Front Cover:
Don't know whether you can see it clearly but on the white strip it says OCTOBER 2009. It's got to be recent because it's also got Halo ODST on it as well.
Previews Cover:
Just in case you can't see it very well it says 'It's back, and this time, it won't be such a ghost island!'

'Concept Cars: Realising TDU's potential...'
'Worlds Apart: TDU was already so ahead of it's time it's sequel needs only the merest upgrades. Even newer sandbox racers can't approach the sheer scale and quality of Eden's universe. No other racer has attempted an always online fully open world populated by real racers, a campaign which lasted over 70 hours, and LIVE options which make even the newest motor 'em ups seem outdated.'
'La Isla Bonita: On an island nine-tenths mountain and green space off-roading was conspicuous by it's absence in TDU - and going cross-country in an F430 was a back-breaking wheel spin and doughnut fest. The most obvious addition teased by the concept sketches are off-road bikes and buggies, together with the dirt tracks and grassy fields to ride them over. Should be muddy good fun, all told.'
Article Part 2 (1 + 2):
"CONCEPT ART AND EARLY TESTS TEASE AT THE FUTURE OF TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED"
'It was the world's first Rich *** simulator. Test Drive Unlimited was about livin' la vida loca in a tropical paradise, hanging around with your cool rich friends and driving supercars at pensioner-bothering speeds. It was about buying a huge house and dressing your attractive avatar in designer clothes, taking a stroll around your garage before popping out for a snoozy run at 204mph. TDU wasn't just a racing game, it was a driving game, empowering you wih the sense that you actually owned a fleet of supercars - with the glorious trappings that entailed... Test Drive Unlimited 2 was quietly announced late last year and promptly dropped off the face of the planet, as is developer Eden's way. Atari remain tight-lipped but a recent torrent of concept art hints at a stunning vision. Bear in mind the imagery below is almost two years old and stems from work which began shortly after TDU was shipped. All or none of the ideas might have been discarded in the intervening time, but most of the planned features are rock-solid and should appear in the sequel - now planned for release for early 2010. As complete as Test Drive Unlimited was in so many ways, bizzarely it's greatest achievement was its virtually unlimited potential. So along with the usual graphical upgrades it's everything you'd expect from Test Drive Unlimited 2, but more importantly it's everything you want. If the next installment is everything Test Drive Unlimited promised to be we reckon it might just turn out to be the racer of the generation.'
'Rear Window - Opening doors and windows are old hat - how about a parking brake, working indicators, headlights, windscreen wipers and convertible roofs? All features you'll need if Eden's plans for dynamic weather and a full night/day cycle to make it into the final game. They're all illustrated in the concept art, while some of the 3D models are made for the games racing schools and airport are in there too.
'Full Auto - The best races in TDU2 could take you straight across the island as the crow flies, tearing through forests, across road junctions; like FUEL, only without the Mad Max design and without being...well...rubbish. But then, TDU always straddled the line between sim and arcade, with even the least important parts of cars made fully functional.'
'Fuel For Thought - More dubious than these concept shots teasing a fuel gauge and license tests for vehicle classes. Rather than buying your way into a fast car you'd need to earn your place behind the wheel and keep the car topped up with fuel once you get there. They're interesting from a sim angle, but hardly lend themselves to the high speed arcade racing of TDU.'
