Just wondering if anyone plays any other Rhythm games.
I have played toooo much DDR and ITG, completed every song on both games and every edition on Expert...
I play stepmania too.

Anyone else?

I'm pretty new to the genre tbh, my first rhythm game was this one, my 2nd was Guitar Hero II. I just used to think it was such a gimmicky genre in the past. Like when I saw people playing Donkey Konga on the Gamecube, I just couldn't believe people liked that sort of game.

I'm not one for the big "gimmicky" rhythm games with accessories, like Guitar Hero or DDR, but right now I'm mostly addicted to Elite Beat Agents on the DS.

I would of agreed with that until I had a go. GH2 is outstanding. If you like BBR you can't fail to love GH2

I think the first rhythm game I ever played was Parappa the Rapper. Since I liked that I played UmJammer Lammy, which was a much better game. Parappa 2 was not very good so I lost interest in the genre until Guitar Hero came out. The Guitar Hero series is amazing, not very gimicky at all. I also tried out Elite Beat Agents and it remains one of my favorite DS games. Sometimes I also play an online DDR clone called Flash Flash Revolution, but I'm not very good at it.

Lost intrest in the genre after kids (in the UK anyway I don't know what its like elsewhere in the world) started coming and instead of playing for fun they just stamped to see who could get the most AAA's. Although I could get a couple the games went downhill in my eyes.

I have DDR - I'm DYING to play it but I can't fit the Dance Mat in my "play area", my room is too small. Once I've rearranged it, though, it should be fine. Is DDR really good?

I like DDR Universe and DDR Universe 2. They are both great games. You should come and play! We have a LIVE Dancing day every Wednesday! It's posted in the DDR forum....

 

bbr was my 1st rythem based game, untill this i thought it was quite a "sad" genre, but now, i love it, im hooked on flashflashrevolution, it owns :P and guitar hero, 1 of my fav genres now XD

I've played Boom Boom Rocket, Donkey Konga, Donkey Konga II, Donkey Konga Junglebeat, Guitar Hero III, Guitar Hero II, Guitar Hero. Never have played DDR or any of those dance-mat games.

This is the only Rkythm game i have played and ive actualy loved. I might pick up Rock Band when it hits Aussie shores.

Just started playing Frets of Fire (kind of meh cuz my pc sucks) and Stepmania,  which I get the feeling is going to be the end of all my spare time now that I downloaded the Mungoyodance track packs bringing my track count to over 900.

Well, actually I don't like rythm games... But right now I'm trying to get 200/200 on this game, kind of hard (hard endurance achiev).
I do play another rythm game called: Rythm Heaven (NDS), pretty cool
