Frequently Asked Questions:Should I buy this game?!?!?!I would suggest atleast giving it a rental. It's a fun game. But it's not for everyone
If I play this game, Will it spoil the movie?Yes! The game follow's the storyline of all three movies. My suggestion would be to watch all three first if it's important to you.
Can I go back and retry a level without starting over?Yes. Just pick level select from the main screen after you load your game.
Where is the demo?
As far as I know, No demo is currently scheduled for release in the US. UK users already have one. Just look on marketplace.
What is "Duel mode" how does it work.Duel mode is probably the best part of the game imo. You are either on defense or you're the attack. Three circles appear on the left or right of your screen. (Depends who you're fighting and where they stand) A button with light up right before they attack. Press up on the left thumbstick to block high. Away from them if they attack in the middle and down to block low. After the bar meter below your character's name fills up. You go on the attack. Same concept as above. Up, middle and down are where you attack. Each person you face will throw certain combo's at you. Learn them and it makes defending alot easier.
Press the right and left bumpers when a bar appear's on the bottom of the screen. Whomever has the red bar on their side will come out of the lockup on top.
Dueling special moves. - To perform a special move you must have sufficient energy in your bar. While attacking, perform a spin attack by pressing A. instead of moving LS. While defending, press X, Y or B immediately after a successful defend to counter attack
What are the green chest? How do you open them? The green chest you find around the maps are called " Jackanism chest" First off. Only jack can open these. To open them you need to find three shrunken heads. (On the top left corner you will see a skull with two dot's above it. Fill both those dots and his eye's should glow.) When you do this you hold LT/RT and press A. While standing near the chest. The green blast that forms around you will knock the chest open.
How do you collect somebody's soul? When either one or two green dot's are about the skulls head. Hold LT/RT and press A. You sword will glow green for a short time. Hit A for a one hit kill and to collect their soul.
How many item's are found in each level? Each level has 7 hidden item's. (They can be found just lay around or in chest) One Jackanism chest. And one chest that hold's Calypso Pieces.
What are calypso pieces? It's a parchment. Collect all 11 to complete the scroll at the back of your Captain's Log.
What is noteriety? Why is it important? The higher your noteriety, The higher you rank on the leaderboards. To build your notoriety pick up money bags or perform certain actions thoughout the game. (Including when you are locked in combat)
How do you tell how much health you have?On the left side of your HUD is the health display. The rings around the skull show you how much health you have left. Pickup health from dead enemies, chest and throughout the level.
If you have any question's please ask. And if I made any mistakes please let me know. I'll fix them. Hope this help's.
