Is that confirmed, or theory? I have the map packs, but have not tried this yet.

I'm wondering if I should delete before I try.

No, these are the single player terrorist hunts.  They are not that hard if you have a shield and know where the terrorists are.

Use a Desert Eagle with high capacity magazine and keep your back in a corner or against a wall and you should do fine.

I can tell you that I have the Red and Black editions loaded and got the achievement. I did the bulk of the SP Thunts AFTER installing the packs, but I definitely spent a lot of time early in my R6V career in SP Thunt Border Town learning how to use the various weapons and tactics.

So, long story short, I loaded the map packs and did the maps listed here in Saltzar's thread and got the achievement with no problem (unless you count getting shredded a few times in the Library or in the Research Labs!)

Tried my first "low count" T-hunt yesterday (in Bordertown). I came around the first corner and got jumped. Scared the CRAP out of me!!! Played a few more games... Got it down to 15 a couple times... Did not have time for more.

But dang it... I don't have the shield... I know I used it in-game, but I guess it did not save (or I did something wrong, i.e used, but did not finish with it). Going to read back to see what I need to do.

I have that problem with the XM26 shotgun. I know I picked it up, but I know I got wasted a lot in there. Now that I'm all done with the SP campaigns, I don't have it in my inventory. I think I did pick it up, but NOT on the round where I actually made it to the save point. Could be the same issue with your shield.

I know there is a shield right at the beginning of The Strip, but unless you rocket through it on Normal, it can be a long long fight to the save point. There is also a shield in the sewers right after Red Lotus / Fremont Street. I'm sure there are others, but those are the two I know of right off the top of my head.

I read about the first location, and remember the second...

I'll give it a go (someday) and report back.

I have completed all the maps on Normal difficulty, and didn't get the ACHIEVMENT!! I played with 2 controllers. Do both people have to survive??

Well I didn't see it in my T-hunt game equipment... Went back to The Strip to get, picked up the shield up right by the police SUVs, played to the save point, with shield in hand... Went to T-hunt... Not there... Then I realized it's not in a gadget slot, it's in a weapon slot... So I probably had it all along...

Ok, I beat Border Town on relistic Settings, Before Then when i was done it said continue with mission or go to main menu, Ok I went to main menu, Does the xbox know I completed the the border town or did i have to continue mission. Can I jump around even though it has no symbol of completion in terrorist hunt. Please I read tons of people not getting this achievement and I completed just one. Im stopping there and reffering to your guys help. Can i jump around or should i start border town again and press continue mission? in one seating? Can I just go to main menu and continue to jump around, Is my Border town recorded as finished even though I see nothing of a symbol.

That list looks fairly accurate off the top of my head. Good luck!

I was one of the folks who played through without any trouble all the while having my Red and Black packs installed. I would say that so long as you don't regularly play the maps introduced in those packs, you could probably avoid some grief by being proactive and deleting the content before you get too involved, but again, I managed it without any issues.

If you can tear through T-hunt without much trouble, I would try it with the packs installed... I am, just to see if it now works... After the update...
