Its done that for me as well.  The only thing I can suggest is just trying it again later, or maybe restarting the computer.  When it happened to me, I turned it off and tried it again the next day and I think it worked.  That could have been luck though.  There seems to be many problems with that site.

there is a small problem with the splash site for me, every time i click the start the show button for the puppet show it directs me to chicken kicken, is there a way that i can fix this problem?

The "Hero's Tale" game had been moved to a different site awhile back. I think the OP of this thread has the correct URL in his first post. If not, it's somewhere in this thread, probably towards the beginning. Sorry, I don't know the URL offhand.

This is the same for me ive tried so many times now, i think it all screws up if you ether enter the wrong date of birth or try the game on two different computers. Do you need to have xbox gold to do this? i had a 48 hour one but when i went to the chest it still said that error thing

I got my (CE) game when it came out, dl'd the bonus content about a week later, then didn't touch the game till today. I don't have them anymore, and I cant get them from the chest regardless of whether I'm logged into live or not. Any help?

Then the thing and the LOADING disapper, only the black remains...
The browser tells that is trying to estabilsh a connection with microsoft, but it does not....

I'm not sure what the problem is, but I got both of the links to work fine (even though they're the same, doesn't hurt to check anyway). I clicked them, the Origami Fortune Teller shows up along with "Loading Your Destiny" with no status bar at first. Then, the black background loads in, and a status bar appears under the Fortune Teller, and the Hero drops in, then a few seconds later the Curtains, "Hero's Tale" message, and the rope you're supposed to click on drops in.

I'm not exactly sure why it will not load for you. Perhaps you need to use a different internet browser. I've heard of some people with Windows 7 claiming that Internet Explorer is working differently, like some settings were reset or changed. First off, what web browser are you using?

PS: I'm using the Safari browser and it loaded fine for me. I also just tested it with Firefox and it worked as well.

I didn't get the Collector's Edition (wish I would have though!), but I don't know why it wouldn't at least let you get your Halo-themed stuff.

The only thing I can recommend is to go to your download history and re-download the Collector's Edition content, perhaps that will fix the CE content issue. I'm not 100% sure if that'll work, but it's something to try.

I used Internet Explorer. It was a bit slow but that's more my laptops fault. Other than that, I didn't have any problems. It worked fine for me. *shrug*

1: Yes I'm getting the Fable2.com message. 2: I think I looked at my dl history and it wasn't there, though I had to send my xbox in between the collectors edition and now for the RRoD, could that be the problem? ( I had to get a whole new console sent to me, but kept my harddrive. ) Also I looked again, and I DO have Hal's Armor on ONE character.

Well, then if you can't find it on your download history I'm not exactly sure what to do. If you looked at your DL History on your 360, it may have been a little difficult to find it (if you got the game when it came out, about a year ago now). Just in case I would check your DL History through Xbox.com here.

If it still doesn't show up, I would probably call Support and explain the situation to them, maybe they will be able to assist you. You could always try entering the Collector's Edition DL code, but that may just tell you the code has already been redeemed.

This is about all I can think of doing at the moment. Maybe someone else from this thread who has the Collector's Edition of Fable 2 could give some more advice??

Did the "Hero's Tale" work for you? If you were able to open the chest at all, that's great. Unfortunately, you can only open the chest once per Hero, so to get the chicken suit (and anything else you may have not gotten), you'd need to create a new Hero.

I was able to play -- I googled it and it said you could actually play it 3 times, so long as you only open the chest once.  But my computer (or the site) was so slow that I got frustrated after twice and then opened the chest.  I got everything BUT the chicken suit ... I just want to make sure I can buy it at some point???

I went through a lot of posts on this thread and it seems opinions are mixed -- if you didn't unlock the chicken suit through the fable2.com site, can you buy it at a shop later on in the game?

I'm not for sure, but I thought you could find it in stores ONLY if you received it from the "Hero's Tale" game. Maybe someone else can answer with a little more conviction, but yeah, I thought you could only find it in stores if you had already gotten it.

Wont let me in on Fable 2.com. I place in my birthdate and get the "Nay, nay, nay" thing. The hero chest in game says to visit www.Fable2.com.

It is tricky...put in the DAY of your birth first, then the MONTH of your birth, then finally, the YEAR.

I was stumped at first too...

I love a good sandbox game. I cant wait for BioShock 2: Sea of Dreams.

Halo 3: 1250g
King Kong: 1000g

I just spoke to one of my friends who started playing Fable 2 less than a week ago, and he said he accessed the Hero's Tale game with no problem, and although he had some trouble at first, he was able to get the items from the Old Tomb Chest with no problem.

He said that when he checked the chest right after doing the Hero's Tale, that it still told him to go to fable2.com, blah blah blah, but he waited an hour or so, and when he came back to it, it opened no problem.

So perhaps it's starting to work a little more/better now...? I sure hope so with the Fable 2 Episodes releasing, because there's gonna be more people complaining if it's not fixed.

For some people, they will acquire the items after a delay. Sometimes it is an hour, sometimes it may be a week. It's not normally supposed to be delayed, but luckily for you, it still worked.
