This is a general FAQ for those who need to ask basic questions.

The FBI has shot down your spaceship and taken it from you. Do whatever it takes to get it back!

Yes, that is pretty much all there is.

Basic Controls

Shoot - X button

Jump - A button

Grenade - B button

Right Trigger - Roll Right

Left Trigger - Roll Left

Left Control Stick (alternative - Directional Pad) - Move

Y Button - Enter Vehicles, other actions

"Advanced" Controls

Charged Shot - Hold X

Ride on Head aka "Freak Attack"- Jump (A) then press A again when near enemy's head

Head Chomp - (while riding on head) Press X

Pick Up and Throw - (while riding on head) Press Y, then X

Dig - At the same time, press Y and Down; press X to kill the guy above you.

Frequently Asked Questions
 
How much does Alien Hominid HD cost?
Alien Hominid HD costs 800 Microsoft Points, or $10 US dollars.
 
Is there online play in Alien Hominid HD?
Yes, there is. There is online play in two minigames, the PDA Games and All-You-Can-Eat.
 
But is there online co-op?
Unfortunately, no. But you can play co-op on the same Xbox 360.
 
How many bosses are there, if any?
There is a boss at the end of each stage, sometimes 2 or 3. Each boss has a particular pattern to defeat them, so learn 'em and beat 'em!
 
How many difficulties are there?
There are 3: Easy, Medium, and Hard.
 
Can I customize my alien?
You can unlock hats and put them on your alien.
 
How many unlockable achievements are there, and how many points can you get?
There are 12 achievements, totaling 200 points. The "Mad Hatter" is glitched, however, so that makes 180.
 
My Alien Hominid HD loads up with a blank screen. What's wrong?
If you own Guitar Hero II, be sure to check if your Guitar Hero II controller is NOT plugged in.
 
Is this game hard?
Considerably, yes. But you can change the diffuculty to your liking.
 
How many PDA levels are there?
Your Alien Hominid comes with 50 levels.There are PDA packs available for 150 Microsoft points. Each new PDA pack contains 100 extra, new levels. The 4 new PDA packs are the Euro Pack, the Hot New Levels Pack, Classic Pack 1, and Classic Pack 2.
 
What game mode affects the Friends Leaderboard you can access on the Dashboard?
The main game on Normal, since it is the default.
 
What is "Style", and how do you get it?
"Style" is how "fancy" your performance was in the level. You can gain Style by chomping off heads, throwing, and knifing.
 
How come I'm not getting as many points in Easy as I did in Normal?
The difficulty effects how many points you get. If you did Easy and you shot 1 enemy, you will get 1 point. If you shot 1 enemy on Normal, you will get 2 points. Basically, Easy's points are halved of Normal's, and Hard's points are doubled of Normal's.
 
I've seen the highscore leaderboards with 6 and 7 digit scores! That's flipping crazy! How do I get that high of a score?!?
People supposedly "grind" enemies: some spots in the game enemies come infidently, so the player can just kill them as long as they want, that is, if they don't die.
 
There's no level creator in the PDA games!!! Why?!?
Even though there was one in the console versions, the PDA games have online functionality. Someone could transform the blocks to show something that is explicit (like a cuss word) or something else that is bad, IMO.
 
Say there's a guy who hosts the PDA games with his own level, created with a huge cuss word. Another guy joins with a Family account. He sees the cuss word, and maybe, and unfortunately, his family is in the room, with kids, his wife, whoever; this could cause a bad example towards them.
