Just to let you all know - I just raced 3 people and they all got the EA Moderator achievement.

Before you ask to race me, make sure you have the "Coke Zero Boost Download" which should appear when you put the disk in and play the game. You MUST have this in order to game up with me.

I have a question for the EA Moderators that can give out this acheivement for ProStreet.

Was it due to threads like this one and the ones about Community Race Days, that caused the exclusion of online & community-based achievements in Need for Speed: Shift?

I'm afraid I don't know, but I would have thought it is a good chance that it was due to these sort of threads. So many people have complained about these sort of achievements and especially for Need For Speed Carbon where EA Torque is the ONLY remaining active moderator for it. (I'm not even sure if he is active anymore) As a result no-one can get those achievements.

Doesn't it say somewhere that achievements must be unlockable by everyone ?

Actually I think achievements just need to be reasonable enough that anyone can get it with some effort IMHO.

I think achievements just need to be ACHIEVABLE.
If I buy a game, i want to be able to achieve 1000/1000.
Even if i buy it after 1-2 years it's released.

Haha I like that ! Yes Carbon is past its sell by date. I think even prostreet has some achievements now which cannot be obtained *community race days ? can this be confirmed please?*

Well yes, the effort required to get EA Moderator achievement for Carbon is ridiculuous though because I had to wait a year and that was while letting everyone know about the moderators every announcement !

threads like this or any other threads did not put a stop to the online ea mod achievement

i would have to say that it was alot easier for other ppl to get the ea mod achievement on pro street then what it was for carbon

i think its being good that we havent seen many online achievements like this in the last few games but u might see them again in the coming games

i probably gave the ea mod achievement to over 200 - 250 ppl back when this game was kinda popular

i wish i could still give it out to u guys but my disk always freezes when i load it in so sorry for that

as for carbon, i know myself and alot of other ppl didnt have a issue getting that achievement bc we basically played it when carbon was busy with online players
