 lives died 3 times then game over. restart from level 10-1

 

 

So does this mean if you die 3 times in any given level, you will see "Game Over"? Or is it specific to this level?

I just jad this happen to me tonight.  I had 4 lives died once and got game over.  Now it says I lost 128 times. The points lost wont affect your rank though.  It will still go up normally

Glad to see the developers are on top of things.  lol  A year later and no patch to fix it.  Kudos.

Strange...last night I died 3 times on 14-2 and didn't get game over. Guess it must be an occasional thing.

As for the developers, maybe they didn't know about it? Not all devs read the forums. Has anyone actually contacted them about this issue? Maybe they have, I dunno, they could be another Digital Eclipse with Smash TV. I doubt they'd fix it now but it might still be worth a try.

Damn! I just lost my game!

I booted it up, it asked me if I wanted to load my game, I pressed A, for some reason, it reverted to 1-1 and 0 points.

I exited to the dash, booted it back up and it was gone for good.

I did wonder whether I pressed X instead but when I went back to load the new game I'd saved, then deliberately pressed X and it offered me difficulties to choose from, which it didn't when I lost my proper game so I know I didn't make a boo-boo and was glitched out of it.

So I thought, seeing as I now have lost my save, I may as well beat the last bonus level that I missed one on for that achievement. Did so but didn't get the achievement. Does it have to be done all in one run or am I just unlucky?

OMG. Considering how long it takes to work through the bulls**t number of levels to complete this game...if this happens to me I'm going to be MAJORLY PI55ED!

Thanks to the ridiculous point distribution, I need to get that all those bonus levels completed as part of the same game in order to reset my gamer score to a 0/5 ending.

Seriously. I'm getting kind of worked up just THINKING that this might happen to me!  >:(

I'm scared now.
