Introduction
Jetpac Refulled is an xbox live arcade game developed by Rare. For Microsofts Xbox Live Arcade.It is a new take on Rare/Ultimate’s 1983 classic space blaster with enhanced graphics and Xbox Live features you must clear a path through loads of aliens to refuel their ship and amass a fortune over the course of more than 100 high def levels. The price of this game is 400 MS points.
Gameplay
The point of the game is pretty much the same as the original and is as follows. You play as the same hero, flying through levels and taking down waves of enemies in your pursuit to repair and refuel your rocket. You still collect treasures to raise your score and earn extra lives. Like the original
Redesigned Features
Where as the original Jetpac offered 16 levels this updated version offers 168 different levels. you can now look for EMP bombs allowing you to clear the whole screen. Your laser rifle can be upgraded from a regular shot to a straight and vertical shot, to a scatter gun, and then back to a much more powerful single shot. The game also saves your progress every five levels, allowing you to come back to your game without losing progress.
Game Modes
I have already talked about the single player in detail so i am mostly going to be talking about multiplayer in this section. Jetpac Refuelled features a multiplayer mode that can be played with a friend on 1 Xbox 360. You both compete on one screen to build, fuel, and launch your rocket first. Items can be stolen from your friend or opponent by shooting it out of their hand or by using an EMP at close range. Lives are unlimited in multiplayer and the winner is decided by score. The match ends when the set time limit expires. Leaderboards are offered for single player Refuelled and single player Retro.
