call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

CHAPTER 1 SAINT LO.

Listen up, solider! After a brief onscreen tutorial, when you learn your button commands, get in the transport truck and begin the level. At the onset, it may seem like *** on earth with the bullets flying everywhere, but gather yourself together and move forward, using the tombstones as cover. The best route is to go through the small stone house in the middle of the graveyard, making your way to the church ruins.

Once in front of the church, dispatch some Nazi's hiding behind the walls. Head into the church, go right and then crawl through the water trough. Continue in the trough and hop over the metal pipe

You'll be back in the city ruins, just follow the rest of your troops around and then go into the small house. You'll be attacked by a German soldier, bringing about a brief melee attack sequence involving your LT & RT buttons

After the melee, move through the remains of the house, where the troops are firing, and climb on the back of the tank. You need to point out the areas for the tank to fire. It's easy to spot these areas: just look for enemy troop concentrations hiding in the buildings marked by large red Nazi flags

The first area is to your immediate left in the house attic, then two housing areas on the right. The tank will move forward a little. Look down the street at the two story house on the right and fire at it. The tank will move again and then a Panzer tank will appear down the street, for you to fire upon.

And once again, your tank will move down the street and it will explode, sending you into the remains of a house (don't worry, it was supposed to happen). Run out the back of the house, then outside and through the café. You'll regroup with your boys.

After a brief dialog exchange between characters, you'll go into the café's basement. Move through the basement and meet some light troop resistance. You'll come up some stairs. Walk halfway up the stairs, and then back down and let your squad A.I. go upstairs and kill off all the troops.

Now go up the stairs and through the structure to the opening outside. Again, let your squad go outside first and dispatch many of the Germans that are laying in wait. After all the Germans have been killed, run through the house ruins, following the gold star on your compass in the lower left for your appropriate direction.

When you walk into the next set of structure ruins, watch out for a couple of German's hanging out on the ground floor of the house. Head up the stairs with your troops. After a brief dialog exchange between your comrades, you have to hold the line, again, against the German tanks outside.

Go to the far left corner wall, near the door entrance for your cover. Occasionally pop out and shoot at the German troops coming down the street. After a few minutes of holding off the German advance, some Sherman tanks will show up and save the day Go talk to your comrades to end the mission

Chapter Two: The Island

Okay, soldier: it's time to take the hill. The level is going to start off fast and furious. Use the tank as cover until it plows over the machine gun placement to your right, which is blocking the road. It helps to crouch behind the tank, occasionally peaking over to fire off a few rounds at the oncoming German troops.

After the tank has rammed through the barricade, follow it down the road to the farmhouse. Go inside the house on the right, killing Germans on the first and second floors.

Now make your way outside and take control of the barn, in the same fashion you used to take over the house. After this is completed, meet up with your squad who are standing near the stone wall outside

After the friendly chatter, you'll be on point. Head through the house ruins and make your way to the river bed. Make sure your ammo is full because you're about to be ambushed. You'll be attacked from the upper ridge line, and from your front inside the riverbed. After you survive this attack, make your way forward and watch out for more troops attacking you from the bridge. Find a machinegun deep in the riverbed, take it, then move up the hill.

Now that you're finally out of that riverbed, regroup with your men to plan out your attack on the anti-tank gun. You'll have a handful of German troops to kill near the gun placement, and once you take care of them move on down the dirt path.

You'll come across some house ruins full of troops; kill them. After they're dead, you'll be flanked by more troops, so head back down the path from which you came and kill off the attackers. Now follow your compass waypoint to the next objective.

It's time to take the hill soldier…again. Use the stone walls for cover as you make your way around the right side of the hill (follow your golden star on your compass). Once you get to the top, kill off all the troops and keep moving forward until you get knocked out (it's supposed to happen).

After you regain consciousness, you'll see an American Sherman tank move through the area. Follow it to an abandoned house and make your way inside and up to the top floor. You'll find an FG42 with a scope attachment, allowing you to fire off some solid sniper shots at the troops running from the house.

After they stop coming out, meet up with your squad and begin the last leg of this mission. You'll head down through a series of trenches, knocking out what German resistance you can find. The best way to navigate through these trenches is to keep an eye on your compass, and where the gold star is.

Move through these areas until you reach the top bunker, where there will be some light resistance at the top of this area. Move in with your squad mates and clear them out. After all of this is complete, your mission will be over.

Chapter Three: Night Drop.

You're going to be paired up with a new group of recruits:  the british and french .For the first part of the level, be as quiet as possible and melee-attack the solider who has his back to you. Move forward to the fence and then take out the other solider, which will wake every German up, ready for attack.

Except wooden boxes, find cover behind anything you can find. Keep moving through the front yard area by shooting at the Germans

, and make your way into the stable area, and then through another large yard into a large white house.

Once inside the large house, make your way upstairs and then out one of the windows, which leads to an aluminum rooftop for you to jump off of. After all of these troop concentrations have been killed, get in the jeep to drive around this next part of the level.

The best view in this scenario would be the 3rd person, behind the jeep view. This gives you the most range for what is coming up down the road. In order to succeed in this segment, follow the gold star icon on the compass in the lower left to get through to the next waypoint. After successfully driving through the previous area, you'll meet with the French resistance peeps, the Maquis. They need help with taking out the flak guns and rescuing a friend from a house. Since you have nothing better to do, you decide to help out

The three flak guns are all places at different ends of nearby trenches. Proceed through the trenches, dealing with the Nazi soldiers as they pop out, and attack. Then place detonation charges on each of the three flak guns. While placing the charge, follow the onscreen button combinations to place the fuse correctly and set the bomb.

Now get some distance between yourself and the explosion and proceed onto the rest of the flak guns

The structure will remain the same for the remainder of the flak guns; fight Nazi's in trench, set bomb. If you do get lost looking for the next flak gun, refer to your compass.

Now you get to attack a house full of Nazi's. You'll start by invading a garden, so find your cover where you can and shoot at the soldiers as they're poking their heads out when they shoot at the French troops. You'll also notice a tool shed containing a truck. Lob a grenade in there, blowing up the truck and all Nazi's who are contained inside of there.

Also, you can't just camp for the ***, picking them off one by one -- they will just keep respawning if you don't advance through the level, especially the troops who are lodged up in the house, shooting at you from the windows. There is enough time for you to rush around the left side of the house, through the open fence, to invade the interior of the house

As soon as you get inside and up the stairs, you'll run into another melee attack situation with a Nazi. Just keep pressing your LT & RT buttons and you'll win the day.

Now go through the rest of the house and deal with the troops who are hanging out by the window, shooting at all the French men who are running around outside. You'll see a little bit of a fire on the second floor. Walk up to it and drop through the floor to the bottom floor of the house and make your way through the house, using the sofas as cover.

Proceed through the remainder of the house and into the basement to rescue Marcel. Now go back to rendezvous with the jeep. Hop inside the jeep and step on the gas; you've a tank on you.

Go through this brief driving sequence, making your way through all the tanks and trucks that are blowing up left and right. They're just window dressing, so keep your eyes on the road and avoiding road obstacles, making your way to each waypoint.

Drive across the old boat house before the tank blows you up, and you'll get a satisfying mission accomplished text across your screen.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Four: Mayenne Bridge.

Your job here is to get in behind the enemy lines and dissemble the bombs on the Mayenne bridge. Start off by running into the house directly ahead of you. Clear out the Nazi's who are hanging out in there, the same process which you have accomplished all the other times you've cleared out a housing unit. One of the better weapons to use for this level is a shotgun, which is located on the second floor of the first house you enter, in a closet doorway. This will help out a lot in clearing out the remaining troop in not only this house, but the next one you have to take over

Now follow the waypoints and make your way inside the large castle. Nope, you're not returning to Castle Wolfenstein, but this small section is reminiscent of the classic. Utilize the A.I. from your squad mates, by making them storm into the rooms ahead of you, so you get a good position of the enemy.

Keep moving through the castle, through the large courtyard, and into the castle basement. After a brief encounter with some more Nazi resistance, you'll find yourself out back of the castle, where you will be ambushed by a flood of troops

Since the game spawns an unlimited amount of troops, you can't wait out this ambush, but you must push forward. Once the enemy troops stop firing to reload their weapons, push through to the next indicated waypoint on your compass, until you make it to the riverbed. Get into the boat, and use the right thumb-stick to paddle, getting you across the river

Once you're out of the boat, there will be a few machine gun placements, located in the nearest house, up the stairs to your left. Run into the house, and get up the stairs inside as fast as you can.

From there, pick off the other troops on the ground floor of the house one by one. Take out the two machine gun placements on the top floor and make your way out the back of the house, and walk through the large hole in the wall on the other side of the street

Walk into the dilapidated house and onto the patio out back, and jump down to the ground. Back out on the street, it's time to take care of a couple of Nebelwerfers. You can't go after this area head on; you must flank it. Do this by going into the house on your left, through the broken rubble, and up the stairs.

You can now fire upon all the Nazi's in the house across the street, allowing your access to the Nebelwerfers. You won't need to place any explosive charges on these guns, just kill off all the troops that are operating them and then get back onto the street.

Once you're back on the street, you'll have a German tank roll right by you and not even say hello. It's on the way to shoot at the convoy (which is acting as a distraction for you) on the other side of the river. It will be up to your squad to take out that tank. Your job here is to provide enough cover fire for one of your men to place a bomb on the back of the tank.

Once you blew up the tank, make your way inside the hotel on the left and take out the troops on the top floor. This will help to cover your back end once you rush the bridge. Now go back downstairs and meet up with your squad to plan out your attack on the bridge. As soon as you get out of the hotel, cover your back-end by shooting out the resistance trying to flank you. Now concentrate on the bridge.

Your priorities are the machinegun placements at the beginning of the bridge and providing cover fire for the rest of your squad. Just keep the barrel pointing downrange on the bridge, where you see all the Germans running at you. Once you see your squad advancing further down the bridge, run down there and catch up to them.

Now grab the other machine gun placement and take care of the rest of the troops. Mission accomplished.

Chapter Five: Falaise Road

You'll start off this mission manning the .50 cal gun on top of a Sherman tank. Concentrate your fire on any troops you see popping out on the sides of the roads until you reach the checkpoint, at which time your tank will be blown up (it's supposed to happen).

Make your way through the vineyard and towards the small tool hut, shooting up the Nazi's inside

After you make your way through the hut, and to the road, follow the pathway up the road and allow the A.I. to take control of one of the troops. They will set off an explosion to clear the road of debris, so you can move towards the Flak 88's. Move forward, fighting off the oncoming Nazi troops and concentrate on taking out the operators of the three main Flak 88's, located at the North and Northeast and southern locations on your map.

There's no need to place bombs on them; just take care of the troops operating them. Then, move onto the next section of the level, the temporary German control command center.

This warehouse has a few required objectives. First on your check off list is to remove all enemy presence in the area, by shooting every soldier you come across, allowing you to secure the area of enemy troops. Now the checkpoint objectives will change, asking you to go to different sections on the map, where you'll operate a crane, or plant a bomb, or open a valve

You must complete each of these objectives in order to begin the next sequence of events. They will all have on screen instructions for you -- we know you can do it, soldier. Just don't get yourself killed, or you'll have to start at the beginning of these three objectives.

After you have completed the three minimissions, make your way back inside the complex (as marked on your compass) and hold the fort. On the second floor is some ammo. At this point, you probably need it. Soon enough a Panzer will blast through the wall

Grab the Panzershrek near the rest of the ammo reloading area and fire off two solid shots at the Panzer downstairs

Guess what? Another Panzer tank shows up, but this time you have no more Panzershrek ammo. Cover the Sarge, as he runs downstairs to plant a bomb on the new Panzer. Once he plants the bomb, another Panzer shows up. Now it's your turn.

Run to the highlighted area on the right side of the new Panzer tank and stick the bomb on it. Mission Accomplished, time for some R&R.

Chapter Six: Fuel Plant.

No, this isn't Half Life 2, but there are a lot of explosive barrels scattered throughout this level. Find them, shoot at them, and send the Nazi's in flight. Right now, it's time to reunite with the French Maquis. Move forward towards the train cars, and you'll see fuel barrels sitting near the flat car.

Shoot at these barrels as soon as you can, which will send troops flying in all directions. Move up on top of the walkway and dispatch any remaining troops. Be aware of the soldiers hiding up in the towers, firing bullets down on your positions. Keep making your way through this level and into the large storage hanger.

Under the stairwell on the right of the storage hanger is fuel barrels stacked on top of each other. First, run towards the wooden boxes directly in front of you, and duck for cover. Now fire off a few shots into these barrels as the troops are running up the stairs, giving you fewer bad guys to deal with later.

You'll also have two fuel barrels on the upper platform in front of you, and for whatever reason, Nazi's love standing next to them. That's their fault, so make them pay for it at every encounter. After you kill all the troops in this open hanger area, make your way up the staircase and towards the office. You'll find some heavy resistance inside this office, so it's best to toss a grenade in there, taking care of a majority of the troops that are in there.

Now that the office is cleared out, one of your men will jump up to the roof to work as a sniper, providing some cover fire. Now move across the walkway towards the next office

After you kill the few troops in there, press the X button to open the main gates, thus completing your first set of mission objectives. Now walk out the doorway outside, and get into the jeep to escort Isabelle to the loading dock

This short -- yet action packed segment -- puts you behind the machine gun turret on the back of one of the army jeeps. Just aim at every fuel barrel you see, sending particles and troops flying in the air, on your way to your next set of objectives: bombing fuel silos

Make your way through the loading dock, finding cover from enemy fire, pushing forward through this part of the level, and to the staircases leading to the fuel silos.

Once you're near the first silo (as marked on your compass with a gold star), plant a detonation charge near the marked area on the silo and use the same process from before when you would place charges on tanks from previous levels

Now go across the walkway into the office and engage the enemy troops. You could toss a grenade or two into the offices, or duck behind work desks and fire at all incoming troops. Once you kill everyone, move back outside towards the next fuel silo and set the charge -- but wait, you'll be thrown into another melee hand-to-hand combat situation.

Follow the button sequences on the screen to survive this encounter, and you'll do just fine. Now head downstairs, as marked on your compass, into the furnace area. In here, be aware of the soldiers on the upper rafters

Keep pushing through, killing Nazi's left and right, making your way onto the aforementioned rafters and towards the exit. Jump down onto the ground and get behind the wheel of the transport truck waiting for you.

Another short driving sequence and the level is over. Avoid the tanks, run over Nazi's, and make your way to safety and the day is yours. Good job, solider.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Seven: The Black Baron.

This is a nice change of pace. You're in command of a tank throughout the level.

You'll start off on a large battlefield, shooting at other German tanks with your comrades (and of course Nazi troops), all the while proceeding towards the next checkpoint as marked on your map.

Eventually you'll come across a group of four German tanks. You're more than a match for them, just stay on the move while firing your canon and you just might make it out of here alive.

After your encounter with the four German tanks, you'll come across a small pathway on the right side of the battlefield, marked by a stone hut with ventilation windows.

Drive your tank down this path so you can flank one of the more powerful tanks. If you drive forward through the battlefield, you'll simply be outgunned; you have to outthink your opponent. These more powerful "tan-tanks" take three shots to destroy.

In regards to your health, it works just the same as if you were on foot; it regenerates. If your screen starts to turn too gray, back off and wait for it to return to normal. Thankfully your enemies' health does not recharge so time your three shots accordingly against your enemies.

Your next set of objectives lead you into a small French town as you track down this mythical, yet very real and powerful, super German tank.

A series of ambushes await you, so be on your toes, we mean, treads. Also, be wary of some German troops with Panzershreks. One or two of those up your tailpipe will light you up quicker than Grandpa when he's had too much egg nog at a family Christmas party

And remember, your health can recharge but your enemies cannot. If it looks to be getting a little too hairy, find some cover until things come back to normal and fire off that last shot at the tanks and move along to your next set of objectives

It will be up to you to flank the German super tank, as your comrades will provide the distraction.

Make your way through the barn near the battlefield on the edge of the French town, and you'll pop out behind the objective.

Keep firing at him as air support comes in and fires off a volley of missiles, eventually sending him up in smoke. Now get out of your tank and get some fresh air. You deserve it.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Eight: The Forest.

After your brief tenure as a tank commander, it's time to take back control of the American troops running through the forests of occupied France. For the early part of this level, you can just hang back and let your A.I. squad go on ahead and clear out the occupants of the observation post and damaged bunkers.

All you have to do is walk through the mission objectives. Only at the occupied bunker, you're required to, gasp, use your gun. Just aim downrange and pick a few targets to help the remainder of the A.I. squad to clear out the Germans.

After a brief cut-scene with a random soldier, the level will start to show its teeth. The difficulty increases when you attack the supply depot. There will be two sections where you must place explosive charges.

But first you need to clear out the enemy troops in the trenches. Just move through and mow them down with your gun, place the charges (as marked on your compass), and move onto the next objective: the direct assault.

Now, underground, in the guts of the trenches, you must flush the Germans out of the bunk beds and bathrooms. Grenades fly pass you frequently, so keep an eye on them and quickly throw them back.

Upon entering the trench, you can pick up the trench gun, located in the sleeping quarters in the doorway, directly to your right when you enter. This is a completely optional route you can take, but the trench gun will help you out tremendously during this section of the level.

Upon exiting the underground supply depot, you'll come outside to some German resistance firing down on your position. Take cover from behind any fallen trees and push forward, fighting back the enemy troops.

They'll run back to the hardest part of this level.Tons of German troops are holed up in trenches, across from a German tank. Some of your troops will throw out smoke grenades, to blanket your movement. That will help...to an extent. You should throw at least two more smoke grenades into the mix, providing more cover for you and your men, as you make your way across the road and into the German trenches.

Find cover wherever you can:  trees, logs, anything. Stay close to the ground; you might even want to think crawling. Use your grenades to stun the troops instead of outright killing them. When they're stunned and falling back from the grenade blast, open up with some gunfire to take care of them.

And don't stop pressing forward. If you think about trying to wait them out, you're in trouble. They will keep re-spawning to an endless amount of troops coming after your position. After you've pushed the Germans out of their trenches, and you've killed off the Mortar team, take control of their weapon.

Using a combination of moving the right and left thumb sticks, and the right trigger to fire, shoot off a few Mortar rounds into the vehicle road block directly in front of you. Once you clear the road, your mission is accomplished. Now get some rest. You're going to need it.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Nine: Laison River.

Now it's time for the Canadians to do their part and help with the war. This chapter will have lots of various objectives.

First, it's time to take another hill. Follow the rest of your soldiers across the stream and up the hillside to the house of rubble and find cover.

Clear out the Germans that are on the southern side of this rubble so they don't flank you. Take up position here, peer down your gun-scope and start picking your targets. As before, the enemies will constantly re-spawn, so you must move forward through the level or else it will never end. Think of this as videogame purgatory.

Move up the hillside to the next set of housing rubble, and now you will have the high ground against the Nazi's. They are in front of an old house, ducking behind just about anything lying around. The most effective way of eliminating them is to use the old tractor located just outside of the rubble: crawl under it and aim at the Germans firing at you.

Now that you have taken care of this section, move through the old house and you'll see a large mansion, which, of course, is full of Nazi's. You have two options of attack: high ground or frontal assault. We highly recommend the high ground attack, which will be a pathway along the left side of the mansion.

You'll encounter light resistance from enemy troops and be able to get quickly to the backside of the house and to destroy the mortar. Move along down the pathway to now take out some Flak cannons. You'll have three main Flak cannons to destroy here, and there will be heavy German opposition guarding these powerful cannons.

When moving through the trenches, the obvious idea is to use what cover is available. In stark contrast to earlier wooden boxes found in the game, these wooden boxes in the trenches are bulletproof.

Use them. Also, keep an eye on enemy grenades flying at you and be quick to pick them up and throw them back at every opportunity. Utilize smoke grenades if the fighting gets too tough, but don't use them all up. You're going to need at least one smoke grenade for this next section.

After effectively destroying three flak cannons, and the subsequent Nazi guards, you're going to be pinned by multiple machine gun turrets at the top of a very steep hill.

Throw a smoke grenade up at the machine gun turrets and wait for the smoke to cloud their vision. Move up, along the right side of the hill, flanking their position and either tossing a grenade or filling the gunners full of lead will finish them off, allowing your squad to move up behind you.

Run up and take control of the Mortar gun positioned near you, and aim down at the German supply trucks and fire away. Your objective here is to destroy all the motor pool targets.

Once you have done that, run down the hillside and clear out any remaining enemy troops that might still be hanging out.

Finally, you're at the last section of this mission which is to take control of a house. Run down the pathway, hanging onto the right side of this path and once you're in front of the house, use one of the multiple trees available for cover. Look down your gun sight and take out any Nazi you see. Oh, and as before, the troops will constantly re-spawn -- you know what that means: push forward.

When approaching the house, use the log piles directly in front of the doorway to aid your cover and approach. If you have any grenades left, be sure to toss them into the open door killing off any troops that remain inside.
Now make your way into the interior of the house, clearing out what troops are remaining inside.

Run out the backside of the house to find a few more German troops outside on the side of the house with another Flak canon. Don't worry, you don't need to destroy this one as well, just kill all the troops that are guarding it and you have another victory to notch into your belt. Good job.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Ten: The Crossroads.

You're going to have to clear out a town in ruins and push the Germans back. This will be accomplished in a house by house basis, so be prepared for some close quarters combat.

Your first set of objectives is to clear out a courtyard. The tank that you have been running behind will be destroyed shortly, so don't stand too close to it when that occurs.

What you want to do is enter the rubble of the house on your right to flank the German forces that are lodged up here. Now move through the western most house, and keep moving through the rest of the town.

Your new objective will be for you to rescue a squad of soldiers who are currently pinned down; save them. They're being attack by a fortified house full of Germans. You're going to split from your squad who will flank the house from the outside while you go into it. Half way into the house, you're going to be thrown into a melee attack situation with a knife wielding Nazi.

As before, follow the button combinations to make it out of this situation alive, which will have thrown you out of the house and onto the street.

Follow the waypoints to go into another house, and after you clear out the bottom floor you'll be ambushed by a half-dozen grenadiers who will keep throwing grenades down on your position. Fire up at the destroyed ceiling to take care of them, and then head up the stairs to the second floor to finish off the last of them.

A brief cut scene will occur, when your comrade
Dixon will be insured and you'll be inspired to take control of the machine gun placement in the house to fire bullets down on the advancing German troops.

Keep this up for a few minutes without dying and your next set of objectives is, you guessed it, to move through the town.

After a few skirmishes in the streets, move through the town until you make it to your next major checkpoint, where you are forced to choose a path. The recommended direction, since this has been the norm throughout the level, is to go left, into the house.

There are more areas to find cover inside the house, rather than being in the streets, which would have been your other choice of attack. Push through the house and back out on the street near the FlakVierlings. You won't have to destroy them yourself; the A.I. will take over this part for you. Now head over to the crossroads.

The path to the crossroads has a lot of Germans who will keep popping out of the housing rubble to fire shots at you. Just keep your wits, move forward and fire back at the Nazi's, and you'll make it to your next waypoint.

Eventually you'll be at the crossroads, the place where the fun begins. Waves of Germans and tanks come after you from just about every corner.

Just find some solid cover behind metal barrels or broken-down cars and wait for the dramatic entry of the American Sherman tanks to come from your left and right sides to destroy the German tanks and send the remainder of the Nazi's running for their lives.
Mission accomplished.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Eleven: Hostage.

Tired of the French, oui? Well, this is your last tour of duty with the Maquis, so enjoy it. You'll have a combination of driving to different waypoints, invading various houses culminating with a last stand against strong German opposition. Oh, and some hostage rescuing will occur. But first, to the jeep!

For the first part of this chapter, you'll be manning the passenger guns in the jeep. Hint: shoot at the bad guys. A cut scene will ensue and then you'll be thrown behind the wheel of the jeep. This driving segment can become confusing, due to the large driving map for this region. Follow the waypoints on the compass to guide you through (think GTA), because there are just too many roads and choices for you to get to your objective. The best advice here is to head in the general direction of the designated waypoint on your compass.

Now that you have finally reached your destination, it's time to rescue the Major held captive in the basement. But you can't go into that basement until you clear out the top floor of the house first.

After you clear out the top floor of Nazi's, head to the wine cellar of the house. Use the wine barrels for cover in the narrow hallways until you make it to the closed door.

Push open the closed door (X button) and a short cut scene will start and you'll save the Major. Good job, but now you must save three French Maquis held captive. Back to the jeep!

Drive through the town once again, avoiding all types of gunfire coming at you. Make it to the next waypoint which unsurprisingly is a house, then storm inside killing the few Germans inside, and rescue the Maquis held captive -- he's in one of the rooms locked inside with a gun.

Why he doesn't pop out and help you is beyond us. But this pattern will continue for the remaining captured Maquis: Drive to the waypoint, kill the Germans inside the house and a Frenchman will appear from a closed door.Once you rendezvous with the remaining Maquis members, to defend a courtyard from a series of attacks and heavy enemy opposition.

There will be a few sub-objectives during this last segment of the mission. The first of which is helping your squad defend against the German troops. Like before, this is will be one of those cases where enemy troops will constantly respawn, so be sure to run to each of the objective waypoints as marked on your compass, or else it will just be an endless cycle of terror.

Once the SDK shows up, assist Isabelle as she will plant a bomb on the side of the armored truck. She will blow up with the SDK, and there isn't anything you can do about it.

Right now, go back and help your squad (run to the waypoint) defend against the remaining troops.

After a few minutes of shooting at the ***, victory will be yours.

Chapter Twelve: The Corridor of Death

Canadians are go! It's up to you to find a missing tank crew and save them from certain doom. As you head towards the waypoint, you'll be ambushed by a horde of German troops in the backyard of this house

 .

Find cover where you can from the gunfire and make your way into one of the houses in ruin. You'll encounter light resistance, but when you attempt to step outside, you'll be thrown into another melee combat situation with a Nazi.

And as before, follow the button combo's on-screen to make it through alive. After the brief attack, follow the waypoints on your compass to make it to a safe location.

You'll make it back onto the city street, but you'll be pinned by machine gun fire. Locate the three machine gun placements, two in the buildings across from your location on the street, one will be on the rooftop, which you won't be able to see until you have run down the street (to the north) and set up shop inside the ruins of an old tavern. Look down the street and you will see a roof with a large hole in the middle of it. This is the location of the last machine gun placement.

From the rear of the tavern, three mortar crews will rain down rounds onto you. Locate them by seeing their locations on the compass map and the plums of smoke which shoot out the mortar rounds.

After you kill them, this will trigger a new wave of attacks from the north. Hold your ground and keep killing off the waves of Germans that come after you. After a minute of fighting, they'll throw smoke grenades at you to mask their movement.

Move over to the right side of the tavern, near one of the smoke grenades and keep using your melee attack (push down right thumb stick) and keep killing each German as they spawn into the tavern.

Walk out of the defended tavern and up to the door with the wooden planks on it (check your compass) and follow the onscreen commands to remove these planks and proceed through the next house.

Follow the objective locations on your compass and make your way through the house, fall through the floor and show up in this underground basement and plant the bomb on the designated spot.

All done!

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Thirteen: The Mace.

Hooray for the Polish. The level will make you feel like you're playing the arcade game Beach Head: you're in a stationary tank firing at all incoming enemies.

Your objectives here are to kill the incoming tanks before they kill you. Simple, right? Yea, it is. But eventually an enemy shell will find its mark and send you flying out of the tank (don't worry, that's supposed to happen).

Now that you're out of the tank, head to your left and fight the soldiers running up the hill and try not to get blown up by the tank following close behind. Keep running towards the waypoints marked on the compass until your crew regroups at the eastern front. After fighting various Germans, you'll feel compelled (and forced) to make your way to the Western front.

On you're way there, you'll have a choice of which pathway to go. You want to pick the pathway to your right, up the hill following Rudinkski. Pick up the scope rifle and fire down at the *** charging through the trenches, providing adequate cover fire for your squad. After a minute of this, run down the hill and re-join your group in the trenches and press forward through the oncoming troops, continuing west until you emerge from the trenches to the hillside.

Now you'll spot out targets for the artillery crews. Target all tanks you see on the northern and western roads by holding down the left thumb stick to use the binoculars, and then pulling the right trigger to throw the red flares. After a few minutes, you'll be overrun, so start heading up to the top of Hill 262.

Your next objective will be to defend the field hospital from the enemy advance. In short, you must kill any *** who cross your gun sights. You won't hold the ground for long, but you need to keep your friend Ulan alive, long enough to salvage the radio from a dead soldier -- also known as shoot-anything-and-everyone-that-isn't-on-your-team.

You'll finally make it to your last stand area.

First, you can call out artillery strikes, but eventually that will cease (for now). Move towards the first waypoint on the compass to trigger the enemy's advance up the hill.

Now, run back up to where you see the battered tank (where you entered into this last section). You'll find that you can still call artillery strikes from this position, since the game will think you're playing the previous objective, even though you've already triggered the final objective by going up to the first waypoint. Continue to call in as many artillery strikes as you want against the enemy tanks and troops attempting to flood your area. After a few minutes of this, support will arrive to save your ***. You live to see another level.

Re: call of duty 3 complete walkthrough

Chapter Fourteen: Chambois.

This is it. The final battle of World War 2. The determining factor if the *** will be finished off here, or will the US? Well, we know who wins. At the start of this mission, ignore the impulse to dig in behind the sandbags directly in front of you. Instead, run into the house on your right and take control of the mounted machine gun that is in place there and fire at the German advance.

After a few minutes, retreat to the next waypoint marked on your compass. Defend the rally point for a minute or two, until you are forced to go rally inside the church. A short cut-scene will thrust you outside of the church. Follow your squad to your next waypoint, relocate to the southern edge of town and keep killing ***.

You'll make a stand on top of a hill with heavy German opposition. One of your squad mates, Guzzo, will attempt to run down there to "tag" the enemy tanks, so air strikes will come in and secure this part of the town.

Cover him while he runs out there by shooting at the machine gun placements located inside the house closest to your position. You'll see them firing out the window. Look down your gun sight to take care of these gunners. Soon, Guzzo will be shot and
Dixon will save him, so now you have to provide cover fire for them while they hobble back to safety. A short cut-scene will begin and Dixon will be killed and Guzzo will take over. Head to the northern end of the town.

Provide cover (and a distraction) for the anti-tank solider to get his shot off in the middle of town, killing the panzer tank. The Germans will now try and flank your position; don't let them. Find cover at every available position and move forward through the town to your next objective waypoint.

Now that you've made it to the final waypoint in Chambois, defend the town and wait for reinforcements. Your first objective is to eliminate mortar crews out on the large battlefield. Go into the house ruins to the south, up to the second floor, and fire off a few rounds at the crews in the field. Don't bother wasting any ammo on the German troops, because they will constantly respawn. Your main targets will be the aforementioned mortar crews and tanks. Once you kill the mortar crews, head back out to where your squad is stationed, pick up the bazooka launcher near the left most cannon. Fire at the incoming tanks and armored trucks. Don't bother with the large canons, as they are difficult to control and provide just as much firepower at the bazooka launcher. The other drawback is that you are a sitting duck when controlling these canons and you will die. Frequently. All you have to do is hold off the tanks and trucks long enough for the airplanes to show up and save the day. You've won the war, good job. Now go outside and get some exercise soldier. That's an order.
