If you don't have more than 10 brutals, the doom trolls won't appear...thus allowing you to kill them when most needs be.

Are the doom trolls only activated by the number of brutals? I thougt carnage and frency also counted?

They are activated by carnages guys.

I got another question...

I have 4 times tried to complete the Forgotten Forest, but each and every time I reach the end of the level, the barricade to the previous parts of the forest keeps blocking my way back, even though I killed ALL the trolls in the last section?! I only have one single option: To go through the gate and end the level.

Is this a glitch in the game, or am I doing something wrong?

You can't go back, you must get all your points at the last troll spawn before going to the end. It's something that was updated with a patch I believe, though I just started playing in January so for me it's always been like that. If you go to Dmbledore's site, he has an updated guide on how to do it the new way I believe. The A ranking for that level is actually easier to get than a lot of people think. It's getting one of the top scores that's f-in impossible lol!

The number of Doomed Trolls that will appear is based on Carnages they will appear as follows.

Carnages = C
Doomed Troll = DT

10 C = 1 DT
20 C = 3 DT
30 C = 5 DT
40 C = 7 DT
50 C = 10 DT

And So On, I remember having almost  20 Doom trolls assaulting me..

And for every achievement i got in that game (A Ranking Wise)

I got them either when i was...

- Sleepy

- Dead *** Tired

- Hung Over

- Etcetera.

I just play better when i am Tired..ANyone else have this syndrome..

this amazing god given syndrome that i wish was switched for when i was awake... : d

Thank you guys, now i was able to get some A-ranks. I passed the easier levels and will try the more difficult ones after some good  studying of the videos

Hum de dum. I think it's time I update my website with the latest Kameo Guide and then update the GameFAQ guide, along with this one for the last time. Fou, you sent me something earlier I believe and it seems to of disappeared. I don't remember specifically what it was, but it was a move to get brutals or achieve warrior focus with. Remember what it was per chance? :o

Amazingly yes. Just keep hitting right trigger with Flex and you can achieve Focus Mode.

Seems rapidshare doesn't have any left, though I'm not surprised. As for Filefront, I guess someone reported them and they were taken off by the site staff. I asked if B would look into it and if he still has the videos to upload them again. If not I'll ask Dmbledore if he'll make two quick videos for it.

Yah.  I've been wanting to make a fresh set of videos for all of the normal A rankings. Now that I've gotten my 10K in Gears I have time now.  I don't an ETA but I will make them.

EDIT:  I looks like the remove my Expert Mode videos too.  Nevertheless, I host the Expert vids on my website.  I guess in the future, check my site for the most accurate locations of the videos.

By the way Dmbledore, have you had any issue with GoDaddy at all? Such as uptimes and speeds? Kindof curious as while my host is great with those two, their bandwith that they allow isn't terribly great.

Also curious how much bandwith you've used total on your expert mode video guides through your website as well.

Looks like you guys have put together a cool guide. The links to the videos for A ranking no longer appear to work though. Is there any chance that you could re-set the links for these videos??

I can only speak for my videos.  Instead of giving a link for each of my video, use this link for the directory where all the videos are located.  Even if the videos get deleted, this link will still work.  I'm in the process of re-uploading the expert vids.

I have managed to get all but TWO of the A Ranks which are the Snow Temple and Forgotten Forest (Even with the Videos they are still quite hard ) but i thought i would say thanks for taking the Time to help not just me but eveyone with the A Ranks on Kameo
